Caulk failed prior to first heavy rain. -Slider on back of house also lacked an aluminum rain cap and caulk when payment was requested for a completed job. I called and Maris came out and caulked. No capping on slider. -"Installation includes all caulking/aluminum capping-where needed" is stated on the Maris contract. -First heavy rain 3 weeks after install I had heavy water running down the sheathing and interior foundation wall below one window where caulk failed, and wrap was catching water. -Maris paid for Servpro water remediation to dry up the water and do a flood cut after I requested it. Maris and I agreed to have Alside's warranty contractor detail and repair all the issues from my install in April 2024. Be prepared to discuss/understand permitting, municipal surveying, and inspections. Take your time and be patient--with ANY deck and fence vendor.

Finished the project on Wednesday said he'd be back on Thursday morning to get his stuff didn't show up till Thursday evening. Asked him to give me a brush finish but he didn't. Concrete job was roughed in and left to be called finished. Hopefully I'm not going to have to hire someone to take it out and start all over.

Come to find out this employee stole from multiple other customers as well! This company is sending individual employee's out to jobs with no follow up or oversight from management. This is not the owner's primary job and he is extremely unresponsive. I would advise against trusting this company.

I have been ignored presently when calling this company about the rot and deterioration of my wood deck; which was treated in 2019. Approximately a year ago, I called the company and one of their employees came out to look at the damage and was assured that it would be taken care of; since the damage had occurred after their treatment. My deck was completely fine with no rot or deterioration prior to their treatment. The construction repair employee, named Kevin, said that he would come back with the wood needed or required to repair my deck. As recent as a couple of months ago I even spoke with Ben Jensen, the owner of the company; whom also reassured me that he would honor the 25 year warranty for this problem. Now, within about the last few weeks, all that I have received from the company is a couple of e-mails from Neal, a manager, stating that the warranty does not cover any replacement of wood that has rotted or deteriorated. I have a warranty that states any wood that rots or deteriorates after the treatment would be covered under the warranty. What good is the warranty if they won't replace wood that has rotted after their treatment? My deck was in perfect condition before they treated it; as they surely wouldn't warranty the treatment if any previous rot or deterioration was present! I have also filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney general and the Better Business Bureau.
