Popcorn is always fresh and the staff is very nice. I feel like this place gets a bad rep but I've never had a problem. The ticket prices are also more reasonable. SIgn up for the Frequent Movie Goers club and you can earn points to get free popcorn/drinks/tickets. Their website shows free movies for the FMG club on Friday's-Sundays @ 10 am in the fall. Went to watch the new bad boys movie ..the movie shut off 3 time for 4 to 5 minutes each time ...oh and it was all the movies that was playing ...my husband and several other people complained and was told they would rewind the movie ..they lied ... first we were told we could get a refund..then they refused saying that it would of had to happen in the first 30 minutes....also the theater was extremely warm ...as we were standing waiting for a refund or info they were still letting ppl in while other movie goers were coming up to them saying the movie they were in did not have sound ...why would you allow people to come in take their money knowing yall having technical problems....never again read more

What genius puts a movie theater right next to a Target. When I was shopping at target, I was in the need for numerous household products. I had to get toilet paper, tampons and soap. However, I was listening to these college kids talk next to me about getting snacks for the movie. I figured there was a movie theater nearby, so I looked it up and there it was. I went to see a romantic-comedy movie and had a great experience. The popcorn, the chairs, the movie, the temperature...all perfect. There were only two open seats, which made it a really fun atmosphere. There was room under my seats where I could put the stuff from Target. You'd never think twice about going to the movies. But that is different with everything going on. After calling and getting all the protocol information. I felt confident and comfortable enough to go see a movie. That movie being none other than Mortal Kombat. Which yes I did enjoy very much! Not only was the ticket five bucks because of what day it was. I had a popcorn voucher ready to redeem. So that was awesome timing. I like this theater's location, it is close to many good places (target, Applebee's, Walgreens, Starbucks, Macdonald,Ulta... Etc) you can always catch a movie and relax after doing some shopping or having a good meal. Economical choice though. read more

Celebration gives no loyalty benefits, just points that do nothing for you. K-10 is always very clean and staff are great. The popcorn is good and they typically give courteous refills. I went to the 8:00 pm showing this evening of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. When my son and I arrived at the theater the lobby area was air conditioned and felt sufficiently cool but as soon as we entered the theater the temperature was much much warmer. I went out and spoke with the manager and informed the theater was uncomfortably warm. He said he would check on it. I do not know if he actually did check on it but it stayed like a sauna through out the movie. One of the reasons I get to the theater is for the air conditioning. I have attended this theatre for many years and enjoy it immensely. I had seen an advertisement for a movie I had wanted to see on Tuesday, it's their discount movie day. I had called them to assure myself that it was a $5 movie, the person on the other end assured me it was. My brother and I arrived for the movie, he was getting the popcorn I was purchasing the tickets. The total came up to $28!! I told the cashier I had called to make sure the movie was $5, he told me there was nothing he could do. At that moment the manager came out and asked what was going on? I explained him the situation and without hesitation he comped the tickets for my brother and I. I wasn't expecting that at all. This theater is so hit and miss, I always feel a sense of dread waiting for the movie to begin. Usually, the sound is too low. There have been times when the picture hasn't been framed properly. The air in the auditoriums can at times be stuffy and thick. But this last time just killed it for me. Went to see "Super 8" and there was absolutely NO SURROUND SOUND in one of their DTS auditoriums. I left the movie to alert the management. Went back in and during the train scene there was still no surround sound. So I got my money back and went to The Rave theater in downtown Kalamazoo instead for a much better experience: larger screen, more leg room, more comfortable seats and much, much better sound. read more

I went to see Halloween tonight (which was awesome BTW) and had to listen to a BABY cry the entire movie. It was literally like a daycare had a Sunday night outing just to cheer on Michael Meyers as he butchered the town because little kids (I'm talking 3-5 years old) where running up and down the stairs the entire time. Probably my favorite movie theater around. The staff is nice, the menu is basic ( no alcohol) but they have everything you need to watch a movie. I admit the food is over priced a bit but what movie theater isnt? My favorite reason to go here is for the dialouge sticks. It is this cool device that you sticks into the armrest cup holder, and it shows you the dialouge going on in the movie. It is really great for those who are a little hard of hearing or like to use subtitles. read more

Tried to watch Aquaman. We got people having full conversations throughout the movie. Kids kicking chairs and running up and down the stairs. I dont think half the people in the theater were there to see the movie. What has happened to this place? Plus it was filthy! Never again!!! read more

This is my favorite theater in town (after they closed the Alamo/Rave). The tickets are cheaper than the competitor - Celebration. The food selection might not be as good and they don't serve alcohol but it is a nice theater that I've always found to be clean and the staff is always friendly and works hard. I've visited when the line for tickets was out the door and down the sidewalk and they have played the popular movie in open theaters just to be sure everyone who showed up gets to see it. I really miss the Alamo. Just had to leave the movie IT. It is a rated R horror movie. Which was made unwatchable. 13-15 year old kids were at a 10pm show running and screaming through the theater. No alcohol served. The manager did give us our money back. However I will never go back. It was awful. They had a security guard, but he would have had to kick out 70% of the audience. read more

I love coming here because it seems like this is the only theatre left in town that isn't charging way more than it's worth! Ticket prices are reasonable, the theatres are clean, the other movie attendees aren't usually talking during shows, the concessions aren't too expensive, and they show every current film. I went there on a whimsical excursion to this movie theater on the Month of April and the day of the twentieth, in other words, the biggest day of the year for those wishing, to engage in inhaling the plant of marijuana. The movie I saw was Super Troopers Two, starting Jay Chandrasekhar, an actor who is probably the most mediocre performer I have ever witnessed, and Kevin Heffernan a slightly overweight male who can be funny at times. I love how close it is to where I live. I also love their prices being from Ann Arbor movies are like $10, Kalamazoo 10 they have cheap prices I only pay 5.25 and they have great digital picture in the screen which is where it counts, popcorn is good. Atmosphere could use some work though, goodrich seems to go for a divy look in their lobbies. By no means is the lobby bad looking it's actually nice especially when talking about goodrich. I like it a lot over at Kalamazoo 10, I'm a regular because i love going to the movies and it's literally down the road from me. It's by no means a perfect theater if i could give it a 4.5/5 instead of a 4/5 I would. The seats are comfortable and the food is pretty good. So it's still a pretty good theater. read more
