I can't believe it's taken me 4 years to not only do research on Amanda and her scam of a business…read morebut to write this review. I wish I did my research before getting a puppy through her. Four years ago for Christmas my family got me a so called maltipoo puppy through Amanda. With the amount it cost for him and to fly him out we were expecting a true breeder quality puppy. Quite the contrary. First off, we immediately made an appointment with a local vet after picking up our puppy. Turns out he had coccidia and giardia. The vet also mentioned that our puppy had an extreme case of malocclusion, which is a misalignment in the teeth. Our vet went on and said that this can cause future issues for him as he gets older. Not what you want to hear if you're supposedly purchasing from a breeder. When I notified Amanda about the giardia and coccidia, she normalized it and said "they all do" from the stress of flying. Didn't really make sense but it wasn't anything life threatening and our poor pup was feeling better in a week. But the way she responded then stopped responding after that interaction was a complete red flag. From there, our pup changed colors COMPLETELY. Which is understandable since he had a dark brown puppy coat and cream/white undercoat. But we were told he was going to be a toy sized maltipoo with a max weight of 8 lbs but he turned out to be 12 lbs. Even that was okay with us. But what I came to realize is the amount of behavioral and temperament issues our puppy had. He became aggressive and possessive at an early age. We invested in several trainers and spent a good amount of money and he continues to show these behaviors. The last trainer he worked with, who is very well known, shared that this is common in backyard breeders. DO NOT at any cost by from Amanda! She's a complete scam and she knows it! That's why she keeps changing the name of her business and town she works in. She was even on the local news a few years ago. If you want to take the breeder route there is a reason why her prices are cheaper than other breeders. Pay the additional amount and purchase from a real breeder if that's what you're looking for because you will not get a breeder quality dog from Amanda.

I can't even give this woman a 1 star, if I had to give her anything it would be a negative 5…read more For $600.00 was was getting a multipoo. I had my dogs DNA done. So much for a multipoo. My dog is half poodle, a quarter Chihuahua, and. Quarter sports type dog like a springer spaniel. I love my dog dearly, but I was definitely lied to and she is a very deceitful individual. Watch out for her and her puppy mill. Do your research.

I recently had a privilege of working with Becky Demastus at Snickersdoodles. The experience from…read moreA to Z was an amazing one. She gave us an amazing F1B Standard Doodle (Rusty), who is already making our home, his own. First and foremost, Becky is a business woman and an entrepreneur, but having said that, the way she treats the puppies (with love, tenderness, care) you would never know this is a business for her, rather it's more of a passion. Becky does an amazing job ensuring her puppies go to a stable and loving home. She does everything she can to provide as much information to the owners (via YouTube, e-mail, etc.). She sends the puppies home to the new owner with whole bunch of educational materials AND she makes the transition very easy. Becky made it easy for my family and I to start loving our Rusty and knowing exactly what his needs our without us having to do our own research. I would highly recommend Becky for anyone who is looking into owning one of these amazing Goldendoodles. Thanks so much for everything you've done Becky.

Becky had so many resources for us as we brought home our new baby. He was so easy to crate train and immediately learned how to go potty outside. He has been the absolute BEST dog we've owned! We knew right away we picked a stellar breeder!! I highly recommend Snickersdoodles for your new addition to your family!

Dog is chipped & proof of chip & owner attached below. As soon as the owner(who is out of the country currently) found out Charlie her King Charles Spaniel was missing she did everything possible to find her furbaby & found out this rescue had her dog. Unfortunately, this rescue even went as far as have her daughter prove ownership of Charlie before finally breaking the news that Charlie had been rehomed 2 days prior & had "new owners" now as the "rescue" put it. The rescue refused to call the new owners of Charlie & explain the situation & remedy it. Why?? I'm sure the new owners would not feel right keeping a very loved member of someone else's family. And on top of all of this, Charlie's owner Deborah is a breast cancer survivor & Charlie was with her through her battle. Do the right thing & bring Charlie back to his rightful home.

For a lot of reasons, cocker spaniels became the breed of choice (not yappy, but still small) and we were referred to the Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Austin/San Antonio by a friend with a great spaniel. The Cocker Rescue puts the dogs in a foster home right away, which means less exposure to shelter illnesses and more exposure to families and other dogs. They bring the available dogs to weekend meet-ups (mostly at Petsmarts around Austin) each week, and you can meet cute dogs. If you like them, you can bring them home for a sleepover. If it doesn't work out, you can return them to the Cocker Spaniel rescue. It took us a few months to find the perfect dog for us, but we could not have a more perfect dog. The Cocker Rescue was really helpful start to finish. I told them I wanted a small "buff" (blonde) spaniel about 1 year old and they delivered. Before going to a breeder, give the Cocker Rescue a try. They get beautiful dogs and puppies and these dogs need homes! I'm posting a picture of my dog and another beautiful dog I wanted, but was leaving for a vacation the next day so i couldn't get her. These dogs are beautiful!
