She is very sweet and easy to work with. She cooperated with any changes I made and worked with my vision to create the perfect wedding. After our several phone conversations, my mother and I went to the studio in person. Here we were able to see various centerpieces and card cages in person. I provided various photos for what I wanted in my bouquets and center pieces. When my flowers were delivered on my wedding, I was speechless. They were absolutely GORGEOUS. Instead of offering help or ideas, she abruptly told us that we needed to "know what we want." We were taken aback by her tone and explained that we were hoping for guidance. After all, she is the flower expert. Rather than assisting, she continued to be curt and unhelpful. What made this especially upsetting is that we have shopped here before and always received kind, thoughtful service. Today was the complete opposite. There was no empathy, no professionalism, and no attempt to help customers who were simply trying to honor a deceased loved one. We ultimately left without flowers and with a very bad taste in our mouths. Someone with this level of poor manners and lack of compassion should not be interacting with customers, especially in a business that serves people during emotional moments. Hiring Shirley as our day coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had…read morea big wedding with 250 guests and I was anxious all the way up to the day of the wedding, but I was surprised by how much fun we ended up having at our wedding. I would say one big reason is because of Shirley who was there with us every step of the day. I knew I wanted a day of coordinators who are not only bilingual, but also know the Chinese wedding customs. We had many Chinese guests and family members who did not speak English, and this was the first wedding of parents from both sides. I wanted to make sure we have a good time, and our parents are also well taken care of since we will be too busy to tend to them. We had all our vendors booked before hiring Shirley so we booked the classic package. For this package, Shirley started working with us about 6 weeks before the wedding. She introduced herself to our vendors and made sure they had the itinerary before the wedding, attended zoom meeting with us when requested, and she was quick to respond to our requests and questions. Our wedding included elements from both Chinese and Western weddings, it was a 14-hour day including getting ready, gatecrashing, two tea ceremonies, photoshoots, a first look, ceremony, a quick first dance practice, receptions, and three dress changes (7a-11 pm)! With so much to do, we had a tight itinerary, and Shirley made sure the right people was at the right place at the right time so we are on schedule. She communicated with our wedding party on what's next on the itinerary, and guided our parents through the itinerary. Shirley did a mini rehearsal with our parents for the ceremony and reception introduction on the day, and made sure they were there to see our first look through the window without interrupting our own moments. We highly recommend Shirley to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner or day-of coordinator.

We had multiple visits to the flower district to see and pick the flowers - different from other florists I met with who usually don't bring you directly to the flowers! Could tell right away after the 1st visit to the flower district that not only is she a delightful vendor to work with but she is herself such a great customer - she has great relationships with the flower shops. The final products blew my mind away. The personal flowers (bouquets) were absolutely gorgeous and bountiful (she doesn't skimp on the flowers!) My centerpieces were cherry blossom branches (wedding was in May) and she did such a gorgeous job that some guests actually asked me if they could take a branch or two home. She listens to your vision and makes it come to life. Just trust her. Sometimes it's hard to envision how the final product will come out but I promise you will not be disappointed! My husband reached out to the company and they said they'd provide him with a discount on future orders. They attested their price is due to $6 individual stems and the longevity of the flowers is expected to be 1 week... which makes no sense because again, my roses from Lidl which were under $40 are still alive. We'll never use this business again. Terrible quality of flowers and terrible customer service. Save your money!

However, when my time did come, she dropped the ball on the following tasks: -communicating with my bridal/groom party in a timely and professional fashion -arranging the table numbers (many complaints from guests) -transporting my wedding portrait to the venue without hassling me -family pictures with bride & groom at reception -communicating with respect to stressed out family members (M.O.B & cousins) *and most importantly, failing to hire a back up assistant so she wasn't overwhelmed. Her assistant cancelled last minute, understandable. But this is where professionalism plays a big part. As a person who is not in the industry, even I know it is common sense to have someone on standby for such hiccups. She was accommodating to me when it came to my nerves, however that not the only thing I needed accommodations for. A little tip, a client never wants to see her Coordinator feeling bombarded or flustered. This experience was not worth our money.
