Ricky's ability to blend contemporary and traditional wedding themes appealed to us, and when we sat down with him for a consult, I felt he understood our wishes perfectly, considering we are a same-sex couple. Neither of us is particularly used to being posed and photographed, especially in romantic vignettes, but Ricky's coaching and suggestions felt so appropriate for the occasion, and his attention to the smallest details revealed his artistry in capturing our personalities and our relationship. In the outdoor session preceding our ceremony, Ricky was totally onboard with using local settings that are familiar and significant to us, in both natural and urban surroundings, and he approached the project as an artist constructing a scene on canvas. Throughout the brief church ceremony, Ricky was very attentive to the proceedings, and he made sure his camera was unobtrusively able to capture every important moment, including our vows and exchange of rings. At our informal reception dinner, Ricky photographed our guests in lovely candid shots, in addition to having family members pose together. Looking over the proofs, which were available in just three weeks, it was as if we were seeing our event for the first time through the observant and astute eyes of our wedding photographer. I had the opportunity to speak with John on the phone a few times before the wedding, and he was very gracious as to allow us to make a last minute adjustment to the schedule a week before the event. Action Entertainment was set-up on time and ready to start well before the ceremony. Rob and Rob were our MC and DJ. Both Robs were amazing! Rob, the DJ, had called us earlier in the week to check up on some of the song recommendations we had put in, and he made sure to chat with us again before the ceremony started to make sure everything was as planned. There were a few moments we hadn't known to plan for music (due to our poor planning, not Action Entertainments) and when we asked Rob to surprise us, he absolutely delivered! He also took guest requests in stride and had everyone dancing the whole time (like honestly, it was hard to get people to sit and eat!). Rob, the MC, was also amazing! He was so personable and fun, he had everyone up on their feet! We immediately felt so comfortable chatting with Rob and he made sure that the party kept on going! I feel terrible because I did not catch the name of the person working the photobooth, but I can tell you he was wonderfully attentive and helpful. I contact the owner, Isa, he was very disgraceful, called me blind for not been satisfied with the job done and even suggested i could read when called his attention to the refund policy on their website. The guy Isa, is hubristic and unprofessional in customer service. If you are big on quality product result, don't patronize. Mauricio was incredibly responsive and took the time to thoroughly explain their photo booth packages. The pricing was perfect, so we booked without hesitation--and the rest, as they say, is history. Our guests had an amazing experience! They enjoyed texting or emailing their photos instantly and loved using the AI and digital holiday-themed props. Stay away at all cost!…read more While attending an all age event that commissioned Above All Entertainment to take photographs, my wife and I attempted to get our photograph taken (a service we paid in advance for). We were told with extreme rudeness that we missed a cutoff time (understandable, but the way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable) and that we would not be refunded. When I asked if I could at least take a photo with the event's backdrop (which they do not own) with my own phone, the co-owner, Melissa, met me with extreme rudeness. Her colleague, Shimmy, then spewed prejudice, racist comments, curses and threatened to physically assault me. The event coordinator and security ended up intervening on my behalf to address the staff. What was otherwise a perfect event was completely ruined for myself and my entire party that I attended with (including my wife who left the event in tears). This was an absolutely horrendous experience. I urge anyone who is considering this company for any event to stay away at all cost!
