We switched to this new dentist and I'm very impressed. We didn't wait more than a few minutes before they took the kids back for their cleaning. They both got x-rays where they did find an issue with a cracked tooth on my son. The doctor showed me the two options on how to correct it and what can happen if we let it be. He showed me with 3D images on his computer along with a model of teeth and gums that helped me clearly understand what was happening and why. That alone was impressive! I appreciate the time they took to explain everything to me. They also have reward points for the kids with little credit cards the kids can swipe to collect their points. Took my son recently for some fillings and Dr Ryan and the assistants did amazing with him. From check in to check out the whole process went smoothly and my son had a very positive experience. I can't stress enough how important it is for children to have good experiences at the dentist because I've seen time and time again how that can set the tone for their future dental visits into adulthood. We had been a patient for 4 years. My son is autistic and many of his needs were not being met, he asks them not to use the bright lights and they ignore him and wonder why he has a melt down. Early on the staff was kind and gentle, but more recently they just seem too harsh, I miss the old staff. Several months ago they were pressuring us to put him under to remove 4 baby teeth. They kept labeling him as difficult but in some cases that wasn't true. He was very good at taking x-rays and one time he couldn't complete it due to his tiny mouth where it just didn't fit. Yet Dr Chan was trying to say he's difficult. Many of the doctors pressured us to have him sedated because he had shark teeth and it was implied that the baby teeth wouldn't fall out and said there would be overcrowding and it would be a problem. Only one doctor didn't quite say that and that was the male dr, he did still want us to put him under. I got a second opinion and was told not to worry the baby teeth would fall out and we just monitor. So fast forward to today some fell out already and it appears to be doing well. When we were going to do the surgery they kept upping the price, first it was 1k then it was 2k, who knows how much it would have gone up if we had it done. I would advise everyone to get a second opinion before doing any surgery on a 5 yr old. The whole experience felt gross and I'm glad I moved to a different office. They still owe me money so hopefully I get it back. At this point I don't even care about the money cause I would never trust them with my child's safety. read more

Even in emergency situations this office is awesome- after a severe front tooth trauma, Dr Chan was able to get us in immediately and save and restore my daughter's tooth. This is the best pediatric dental office I've taken my kids to. This office has done a good job hiring the right people which makes visiting that much more pleasant. The communication is awesome so it's almost impossible to miss an appointment. The assistants are patient and kind and so is the dentist. So far I've taken three of my kids and I appreciate the how both assistant and dentist give feedback on the how the kids are doing. Recently my 6 year old needed 4 baby teeth extracted and the front girls got us an appointment within days. When she had the teeth extracted the procedure took a total of 30 minutes. Dr. Ryan and his assistant were very productive and patient and made my little girl's experience a good one. read more

Our insurance changed at some point and we tried a dentist office that uses super hero gimmicks to attract patients. Needless to say, we were not satisfied with the "drive thru" service. We were happy when our insurance changed back and we returned to using Dr Chan's office. The staff is always friendly, helpful and personable. They know your kids names and treat you like family. A couple of weeks ago, my 4 year old chipped his tooth. I called the after hours line, and within 10 minutes Dr. Neek called me to find out what happened and gave me advice. She had me text her photos to assess the current situation and made me feel at ease that it wasn't an emergency issue at that time. The next day, I took my son in for an X-ray to ensure no damage was done to the permanent tooth, and made an appointment for a procedure to repair the tooth. I initially had doubts about putting my little one through the composite procedure, but Dr. Neek explained everything to me clearly, and made me feel comfortable that fixing the chipped tooth was the best thing for my son. She is the kindest and most gentle pediatric dentist I've ever met. She spoke to my son on his level and kept him calm. Today could not have gone more perfectly. This was his first time getting numb and he got through this procedure because of how amazing Dr. Neek was with him. Patience, patience, patience is what I have been with this office. First of all the staff is great with kids but the front desk is a different story. The front desk is a mess! They absolutely don't know what they are doing. The younger girls answer the phones and then pass it on to the older ladies that are super passive aggressive! They don't let costumers talk and constantly talk over you. My kids got procedures done. I got a second opinion because I felt there were services that my kids didn't even need. Example, nitrous oxide. They insisted on laughing gas and sedation for my child when all he needed was general numbing for the procedure but they kept pressure me multiple times after I told them we didnt need it. Is NO, hard to understand?? The dentist insisted on my child getting fillings when he didnt even have cavities. Upon check out they took my credit card and told me they would send me a receipt. That was in September. After calling to request it again they finally sent it . Looking over our bank/credit statements there was no charges for these procedures so I called the office so they can check and it turns out they never charged me! If I wasnt a honest person then I wouldn't have mentioned this to them. They clearly don't know what they are doing! This office is basically out for your money, beware! I swear bonnie and cheryl have the same overly, passive aggressive attitudes. Don't belittle me and make customers feel stupid! Unfortunately for my kids we will not be returning to this office. I'm quite disappointed on how they answer phone calls, bill's, and that they dont give straight answers. But of course that's because the front desk doesn't know what their doing! read more
