One Star -- This Dental Office Is Dangerous and Deeply Unprofessional If I could give zero stars, I would. Grace Dentistry has repeatedly failed my children, not only in dental care but in basic human decency and professionalism. Parents, especially those with young children, stay far away from this place. First incident: After my son had a filling done at Grace Dentistry, he experienced constant bleeding all weekend. We called the office in a panic, looking for help. But we couldn't even get through to Dr. Grace. Instead, her receptionist -- with zero medical training -- decided it "wasn't serious enough" and told us there were no appointments. I ended up taking my son to another dentist just to stop the bleeding. We returned to Grace later to show the pictures and explain what happened -- but the damage was already done. Second incident: My daughter had a silver crown placed, and a sharp piece was sticking up. I told the receptionist this was dangerous -- she could cut her cheek or tongue. Again, I was told there were "no appointments." I asked: who decides what's a dental emergency? The receptionist made it clear she does -- not the dentist. I drove my daughter straight to the office, where a different dentist -- not Grace -- immediately fixed the issue. Third and final straw: I made an appointment in person for both kids to get their teeth cleaned. I confirmed it face-to-face in the office. I took time off work, pulled my kids from school, showed up on time -- only to be told it was canceled because I didn't confirm via text. Are we really canceling confirmed appointments now over a missed text message? The response: "That's just how it is." No accountability. No flexibility. Just a complete lack of respect for people's time. But the most unacceptable act? Dr. Grace sent letters directly addressed to my 7-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son to inform them that she would no longer be their dentist. Not to me -- their parent. A dentist who thinks it's appropriate to send rejection letters to elementary school children should not be in practice, period. This office is reckless, dismissive, and unsafe. The receptionist plays gatekeeper to medical care, denying access even in clear emergencies. The dentist is nowhere to be found when problems arise. And now, they've crossed a line by directly targeting children with official correspondence. Grace Dentistry does not care about your children. They care about control, convenience, and excuses. If you ever find yourself in a real dental emergency -- don't expect this office to show up for you. They didn't show up for us.

My first time visiting this Dentist office Jackie, Sahara, Dr. Travers, and staff were sweet and amazing with my daughter. I look forward to coming back soon.

Do not come here if you want to be told the day of a dental procedure you cannot stay with your child, but have to wait up front.

She explained the process in a way that made it easy to understand, walked us through what recovery would look like, and made sure we felt completely comfortable with the post-procedure exercises. She emphasized that the decision was 100% ours to make, based on her expert recommendations, and we never felt pressured. When she took him back for the frenectomy, we were nervous -- but when she returned, he wasn't even crying. In fact, he looked instantly relieved, which gave us so much peace of mind. The precision of the laser she used clearly made a difference, and thanks to her guidance and our consistency with the stretches, his recovery went really smoothly. The entire office was warm and welcoming. The nurses were sweet, and the space is decorated in such a fun, kid-friendly way. A week after his procedure, when we came in for a follow-up, Dr. Chan even took a photo of him in his cute little outfit to share on her office's social media. That small gesture made the experience feel even more personal and thoughtful. Highly recommend Dr. Chan to any parent looking for a provider who is both professional and compassionate. We felt seen, supported, and most importantly, our baby is doing so much better now.

Their waiting room is terrible, zero toys, a few plastic chairs - it is not a good environment for children to start out when they are nervous for the dentist. I went recently with my 2.5 and decided it would be my last visit with them - During the exam I was told by one of the female dentists (who was very rushy and unfriendly) that my 2.5 year old son had 4 cavities total, two of which required pulpectomys and that he should be fully sedated for his fillings. I was extremely uncomfortable with putting my young kid to sleep so I decided to consult a different dental office. The other dentist was patient and kind, he looked throughly at my son's teeth. He informed me that he only has 2 cavities and that they could be taken care of easily (no pulpectomy needed). I asked him if he needed to be sedated and he said, "absolutely not." He said he would never want to sedate a young kid for only 2 cavities, when they can easily be done in the office with laughing gas. I honestly feel like the dentist here was just trying to make extra money off me. Why sedate my child and do a full pulpectomy when he didn't need it?!? Do you research before you come here because you may be paying way more for unnecessary treatments.

Dr. Maurer is amazingly kind and caring and he is a great dentist. A little about the office (I just copied from my review of Dr. Olen): Unfortunately they didn't get the giant flat screen TV's till I was too old to go there, but they are great for keeping kids entertained while in the dentist chair. They even have grape flavored gloves! The technicians are the nicest women around - as is the office staff. They were always willing to work me in in an emergency.

My son had a tooth where his gum line was completely recessed that I was worried about and my regular dentist isn't pediatric. I called some other pediatric dentist from yelp and they were 2 months out on appts. I got an appt here for the next day. The office staff was GREAT! They are so nice. Their forms are easy to complete online. They send appt reminders via text so very easy to work with. I took my son first because of the concerns I had and they took him back without me. Remember he is only 4. He came back out super happy and had no issues getting x-rays and a cleaning. I had to schedule an appt to have the tooth pulled. I then made that appt for a month later as well as a cleaning appt for his twin sister for the following week. Again they took her back and did x-rays and cleaned her teeth without me and she was great. So now both my kids love the dentist. They get a toothbrush, they get a toy, they love this place. Now my daughter is upset that her brother "gets to go to the dentist today" and she doesn't. Today was my sons appt to have his tooth pulled and I had tears in my eyes because he was so excited to go and I knew he was going to have to get the needle in his gums and would be traumatized by the dentist from now on. To my pleasant surprise, he got his tooth pulled and still loves the dentist! He wants to go back to have another tooth pulled ‍. Overall I am very happy with this place so far. Also they had a Bible in the waiting room which was a pleasant surprise to me given the times we are in. I def recommend this place for small children.
