Tasting sample tray of 5 wines

One of me and my husband's favourite vineyards. It has some of the most amazing views of mountains, sunset, a lake, ample amount of outdoor seating, great selection of drinks. They have our favourite wine as well, it is semi-sweet sunset red. Their dessert wine is also delicious. We do come here every year to get a 12-bottle box for ourselves. Lately, they have more options like slushies, sangria and beer. So I can't imagine any reason for not bringing friends and family here even if they are not a fan of wine. They have an amazing servcie and hospitable staff.

Cute vineyard and great wine!! There's a large patio and pretty views of the vineyard. The inside is a little rundown, but the wine was delicious. We came with a large group and half of us got wine flights and the other half wine slushies. I thought the flights were a great deal for $15/5. Would recommend for large groups and bringing your own spread of food.

Enjoyed an overcast/rainy Sunday afternoon with some friends. The grounds were beautiful with enough seating and table umbrellas for a rainy day. Inside was packed and a little too loud for my liking so outside was best to view the beautiful mountains and enjoy the birds flying by. Whirlwind Rosé was not too sweet with just enough tart/bitterness .

Good wine and beautiful views. Enjoyed a bottle of the rosé here at sunset. There is plenty of parking here and indoor and outdoor seating. It gets busy on the weekends so get there early. You can bring your own food. Dogs are allowed outside only. They also have a food truck here sometimes.

Wine winter wonderland! cute tasting room and vineyard. I tried the red blend of Merlot and Cab. Very good. Staff are very nice. like to come back when the weather is warmer. lol

We visited on a Tuesday morning, it was a little cool and breezy, so we sat inside. There were a few other parties inside, but it was not busy. We each ordered a flight, normally the flight comes with a souvenir glass but they were out when we visited so the employee took a couple dollars off our flight. The normal price for a flight is $15 and $20 for the dessert wine tasting. My flight included 2 whites and 3 reds, I enjoyed them all but the pours were extremely small. If you don't want a flight a glass of wine is $10. You can bring food to enjoy with your wine. The scenery is beautiful, great for photo ops.

Went to this winery to celebrate my girlfriends 50th bday which turned out to be a rainy afternoon. Perfect place for groups as it has a large area inside to entertain. Just have to get there early to grab a table as it fills up quickly. I would like to go again on a beautiful sunny day and earlier in the month of September to be able to walk around the vineyard before they harvest the grapes. There's a large amount of acres and they have Portuguese wine. You can bring your own food in and purchase bottles of wine that range around $35-40 dollars depending on what you like. They have white, red and a rose wines. There's also sampling of 5 wines for $15 and you receive a Souvenir wine glass. They also have bottles of water you can purchase as well. They also have a food truck that was there if you want other food. They accommodate everyone and gets very crowded so be prepared.

Beautiful winery, well maintained grounds. Decent wine slushies. I just wished the slushy was a little bit bigger for the amount I paid. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Beautiful during the day but even better at sunset!

Came here to meet some coworkers for our version of friendsgiving. Food, wine and good people?! Yes please. We were around 15 in our group and we were able to get a few table together and sit all together. I tried their Rosé and I really enjoyed a few glasses while having awesome conversations and great shareable foods. It was a chilly fall evening so we were mostly inside. I cannot wait to come back in the warmer months to take in the views. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Gouveia Vinyards in Wallingford is absolutely beautiful. I had the pleasure to be taken on a tour of the grounds in 2018. It was a beautiful day and I was in good company during my visit. I'm a country girl at heart. I loved seeing the horses. The vineyard is so beautiful I wanted to get out and run around. I guess I had been cooped up in the city too long! I'm recommending you visit this vineyard and visit beautiful Wallingford Connecticut. I'm looking forward to a return trip even if only in my next lifetime!

Hey, beautiful hilltop location with friendly staff, and a warm and inviting space. The winds roll, tasty, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy them for a longer stay. We were partial to the Cab Sauvignon and the Vinho Tinto, but I highly recommend doing at least a couple of wine flights. There were easily a half dozen different wines we could've purchased. I really enjoyed our experience and look forward to visiting again.

Gouveia Vineyards is an excellent winery that is close to where I live. My wife and I love their wines. We visited a couple of times when we first started dating, but had not been there since. We stopped by for a visit today. We are both teachers and are off on Spring Break. Our son is still in daycare, so we decided to have a nice winery afternoon to ourselves. We went on a Wednesday and there weren't too many people there. The weather was excellent and the scenery around the vineyard is breathtaking. We each ordered wine flights and sampled about a dozen wines between the two of us. Everything was delicious! We brought some food with us (cheese, crackers, hummus, Buffalo chicken dip, fruit) and made our own charcuterie board to pair with the wines. While we were sampling the wines, we felt that each wine was more delicious than the previous wine. We ended up taking home a bottle of our favorite: Chocolate Epiphany Reserve. Although we love bringing our son with us everywhere, we are glad that he was at daycare for this particular outing. The vineyard is not an appropriate place to bring children. We saw some other families bringing kids along, and the children were getting bored and rambunctious. Going to a winery like this isn't fun if you have to chase after your children. We definitely plan on returning to Gouveia more in the future. They also own a great restaurant in town: The Library Wine Bar & Bistro. It's housed inside a historic old library building, and they pair up their wines with deliciously crafted Mediterranean dishes. We also highly recommend the restaurant.

Excellent service and the ambiance was amazing. I have a sweet tooth and was able to enjoy several sweet wines.

There were a lot of tables out in the sun or under the tent (for a hot day under the tent was best!) Depending where your facing, there are nice views of the vineyard. There was also a graduation party that reserved half the tent space. Finally, I just had to taste one of their July specials, their own blueberry pie à la mode. You had the choice of blueberry or vanilla ice cream, and I needed blueberry. It had whipped cream and blueberry compote on top also. I enjoyed every bit. It was incredible. The large wedge of their own blueberry pie was excellent. I loved the flaky crust and there was a lot more blueberry filling than a lot of other pies. I had also been eyeing another flavor on their board, and what I ate was so good that I went back up to the window for a kid size cup cold brew pb chip. The cold brew flavor was strong but balanced, and it's rare that so many flavors work together in ice cream without one getting lost. I was really impressed this was one of those rare cases where everything shined and wowed, and it really was as good a flavor as I wanted it to be. I did not go inside the farm market. I just ordered at their ice cream window and ate at one of the outdoor tables. There were several of them, as well as a few benches, and it was a nice environment. The girl at the window was super friendly and helpful too. I loved my first experience. I can't wait to go, and actually hope to for another of this month's specials! Highly recommend a visit.
