Aside from a couple of…read morereliable caregivers, we have had poor quality of care exacerbating an already stressful situation. There does not appear to be a matching process or vetting. There has not been alignment between caregivers, staffing manager, and care manager causing confusion, multiple miscommunications, poor continuity of care and additional stress. Calendars (if we get an updated one) are never accurate and there does not appear to be accountability for who is responsible for what. My family has had almost no peace of mind during this difficult time and I have spent countless hours managing problems with both caregivers and Keys leadership multiple times a week. Two night caregivers have slept through multiple call button rings, two caregivers have no showed, one caregiver walked around the house all night keeping everyone awake. After asking the care manager all this week to verify coverage for this weekend, another no show tonight - Christmas weekend. These are only a few examples of problems that have occurred in a short period of time. Why not fire The Keys? Easier said than done. While my parents have me advocating for them, it's sad to think about other vulnerable elderly folks that need support and are being taken advantage of by what appears to be incompetent leadership and a poor for profit business model. For the amount of money Keys charges, service should be seamless. Do better. You are certainly not helping older adults live well in their own homes or improving their quality of lives. We know that stress and lack of sleep exacerbate medical problems. Sadly, The Keys has succeeded in accomplishing this.

When I say half ass/partial cleaning let me vividly explain. My house was fairly clean before the cleaners came in. When I reached out to Tracie via Yelp I was requesting upkeep monthly services, nothing major, sweep, mop, vacuum, windows, most importantly dust!!! I feel like the cleaners walked into my house (I was at work), looked around and said "Easy money" because it wasn't much to clean per se, I needed housekeeping, literally. I feel completely scammed. So when I say half ass, here's what I mean. The workers wiped the refrigerator off, but didn't clean the outside of the ice maker (see pics). The cleaners took the trash out in all of the bathrooms and bedrooms did NOT sweep around the trash cans. They cleaned the inside of the toilet but didn't have the decency to clean the actual toilet seat. I left it up and it was still dirty. I shut the door to use the bathroom and noticed all the same dust and dirt in the corners of the bathroom that were there before I left that morning (see pics). They cleaned the shower but didn't bother touching the tub. I fell asleep on the couch the night before and left the pillows as they were. When I came home they were the exact same way!! There was still crumbs on the counter from my toast I made that morning. I swiped my hand across the counter ... yup ... hasn't been clean! I saw vacuum lines in my master bedroom but none on the steps. Lastly, Tracie Clean chargers $5 per window. No problem! Great. That $5 per window does not include the window sills ( that was not explained in the initial consult) so they were left filthy. My cleaning was initially supposed to be for 3 pm. Tracie texted me around 1 and said they finished a job early and wanted to come and start mine. Great! Around 5 when I was on my way from work she texted and said done ... here's the invoice. I'm thinking wow! 4 hours of cleaning. It's gonna be spotless. Nope! It was the same damn way I left it that morning. I was so disappointed! I reached out to Tracie and said, Tracie I want to share this with you before I share it with Yelp. Your workers came in and did close to nothing. They didn't even fake me out by moving anything around. Everything on the counter in my bathrooms and kitchen is the same. They literally "wiped" around everything." She said that was unacceptable. They were "new workers and in training". She said she would personally come out to clean and correct everything. She seemed apologetic but didn't come out to correct anything as she said she would. I feel like I've been scammed completely. Never mind those two 5 star reviews. I'm not even sure if they're real. I've never stirred my followers wrong, so ... here's the real deal!!

It was my stupid ass fault that I paid her before I looked at the work... She charged me $400 For a detail clean on a 900 foot square apartment and I didn't even get a regular house cleaning... She sent people to do it, she didn't do it herself and when I asked her to come back and look at the work that wasn't done she said she would, she scheduled a day to come back then didn't show and has been ghosting me ever since... It's been 2 weeks since she cleaned and she still hasn't come over or she refuses to video call me... I feel like she ripped me off 400 bucks and now I have to pay somebody else to do the work that she didn't do... If I were you I would keep looking to find somebody more responsible and more professional someone who actually knows how to clean...this girl is not it

My problem: Wife was seeing her former lover who she was romantically involved with before our marriage. The married man even met and spent time with her family before our marriage. She continued the relationship with him during our marriage by texting messages to each other, meeting him, and lied to me about 2 different girls' 3-day 2-night trips. However, the trips were probably to his cabin for 3 days and 2-nights. She denied and lied to me about their continued contacts. All this took place during our marriage without my knowledge. I trusted my wife. I was the last to know. When the lies came up during counseling, my ex-wife told Sharon the issue was that I violated her privacy. My final meeting with Sharon, she discussed how and why my wife needed another outside relationship. How I did not understand my ex-wife. How the problem was me. My husband is a patient at Biltmore Assisted Living facility & I am very pleased with the quality…read moreof care that he has received while a resident. My husband suffers from dementia. The director of the facility, Traci Victor, has given me access to her phone number, and the communication is great. She prefers communication via texting, as it allows for faster response time. The facility is on the smaller side, with 10 residents calling the property home. However, because of the smaller patient size, it allows for a more favorable patient to staff ratio. The kitchen is an open concept adjacent to the main game/TV room. Food is prepared daily, good quality & nutritious. The portions may appear small, but residents are mostly elderly & that fits with their lifestyle. My husband has his own private room with an accompanying bathroom (consisting of a toilet & sink) The shower is across the hall, which is appropriate for safety & assistance. There is a very nice "Sun Room" facing a very large backyard. I have seen residents enjoying said room, & meals are done with socialization with other residents. My husband prefers his meals to be served on the couch in front of the main TV using a table with wheels. Medications are coordinated & dispensed. I feel blessed to have Dr Talisa Adkison MD, reviewing his needs monthly. She is truly a saint & spent more than 30 minutes interviewing him. Her office staff is also exemplary . If I need to call, someone will pick up, which is convenient for me, as I reside out of State. Dr Adkison will either respond herself, or direct staff of her intentions. Dr is the physician for most of the other residents. Holidays are festive, & Traci has the facility decorated to reflex the season. Traci has given special interest to my husband during Christmas & his birthday. He is a fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team, & she was thoughtful enough to gift him a hat of said franchise for his birthday. He has spoken of this gift frequently, & it gives him much comfort & pleasure. This is of much amazement on my part due to his dementia & short term memory loss. I highly recommend Biltmore Assisted Living for loved ones experiencing issues with memory loss & cognitive decline. The facility is a thorough, safe & clean environment. They have preformed a difficult job to a high standard.

To have my mom pass away in a place where she was never lonely, felt loved and respected, was a gift. For that our family is grateful. However, I like transparency. It shows integrity and character. Mike, the co owner is very friendly at first but I feel he was intentionally trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Regarding deposit money, we would have placed our mom there anyway, so there was no reason to be deceitful. Make sure to read contract carefully and get a copy as soon as you sign. I did not get a copy and I noticed 500.00 move in fee and $500.00 administrative fee. We weren't charged those nor had I ever seen them on my contract. I think the fees were typed in after the fact. Mike, (Mihai Ilioi) the co-owner, knows that placing a loved one in an assisted living home is an emotional time for family. Many of us aren't thinking as clearly. So Read the Contract carefully, take your time, do not be rushed and get a copy right then and there. You have the right to make an informed choice.
