This is literally the worst dry cleaning job I've ever seen in my life. I'm not even sure how somebody could pass this off as acceptable. I pull stuff that looks better out of the laundry. I dropped off a brand new shirt, still in the packaging. I asked for medium starch in preparation for a wedding. There are wrinkles everywhere. I brought in a baseball hat and was told it would take a few days. I was pleasantly surprised when he called me the next day. The hat looks brand new, and all stains were removed, and the hat was in perfect shape. The price for the cleaning the hat was very reasonable, and the overall experience was great. I am very happy I brought in 6 shear drapes for Gabriel to dry clean. My first impression was that he is a kind man who takes pride in his work. That impression has never changed. He clearly explained the cleaning process so that I knew what to expect. To my surprise, he called me a couple of days later to let me know how the cleaning process was progressing and also to make a choice if I wanted him to "re-do" my drapes because some stubborn dirt remained. I then got a second call to say that my job was complete and ready for pickup, earlier than I expected. All of the above is to say that Gabriel delivers more than he promises. Even though he "re-did" my job, he did not charge extra. Other less honorable cleaners would have tried to charge extra. Gabriel's prices are more than reasonable. His work is absolutely great. James at Oxford Cleaners Can't thank you enough for helping us with our father's uniform. You're a gem. After my father's recent passing we needed to get his uniform suits cleaned and pressed. The place we originally selected promised us a swift return on the items. However upon arrival to drop everything off, they said we had misinformed. They would not be able to accommodate our request within the necessary timeframe. To make matters worse they weren't even willing to help us find another place to help us. So I started making calls to cleaners across the valley. To no avail. That's when James at Oxford Cleaners stepped in to save the day. He was so accommodating. So sincere and so understanding about the need for urgency in this situation. While I understand that circumstances don't always allow for things, I feel as though in situations such as these that extra bit of attention is necessary. Life can be unpredictable, We all know that. When situations like this arise that are unexpected.... It's really nice when businesses rally to assist. Knowing that there are people like James out there who are willing to go out of their way to help out in times of need. I called after leaving the shop to see if he would be interested in matching the price but apparently he has plenty of work and does not care to take on new clients. Dry Cleaners are one of those businesses that you never know what you will walk into. It can be shady and dodgy, with some foreign lady that shouts at you or at an imaginary co-owner - you just never know. This place, on the other hand, looks professional and they act professional. This gives me peace of mind, and I chose this establishment due to their excellent reviews from my fellow yelpers. So far so good. But I do think they are a bit pricey. I don't dry clean that often to know what the going rate is, but it was more than I estimated. It could be worth it though, its not cheap being on top. read more
