The food is among the best Chinese that I have ever had anywhere. I don't mind that is mostly takeout, but somewhere on the online ordering and payment I was charged a 15% tip. For a guy to hand me a bag and then a courtesy fee for paying online instead of having the guy with the bag take my money. That sucks guys. read more

Let me start by saying that I probably have a refined palate. Having lived in a lot of different states/cities and living in NYC for over 20yrs having access to many different cuisines, I do know my Chinese food. Christmas Eve, 2024 a friend and I stopped here for take out. I ordered the General Tso's chicken, Cheese wontons with white rice and my friend got sweet n sour chicken. I was so excited as I had not had chinese food since moving her in June (unless I cooked it at home) I chose this spot b/c they seemed to be packed. We waited inside about an hour for our food, they were very busy. Inside is small but clean. Finally our food was done and we headed home, about a 4 min drive. Once home I dug in into my cheese wontons, they were good but I was disappointed I didn't get any sweet and sour dipping sauce (which is usually a staple for this) My friend shared some of his. I took my first bite of my General Tso and it was just bland. No spice at all, no taste at all. The rice had a weird smell/after taste to it that I could not pin point. The staff was very friendly, ordering was easy. But the food lacked flavor. Sadly I probably won't be back here. Sorry guys. read more

Very modest settings, but the best Chinese food in Columbia. This was the third Chinese restaurant we've tried in Columbia, we were afraid we were going to have to drive to Franklin for Chinese. But this place made the grade. The two Chinese restaurants on Trotwood have inedible meat, fat string together by breaded gristle. They're a waste of space. Columbia has some mighty bad restaurants, but this one is going to work for us. read more

Ordered Tarter sauce with the Fried Shrimp, confirmed over the phone that they served Tarter Sauce because I would have not ordered the Fried shrimp if they didn't have Tarter Sauce (would have ordered Somthing different) got cocktail sauce. My husband and ordered for take out from here today. My husband has ordered their food to be delivered, through Doordash, to his work several times. He kept raving over it, so I told him I need to try it. We got their House Lo Mein, Happy Family and Hot & Sour soup. Delicious! Best we've ever had! So, I'm only giving one dish 4 stars, because I've had a couple other things I didn't really care for. Lo mein is pretty mushy and Mongolian beef was ok with too much greasy sauce and such. BUT, if you don't like overly sauced dishes they have a solution. If you enjoy spicy noodles with a curry tinge the Singapore Chow Mei Fun is damn tasty. It's the only thing I get from here now and it's pretty fire. Hope you give it a try and enjoy it. read more

You'd think Columbia was large enough to have at least ONE decent Chinese Restaurant. Nope, not even close. Just tried to eat our Grace order.. Hard to tell if ingredients were spoiled, or just old. Spicy dishes were not spicy in the least. Noodles & wontons were old and overcooked as if they were out on a buffet line too long. Got the impression whoever was preparing dishes had never had the dish they were making.. so they didn't know how it was SUPPOSED to look/taste. Ended up just throwing the meal away. At least it wasn't too pricey. Still, throwing away a nearly $50 order is disappointing. Bottom line, if you've ever enjoyed good Chinese anywhere else in the country.. don't waste time/money ordering Chinese in Columbia. :-/ read more

Grossed us out so we tried taking it back for a refund and was sent away because "there's nothing wrong with it". Beware when ordering online. There was an extra charge once I arrived to pick up my order not to mention they had a question about my order and instead of calling and asking they waited until I arrived to pick it up the. Proceeded to prepare the dish they had a question about while the rest of my order sat there. So everything was cold except the one dish I had to wait on. They should correct their online system instead of charging the customer after their order is placed and paid for. read more

So I will be generous and give this 5 star because I really found the food to be excellent. The portions were generous and quality was top notch for what it is , (take out), and price very fair. I say generous because the place looks subpar , in and out. You sure won't go there for the shining customer service either . We have tried several dishes from their large menu and all have been good. Tonight, I had the House Special Fried Rice. I had brown rice instead of white, it had great flavors and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Hot and Spicy Shrimp - lots of great flavor and some heat. This is the second time he has had it - definitely recommends this to anyone wanting a spicy shrimp dish. You can order it through several different websites for delivery or pickup. Best Chinese in Columbia. I judge a joint based on three factors: pork fried rice, sesame chicken, and pork egg rolls. Grace does all these just-right. So many places pass off rice with some soy sauce and egg as "pork fried rice," but Grace gets it - lots of flavor and goodies. Sesame Chicken must have the right balance of sugar and vinegar (most places skimp on the vinegar). Once again, Grace nails it. Pork egg rolls were flavorful, not soaked in grease, and not stale. Don't be put off by the shabby building and sketchy location. Go for it. read more

Where to start? I decided to try their food bc I haven't ate here in years. I should have just left there after I couldn't understand the guy taking my order and he couldn't understand me. We pushed thru and I figured the food had to be good bc the phone was ringing off the hook and the 2 other workers was really busy. Nope my rice was just that...plain, no vegetables and I'm going to assume they forgot how to fry rice bc it was hardly fried. I could taste the grease tho. LOL. So you spend 20$ and choice of Rangoon or egg rolls. I chose Rangoon (bad idea) it was pretty much fried crust with a dab of filling. I enjoyed the chicken on the stick. I was very disappointed in the beef fried rice that I ordered here tonight. I have never eaten fried rice that doesn't have vegetables in it, only onions. Vegetables, carrots and peas, and egg is a staple in fried rice. I have eaten here several times and normally enjoy it. But this dish was very disappointing!! The only reason I am giving Grace Chinese 4 stars is because they have the best Chinese food my husband and I have had in the 9 months we have lived in Tennessee. Coming from Seattle, the Asian food options have been disappointing to say the least. They may have the best Chinese food we have found, but the eating establishment itself is dirty and disgusting!! It is clear that the people who eat food from here only do takeout. I spotted 3 spiders at our table, 2 living and one dead. There were no napkins, filthy tables, and no sauces. The gentleman who greeted us at the counter had pretty horrific customer service skills as well. All that being said, the food is good!!! read more
