This man could not speak to me without a cynical tone. He asked me many questions that had absolutely nothing to do with my health, or a tetanus shot; he asked about my profession, he stated that I bounce around allot in jobs, he pried into what I did at my previous job and why I left, he then made assumptions about my health insurance, when I told him he was wrong he looked at me like I was an idiot and told me to "listen carefully this time" and then repeated himself. When he took my weight he said it loud enough for the whole office to hear and said I looked like I was that weight and he could have guessed. I'm all for casual conversation, these questions would have been fine if it was not for the cynical tones, eye rolling and better than thou additude. After taking my height he asked if he got the same height that I think I am, I told him he was off, he told me he was "close enough". After his verbal questionnaire I finally received my tetanus shot. Only to find a few days later when my bill arrives that he received $120 from me to ridicule my personal life. They charged me this money not for the shot but for the doctors visit. This man was paid over $100 to get information from the that I could have filled out on a piece of paper and a total of 15 minutes of his time to ask me verbally and make small talk. I called their office asking about this charge and they stated the doctor must be paid for his time.

So today my husband and I scheduled our appointments back to back. His was at 2pm, mine at 3pm. We were both here on time. My husband 15 min early, and I was 30 minutes early. Well it is currently 3:40 and I have yet to be seen by the doctor and my husband is still here waiting. I understand covid makes things a little slower, but this is unacceptable! I've thought about switching Drs for a while now but this has solidified my decision. Unacceptable to keep a patient waiting almost 45 minutes and my poor husband who has been sitting here since 2pm (it's currently 3:45). At least check-in within 15 minutes to let me know you're running really behind allowing me the option to leave!!

Now, he told me this w/o even examining me! 4 months later I went to Tufts Eye center, I had SEVERE inflammation, which caused irreversable nerve damage. I had to have eye drops made from my blood and use them every 2 hrs for 6 months, plus steroids and another eye drop. I could not go out in the sun. I had to close my business because of the eye drops regimen and extreme burning sensation. The worse part, 4 days after the Ophtalmologist at Tufts gave me the bad news I had an appointment with Dr Z that same week. Dr Z actually told me MY EYES WERE PERFECT!!! I can't see well enough to drive , Dr Z said I don't need glasses because my eyes are PERFECT. He didn't even see the PCO that is common after cataract surgery. Boston told me I most definitely must wear glasses to drive and when in the sun. Dr Z's lack of after care has cost me my job, my quality of life all because he didn't do his job! oh the eye drops made from my blood cost $500.00 a month, must be frozen. I take 1 small vile out at a time because there are no preservatives, so when I go out I have to bring a cooler LOL!! Please don't let him do any surgery. on you or someone you love. His receptionist won't give me my last appointments notes. The one that says I have perfect vision....everything was so blurry, he should not be practicing! They practically force you to have an eye image done, that you are required to pay about $50 for - out of pocket as they refuse to submit to your insurance and do not provide an itemized bill that explains the charge. My prior eye practitioner did these images as part of their standard eye exam, with no additional cost. Instead of working with you and your insurance company when submitting the claims, they submit codes that ensure that they get the maximum payment, regardless of whether you have coverage or not. My husband and I made appointments for Routine annual eye exams, which are covered by our insurance at 100% with no copay required. His office billed the appointments as specialist office visits, and submitted an extra charge for measurement of refraction. When I called the office to request them to reconsider how it was coded, I had to leave messages and never received calls back. I sent emails and again, no response. When I finally spoke to a person after the 4th call, they said they would speak to the doctor and call me back. NEVER HAPPENED. So this visit, which should have been covered at 100%, cost me over $250 out of pocket. This office does not care about patients. It is just a money grab. We will NEVER return. Find somewhere else.

I had told her about some neck issues I was having and she really dug into that area, in addition to my lower back (which I've been having issues but never mentioned). I think she could tell as she was feeling for tenseness and such. This place is more of reflexology/thai massage type place so more use of other body parts to massage (elbows, forearms, etc...) not just fingers. They also had the pole for walking on your back if you're into that and request it.
