I had my wedding at the Crestwood Manor in September, and it was amazing. Everything went smoothly from the beginning, all thanks to the manager Lynne Arleo. She is super accommodating, and walked us through the process, and stayed on top of every thing for me. She answered any questions I had via phone or email extremely promptly. My husband and I went out to visit the venue so many times it was ridiculous, and she was so pleasant every time. This venue is better for smaller weddings (I had 100 guests) like mine, I believe they said the reception room can hold 150. They only do one wedding at a time, and that was super important to me - no seeing other brides on my wedding day!! I had the ceremony and reception there. The waitstaff were wonderful, and my bridal attendant was phenomenal! I feel so bad, I don't remember her name, but I loved her. Every time I turned around she was nearby, and at the end of that long ass night, she packed up a serving of every dish, some wedding cake, any decor I brought with me, and brought it out to our limo. We planned our wedding in 3 months. We first met with Daisy to arrange a date and review the basics. We worked with Angelo closer to and on the day of the wedding. He ensured everything went smoothly! We had both the ceremony and reception at Crestwood. Originally we were hoping for an unusually warm January day to get married outside (although not that warm, we were able to take pictures outside!). Then we were going to do the ceremony and reception in one room, with the cocktail hour upstairs. Days before the wedding, Angelo presented an option which would be our final choice. Because we ended up with 67 guests, we were able to have an intimate wedding in a small area between the reception room and bridal suit which was awesome! As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by everyone at Crestwood ready to make our day special! Lorraine, our bridal attendant, remained by my side from beginning to end, assisting in the bridal suite, ensuring we had drinks throughout the night and always making sure we were eating! She went above and beyond in so many ways! Our Maitre 'D, Mike, kept us all on point from a timing perspective, making sure we were walking down the aisle on time, everyone was in their right place and kept us all on track. Angelo, Lorraine, Mike and everyone at Crestwood made us and our guests feel at home! Sandy, Bob and Jean were my angels. We ran a bit late for my wedding so Bob tried to keep us on track. The food was amazing( even though the tasting was even better than the wedding day meal lol). My bridal attendant was a God send. The staff was over all helpful, attentive and having an entire place to yourself for a small wedding is priceless. I'm so glad we chose this venue. I am so surprised that there are so few reviews about Crestwood Manor, because they are truly an exceptional venue. We looked at it because it is located in Northport, one of our favorite villages on the island. Sure enough it didn't disappoint and as soon as we stepped foot inside we knew it would be perfect. It was elegant, warm and intimate, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Lynne helped us throughout the entire process and is a PLEASURE to work with. She understood our sense of humor and really helped us flesh out all the details down to the bows on the chairs. The entire staff made us feel like royalty on our special day. The decor looked perfect, even better then I imagined in my head. I loved the bridal suite and the private outdoor area which could be used for smoking or just to escape for a breather. My bridal attendant, Lorrayne, honestly was so sweet and right beside me from start to finish, my drink was always refilled and food was always waiting for myself and my husband. She was so attentive to our needs. I loved her!(can't stress this enough!) Lynne was there to make sure the night went smoothly, she was exceptional during a now humorous but at the time an actual crisis. My maid of honor dropped my husbands ring in the woods(the outside area mentioned previously) five minutes before the ceremony LOL the staff and my bridal party were digging through the woods on hands and knees. The staff didn't have to help, but they did and it was much appreciated. Lynne said we made Crestwood Manor history that night.Lynne was right there trying to cheer me up, I pulled myself and my party together and the rest of the wedding went on PERFECTLY. On a side note we found the ring the next day with a metal detector. The guests all night were complimenting how beautiful the reception and ceremony was, a few said they also would have a wedding at Crestwood. Nothing was forgotten and our guests kept saying how delicious, and how much variety was found as far as food goes. The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu we carefully picked was quality. no joke, it was delicious. Honestly, the night was perfect thanks to Crestwood. I can't say enough great things about the venue and the staff! Thank you for making our wedding absolutely perfect! I had to communion celebrations here. Both were outstanding. The staff was efficient, friendly and bends over backwards to make your affair the best. August 4, 2012. Crestwood went above and beyond for our big day. Everything was perfect, from the house they let us take pictures at to the ceremony, the biggest cocktail hour you can imagine to the reception with the best wedding food I've ever had and the amazing Vietnamese hour. I couldn't have asked for a better day. If your wedding is about 100 people this place is the best, one wedding at a time all the attention is on you what more could you want. And thanks to me they had the doors to the balcony open so I can take a pic up there when the doors were never meant to open, what place would go above and beyond like that. I could go on and on about how great this place is for a wedding but I'll keep it short. We loved everything and all my guests were so impressed on how beautiful and great everything was. My wedding was at the Crestwood Manor on Sept 20, 2014. From my first meeting with Toni Ann I knew I wanted this to be my venue. I was introduced to Lynne who runs the Crestwood ,she was incredible !!! Every meeting , every phone call, every request we had, was handled in Lynne's calm reassuring manner which left me with a feeling of assurance that my wedding was going to be the event of a lifetime. And it was !!! Every detail was taken care of , the level of customer service we received from the entire staff was far beyond anything I had ever experienced. The Crestwood only does one wedding at a time, which makes you and your guests feel so special. Each seperate space in the mansion is beautiful and immaculate ! The cocktail hour room with the baby grand piano, wood bar area and balcony impressed our guests. The view overlooking the rock waterfall and the garden were spectacular. Lynne set up tables and the pasta station outside by the gazebo so our guests had plenty of room during the cocktail hour. There are no words to describe how delicious the food was. My husband is an executive chef so the food was most important to him. My first view of the Ball room took my breathe away. Everything about the Crestwood Manor was perfect from beginning to end. Crestwood Manor just hosted my daughters wedding. There are no suitable words for the wonderful, joyful experience this was. Lynne met with us, and from that very first meeting, through the planning, the rehearsal dinner and the big day, could not have been more professional. She was extremely accommodating, calming and kind! No request was questioned, no question was deemed unimportant... if we missed something, Lynne brought it to our attention and handled all of our newbie problems with a big smile! I would, with supreme confidence recommend this venue for any event you are planning. What sold us was the quaility of the food... we had tastings at other locations and they came no where near the the qualitiy & presentation of every single dish served at Crestwood Manor. Big shout out to the incredilby kind and patient staff... every single person who helped during the wedding could not have been more wonderful! Hugs to Martha, the bridal attendant. Had my sons wedding at the venue June 2016. Being in the event business for over 40 years I selected the venue for its charm and privacy since we only had 100 guests m, I felt it would be perfect. Unfortunately the manager who I had worked with in the past and contracted with was no longer working there. So we met several times with the new manager who had no catering experience. He yelled at my guests who were at the bar to sit down and place their dinner order. The cocktail hour was good but hot dishes were still being put out as the guests entered the cocktail room. The bridal attendant was no where to be seen I had to keep asking where she was and finally told the manager to send her home. Main course ok, but sour milk was put out with the coffee. The worst was the lights over the dance floor were broken and could not be dimmed....horrible for the ambiance. I did send a letter to the manager never heard from him and then to the General Manager to make her aware of all the problems that occurred so they could be addressed for future weddings. The GM ToniAnne got very defensive, a simple thank you for making me aware would of been fine. So since I don't think anything will change I needed to write this review read more
