The phone call portion was fine. The women arrived at our hotel and honked the horn and opened the trunk for our luggage. She didn't say a word to us except which road do I need to be on and the car was very dingy and smelt like cigarettes. I had to keep my nose covered because it was so bad. When we got to the dealership (she went the long way) she didn't remember to open the trunk and I had to tell her twice. She didn't thank us for the tip either. One week ago I used grab a cab to pick up medicine from Publix and return home a total of about 10 miles they charged me $40. Yesterday I used to grab a cab were the exact same trip. Exact same miles. They tried to charge me $50 this time. The only difference this time I needed to stop at gas station for lawn mower gas. No extra miles just stopping and grab a couple of gallons of gas. Then when I complained the owner I guess threatened to come help the driver remove me from the car. A friend of mine called to request a ride back home. All four of us had been drinking so no one could drive. After requesting a ride, when the driver got here, not a single call or text was placed to notify us they were here. After calling them back asking where they were, our response was "the driver showed up ten minutes ago and you weren't here" and they hung up. We called again asking for a ride and they verbatim said "call an uber, we are not helping you", and hung up. Unfortunately, there is no uber in Tifton. This company is literally the only cab company in town and they refuse to give us a ride, because THEY cannot notify THEIR customers when they are here. It is 2020, if you cannot text, call or even notify your customers you have arrived, how can you even do business? Two of my friends dont even know how they are going to make it to work tomorrow because they do not have a ride home since this company REFUSES SERVICE. Bottom line, do not go out in Tifton without a ride. This company will not pick you up if you dont wait outside in the freezing cold for them to pull up. Again, they will not notify you when they are there, and they will blame you when you miss their driver. One strike and you're out. You're stuck whereever you are, and if you miss the driver, they will talk down on you when you call them back a refuse service. This company is a complete joke. Full of butthurt people who mentally abuse people and talk down to them when they were the only option for them to get a ride home. They can only get away with this complete lack of customer service because there is no Uber, Lyft, or any other type of cab service here. I called at precisely 2:36pm on Tuesday to send for a cab but the man was rude and told me "Your phone is crap", then hung up in my face. Mind you, I am calling from a landline provided by AT&T not a cellular phone. I tried calling back because I really need a cab but he just continued picking up then hanging up in my face. Terrible customer service. I only said hello, I can only imagine what he's saying to other customers who's gotten farther. This guy is seriously hurting their business. read more
