We came here for a quick lunch before continuing on with our day. We were seated immediately. They had homemade vegetable soup. It was a tomato base and it was delicious and piping hot. The pancake was good. Not the best, but it was good. I also had the grilled cheese with fries. The bread was crunchy and soft, and perfectly toasted. My sister and mom enjoyed their meals as well. There were no complaints. Pricing was fair and honest. The staff was so kind and they were working hard. It was a little loud as it is wide open for the most part. But, it did not make our visit negative.

The pancakes were delicious! Soooo good! The perfect amount of sweetness & the portion sizes were huge. I'm giving it a 4 rather than a 5, as I found their french toast to be underwhelming. The bread was not the best quality, but maybe it had just been a bad batch. I got the french toast to go, but next time I would opt for the pancakes instead. Genuinely don't miss out on their pancakes! Overall it's a lovely location for brunch & there's something to order for everyone.

This is a hidden gem not far from Ursinus. My husband and I came here for my birthday because I adore omelettes and saw they had them on the menu when we were around the Collegeville area. It was definitely a good choice, and we'll be back soon! I ordered the red pepper omelette with goat cheese. It was perfectly cooked with a generous amount of peppers and cheese! The home fries were made perfectly crispy. Though it was a Saturday morning with a good crowd, the staff were attentive and friendly. My coffee was consistently topped off. We were asked if we'd ever been there as if they noticed we weren't regulars! And we were kindly welcomed back. It was a great experience all around with a true atmosphere of a neighborhood cafe. Highly recommend!

Great little cafe in shopping center, breakfast and lunch, closes at 3pm. Had Grilled Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich, hit the spot! Ron was a great server, upbeat vibes, full diner menu.

We had a very good dining experience here. "Breakfast & Lunch all day" (photo) is their motto. The waitstaff are very attentive and very friendly, and it provided a very positive and pleasant atmosphere as we were seated. That's the first thing I noticed. The food looked (photos) and tasted very good. I think they give you a generous serving so that you don't go away hungry. We didn't try any breakfast food on this visit, but judging from what others were eating, they also looked very good. Perhaps next time, I'll try some from the breakfast menu. I thought it was unusual to hear some Christian BGM played here. I was pleasantly surprised about that in this neck of the woods. It was an altogether very pleasant dining experience here. I'll be back at the next available opportunity. Highly recommended.

It was enough to share, and as there's a lot of food coming, it's not a bad idea to do so. They were absolutely yummy! Next they served fresh made Afghan bread, made on the premises daily, and a very fresh salad, served family style so we could help ourselves. The bread is interesting. It's not quite a flatbread, not quite a yeast bread. But they were both excellent. By now I was getting full, and we still had our entrées to come! What drew me to this restaurant was its good selection of meatless entrées. I got the Chalaw Banjan. which was a slow-simmered eggplant stew with warm spices. It was served with a plate of Afghan rice, and mixed together this is top-notch Afghan comfort food. The owner said this was her favorite dish, and I see why. My sister got a lamb stew dish called Qurma Chalaw. While she said it was good, she thought mine was also delicious and preferred that one. High praise as she claims to dislike eggplant! There are delicious looking home baked treats for dessert, and they do brunch for one hour daily, except Sundays. That's a little strange for brunch. We were completely stuffed after the meal, so no room for dessert. Another time!

Chows Corner Cafe is NOT Chow on Main Street in Collegeville. I'm unsure if they are related. Chow Corner Cafe serves breakfast all day AND lunch! Their menu is extensive but NOT expensive. I had the California burger and it was so delicious! It had bacon, avacado, cheese, tomato and onion. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the side salad instead of fries- it was generous! No upcharge either. My friend ordered the vegetable quesadilla and commented on how delicious it was. There were abundant ingredients in there. The interior of the restaurant reminds me of a restaurant Larry David would go to in California. Pretty colorful walls and hip designs of food- the fried eggs were cute as can be! The only thing that may have been better would be a friendlier server. He was efficient though and we got everything we needed. Yohan (I think that was his name?) at the register was pleasant. I would not hesitate to go back. I don't live close to Chows so I'm not sure when I would go back but when I'm here again I'll go again. I recommend you try it!! I left with a full tummy and I can appreciate the high quality of the food at the not staggering prices. Not easy to pull off with the astronomical inflation.

I'll happily come here again the next time I'm in town.

Our waitress recommended the roast chicken and it did not disappoint. Started with Soup of the Day - Cream of Chicken that my daughter stole from me and wifey had the French onion soup. (mine was better). Then the girls had silver dollar pancakes with whipped cream and left only crumbs and the other got The Batman aka a hot dog and fries that we brought home. Wifey had the buffalo chicken wrap that had too much ranch dressing inside it, it was 50/50 ranch to buffalo chicken! She loves dressing too, but she admitted it was too much. I had the roast chicken, a little dry, but with the gravy it was good. Same daughter who stole my soup, stole the mashed potatoes and surprisingly some of the green beans. Definitely a very good dinner for being a backup selection for me. The littles had ice cream with their meals and then we all shared a giant homemade rice pudding that may have been our favorite item of the night. As the newest Collegevillians, we will certainly be back to try more items.
