(Every other person we emailed for a quote did the same. None came to visit, and with COVID I was cool with that.) His quote was consistent with most of the other highly rated folk we reached out to for quotes. What set him apart was his clear emails with detailed pricing. It was clear that he knew painting was expensive, and people imagine doing everything at once and think of it as all-or-nothing. His pricing model showed it was some-at-a-time. (We did go all in though :) ) He was very responsive on email and answered questions from the mundane to the esoteric with patience and clarity. He came the day before the job was supposed to start to drop off supplies and map out everything that was should happen with me and his team. His team was great, polite, and professional.
