The website is tricky to navigate because there is also a site inHauppaguge with different times. There are only 10 lockers so don't expect any to be available. there's really no place to store your belongings unless you wear a backpack while skating or unless one person sits on the side and watches all the purses, wallets and extra "stuff" (assuming you don't want to leave it in the car). Even more tricky if you own your own skates. Also the parking lot is pretty small, so leave plenty of time to find parking in the catering hall lot next door (Danfords) or in the town parking lot (a 5 min walk away)

Empire State Karate left with all but 2 that could not navigate the rink at all. The rest learned to "walk n skate" with out falling. Progress was made thanks to the helpful staff. You can get things from new laces to Gatorade. I think there might be a claw game also. A bunch of benches there to change. We used to leave our bag or sweatshirts there on busy days They have adjusted well to COVID-19 and have temperature checks and a form at entry. I appreciate that as many places do not so temperature checks at all. The gentleman working at the on-site skate shop was very friendly and helped a lot. He sized my foot and gave me 3 boots to try on. Turns out I have a wide foot according to the Reidell sizing guide and I never knew. He didn't put pressure on me to purchase immediately, but I will be back! They also sell some apparel which is cute.

The beginner coaches here are very friendly, per some of the other parents, otherwise kids are coming for the freestyle practice sessions ($25) - you can pay online or in-person (though that's slower). The two sheets are the American and Canadian ice sheets. The main lobby has some wooden benches for skaters to put on gear, but if you want a table to work as an adult, go upstairs to the "cafe-ish" and viewing areas over the rinks (which is nice). Need a few more outlets, but you can find a few to charge up your phones/laptops.
