Having previously been in at least 4 other nursing facilities in the Denver area, we have finally found a place with consistently loving, compassionate caregivers on every level. Laundry staff, cleaning, maintenance, receptionists, CNA's, RNs, MD's Physical and Occupational Therapists , Activity specialists and kitchen staff ( If I left anyone out, it was purely unintentional ).... Bottom line, ALL are AMAZING ! I can honestly say that , in 3 years, I have not noticed anything but kindness and compassion exuding from all staff members. From the care we have received, it is quite obvious that the staff are happy in their chosen professions. A clear example of how fun and special Fairacres is would be the myriad of activities available to those who want to partake. Angie Spencer , a long time employee and Director of Activities, has worked there for years. She puts her heart and soul into making as many days and special occasions as possible super fun. On Monday, for example, when I arrived, they were having a musical chairs type cake walk. It was so fun to watch and if you "landed on" the number that was called out, you won a delicious small bakery cake ! Two days later, I arrived to see my sister and it was " Karaoke Day " . The residents who participated loved it !! Angie had also decorated the resident hallways each day with symbols of various countries , like Mexico, Spain, France etc. The food that was served throughout the day aligned with the particular country that was being showcased. Every Friday, from noon til 5, residents , either male or female can get manicures while listening to " oldies" from their younger years. I literally could go on and on with Bingo, field trips , Wii bowling , volunteer bands and singing groups , dog shows , Valentine's parties etc etc etc. She and her team go out of their way to spread warmth and joy among the residents . It is really quite remarkable. From a medical standpoint, that level of care is also outstanding. The nurses, doctors , Nurse Practitioners and CNA's are all very knowledgeable and caring. I am a retired RN MS and so , please know , that my observations come from a very objective viewpoint. My hope for anyone who is looking for a loving "home" for their family members is that you find what I and many like me have found at Fairacres. I apologize for writing a " book" , I just feel very passionately about this wonderful facility !!!

No. Do we address issues as they come up? Yes. I have been involved with Broadview for many years in many roles. The care and compassion from ALL is phenomenal. From the Administrator to front line staff to the kitchen staff to housekeeping staff it is a down home family atmosphere. I have worked with Broadview as a Hospice Rep, a Home Health rep and employee off and on with the company for 15+ years. To see the great things being done at Broadview makes my heart smile!

The therapy focused on all the positive changes that were being made by our daughter and also assisted in helping her see her behavioral patterns. The employees at Embark are amazing individuals. During visits we unfortunately saw some of the unpleasant behaviors the kids display. The employees are not always treated well by the teens - they are verbally and mentally abused by these kids. What amazed me the most - these employees show up everyday and are prepared to start a new and fresh day with these teens. From our own experience - my daughter really struggled in the beginning and was not very nice - these employees never gave up on her. Instead they listened and helped her find ways to cope with the items she needed to work to become better. I give huge Kudos to all the employees at Embark. Residential Treatment is hard on the family as a whole. Admitting and sending your child away is one of the toughest realities that many of us parents have to face. We felt very comfortable with our daughter being at Embark and also felt these people surrounding her had her best interest at hand. Her Therapist always showed up for our daughter's needs and was challenged heavily by our daughter - she never gave up!!! Yes - she NEVER gave up on our daughter. The transition down to a PHP with Embark was seemless and easy. I am very fortunate we found the treatment center and highly recommend it.

in early August 2016 I spent 5 days in at NCMC wondering when I was going to see any help for the…read moreproblem I went it for. 6 days earlier I instantly lost the hearing in my right ear, and became very sick from nausea, vertigo, and no balance. Urgent care tested for a heart attack that wasn't there. They did nothing for my ear, nothing! I got the same treatment in the hospital as urgent care except ear drops, and antibiotics. nobody put in to order an Ear Nose Throat doctor. That is the reason I have permanently lost the ability the hear normal again I my life. Two days from my release I had an appointment with an ENT and was told if I had seen an ENT within 24 to 48 hours form the incident I would still have hearing in my ear from the procedure they use for SUDDEN DEAD EAR. It's now November and still have the same effects from day one. Thanks North Colorado Medical Center for not giving your best shot to help an old man. I will not ever go back to you, I'd rater die in Loveland. It's a horrible thing you did, and I should be compensated. Looking into that now.
