George's worker removed an iron gate with open rails that was allowing rodents into the backyard and installed this beautiful high and hopefully rodent resistant redwood gate. George's communication leading up to the start date was very good. His written contract was well done and easy to understand. Well, I grew tired of the mismatched flooring and decided to have one floor put in throughout my home. I bought flooring through Home Depot and George, owner of GR Repair & Maintenance was recommended. I gave him a call and made an appointment and he was on time. After making the agreement and signing the contract. Prior to work starting George brought over his guy to introduce him. After the first phase, he brought over and introduced the next guy. This is an exceptional practice. It allows one to know what to expect... Back to the story... I needed sub-flooring in the room with the wood flooring. The previous owner 27 years ago (I've been in my home for 27+years), the wood floor was installed on slanted wood which I was told by the flooring people it was foundation and they would not install the floor on top of those diagonal wood planks. Well, George could have installed the sub-floor right on top of the diagonal planks I explain to him, I needed it as level as possible. George recommended pulling it all up and making it level. The work was done! The sub-flooring was installed and the work was well done. I am so pleased with not only their work. I am pleased on how they conducted themselves and how they cleaned up behind themselves. It's hard having strangers in your home. I called around to several construction companies when finally someone told me that this job is probably too small for a construction company and to try calling a handyman.
