So I got it back and took it to A to Z, remembering they're a pawn shop not just a store. The service was friendly like always. I handed over the crown and wandered around while he weighed and tested it to determine purity. When they had an offer ready for me it was a lot better than the other place and closer to what I was expecting. We made the deal and I got paid in cash.
