Pros: - The location of the Inn is wonderful with a less than 2 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. - The Inn provided us with parking and beach tags. - The Inn and rooms are very well maintained and clean. - We had our own private bath, TV, and refrigerator. - Restaurants are located within a 5-15 minute walk depending on what you feel like eating. - On the day of checkout, we were allowed to keep our parking spots and beach badges for the duration of the day until we left. And there are even outside showers, you could use to clean up before sadly bidding adieu to Ocean City. Cons: - For the small room we had, the rate we paid seemed steep. But given that it is peak tourist season, it seemed to be the going rate at the other smaller motels in the area as well. - They accept check or cash only and a 50% deposit by check prior to arrival. - It's been a long time since I wrote out a check for anything, but I gladly obliged and mailed the check. Unfortunately, I made the check out to "Osborne's Inn" (which would be the obvious choice) and once we arrived, I was told the check needed to be made out to Peggy Ann Osborne. I found it strange they could not cash a check made out to the Inn. In any rate, we had to hunt down a bank and withdraw the funds to cover the deposit.

Overall, the rooms are very well-appointed with wood floors, a fully-tiled shower / tub, attractive furnishings and very comfortable beds. The service here is excellent. They are affiliated with the Impala Island Inn, across the street, where the check-in office is located. The location is literally (yes it's cliche) "steps from the boardwalk." Beach Tags are provided for each guest, but must be returned when you check out. Parking is on the first floor of the building, with convenient stairs and elevator up to the rooms. There is a modest pool and pool area available, as well as a nice patio or balcony depending on the room you are in.

I'm the only one who does reviews on Yelp so I am the one warning anyone is is thinking of renting this property to stay away. I only slept here one night and I am having a hard time breathing. Every time the air conditioning came on the smell of mold got stronger. They also do not keep up with any updates. The mini blinds were all bent and broken. The interior is from late 80's early 90's. Also very dirty, ceiling fans were covered in very thick dust. Indoor carpet very stained and disgusting. Floor boards were rotted on main steps inside and outside. On the top step upstairs the only thing that helped from not letting your foot go though was the carpet.Also a soft spot in the floor in front of the downstairs closet. Kitchen was dirty and not properly stocked with the standard pots, pans and utensils. DO NOT RENT!

This was, without question, the worst vacation rental experience I've ever had…read more We paid nearly **five thousand dollars **for one week at 1122 Ocean Drive, Apt. 4, expecting a relaxing beach vacation. Instead, we walked into a property with a ceiling leak that, according to what we were told during our stay, both the owner and Berger Realty were already aware of before we arrived. Knowing there was an unresolved roof leak and still renting the property to guests is completely unacceptable. From the moment we checked in, our vacation was overshadowed by stress, uncertainty, and constant disruptions. We spent valuable vacation time waiting for contractors who never showed up, dealt with poor communication, and had our vacation repeatedly interrupted. Rather than allowing us to enjoy the vacation we had planned and paid for, one option offered by the owner was to charge us only for the days we had stayed and have us leave early, effectively telling us to cut our vacation short and go home. The owner later confirmed that the ceiling was safe, there was no emergency, and the repair could wait until after we checked out. Despite that, the owner entered the property during our stay. If the repair could wait, our privacy should have been respected. The problems didn't stop there. The mattresses were among the most uncomfortable we've ever slept on, several of the TVs didn't work properly, and although beach tags were not included under the rental terms, it was yet another added expense on top of an already disappointing experience. For a property that rents for nearly $5,000 a week, it was in disappointing condition. Based on our experience, it did not appear to have been maintained to the standard we expected for the price we paid. This wasn't our first bad experience with Berger Realty. During our stay last year, we were without air conditioning for three days. After two consecutive years of major problems, we've completely lost confidence in both the owner and Berger Realty. The compensation offered did not come close to reflecting the inconvenience and disruption we experienced. We will never rent another property managed by Berger Realty and cannot recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free vacation.
