For the 2022 Gala we decided to hire Pioneer Media and we could not have asked for more. Bryndon and his company went above and beyond our expectations! He got on conference calls, asked questions and took the time to make sure he was prepared for the evening leading up to the event. He paid close attention to detail. His turn around was fast with a quality that was so much more than what we were hoping for. Somehow, this extravagant event that we have often struggled to describe was all captured in a simple highlight video. He also quickly provided two past references that showed us their galleries and explained their experience working with him. We ended up booking Joshua along with a second photographer, videographer, & photo booth. When we met Joshua for our engagement shoot, he was very easy to talk to and fun to work with. He worked quickly and was able to direct us through the engagement shoot getting all the shots we wanted as well as ones that he thought would look good. On the day of the wedding, it was as if Joshua and his team were not even there. His camera doesn't make any shutter noises so even during quiet times during the ceremony you didn't hear him. As a matter of fact, he blended in so well that we didn't even know where he was at times. Just like at the ceremony, Joshua and his team blended into the reception taking great shots but also somehow were always around when a group wanted to take a posed shot! I personally like the fact that Tom lets you choose what style of photo strip you would like. For my company party we did the standard strip of 4 vertical photos and for our wedding we had a 4x6 print with one large photo and 3 smaller photos. After our wedding Tom put together a scrap book with all of the photos and notes people wrote to us and even printed some extra copies of photos including my husband and I. Very mixed feelings about our experience with LPS…read more Our wedding was in April of 2019 and LPS did both our photos and video. To state the positive, yes, LPS produces beautiful work with amazing quality. We recognize and acknowledge that the photos and videos are top-notch among others in this industry. In the end, we are very happy with the final deliverables. We received the last of of all deliverables (the hard drive containing all video footage) yesterday (10/9/2019), which is almost six full months after the wedding. However, regardless of the fact that it took almost half a year to receive photos and video of our wedding, this wasn't the biggest source of our frustration. The frustration mainly lived in the near total lack of communication from LPS. We understand that LPS is a large company that handles many, many clients at the same time. We also understand the painstaking process of photo/video editing. What we don't understand is LPS' failure to provide timely updates on where we are in the entire process. We feel that the very least LPS could've done was to provide monthly updates on how they were progressing with the final assets. The contract explicitly stated that certain assets would be delivered after a certain time period (i.e. 6 weeks after wedding, 10 weeks after wedding, etc). However, LPS failed to reach out during the days leading up to the final due date, to give us an update or confirmation on process. We were always the ones who had to reach out first to ask if we would receive our items on time. Therefore, we ended up always feeling left in the dark, wondering what was going on and chasing after something that couldn't be reached. Let's face it. LPS is not cheap. The prices are expected given the nature of their high quality. However, we started to question if it was really worth it (we paid nearly $8k)--to go through the long wait in radio silence & total darkness. To summarize-- PROS: High quality, friendly/professional crew on the day-of CONS: Very long wait for deliverables, lack of communication
