Michael saved the day. He showed up early to replace a pump that was flooding our basement. Excellent work and a fair price. Bryan

I left a review last week but want to update. Absolutely do not use this company. John, David, Josh…read moreor whomever was so completely unprofessional. Our HVAC of 2 years went out, we called and number didn't work, found a different number which they had an excuse for, they sent a plumber and obviously had no idea of the unit. They state they ordered a part, came out and then told my 80 year old mother it was $635 for 42 minutes, of course that was extreme so my husband said no way. After a phone call to my husband the tech said "My bad" then $350. We paid and nothing, not working for another week. My husband made several attempts to reach out via text and phone calls, nothing. And so I call the next day seeing Memorial Day weekend rolled into this and we have no air. John, Josh or whomever answers to me since they have now blocked my husband, and he hung up on me saying they won't work for us. So they installed, never returned, do not warranty or register the unit, then proceed to cowardly hang up and treat an elderly woman so discourteous and the end result is another company rescued us. Fixed the unit on the first visit, found and diagnosed the problem and $118 later we have cold air. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE(won't even say "company")

When I was made aware of a black hole in the downstairs bath room ceiling, I knew I had a problem,…read moreprobably from the 27 year old toilet in the upstairs bath room. Being concerned about the expensive local plumber I have used in the past I went on the web! Not being comfortable with the label "PIPE DREAMS" I bit the bullet as he was very local and had a high "yelp" rating so I gave him a call the next business day about 9 am and left a message. He called me back about 10am from out of town but requested if he could stop by about "noon' time: and HE DID 1pm! He took one look and started taking his first of many trips to his truck and came back with a ladder and camera and found a leak at the 3 clock side of the connection. It was a very difficult repair. The steel ring holding the toilet was totally rusted out. But he had the tools in the truck . He not only had the tools in the truck he had all the parts to return the entire toilet to NEW CONDITION and rolled out at 2:45pm and I had a new toilet for HALF THE COST ANTICIPATED . I WAS STUNED. as a register professional engineer he exceeded my highest expectations . He knew what to do, how to do it, prepared to do it, and pleasant and friendly doing it. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIPE DREAMER

The next day I called as something was still leaking and he found a crack in the toilet as well as the bowl - Al had dust and signs of having been there. I bought a toilet to try & defray the costs but the two appointments cost over $800! the plumber had a fairly bad attitude and sent me some nasty texts - insinuating I had cracked the toilet the night he was first there. I would not use them and do not recommend them. Cost was same as was quoted when the plumber got the toilet - outrageous pricing and bad attitude.

Had Bubs out to fix two small leaks and prime our well pump. My mistake was letting them start…read morewithout asking for their rate or an estimate. Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

Brandon fit me in, fixed the sink quickly, and was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Bub's to anyone needing plumbing services!
