My Father, who is 95 was so impressed by the professional way everything was handled from beginning to end. My Father was once the District Plant Manager for Timken, and so he is very detail oriented. My Mother Passed July of 2025 in a skilled nursing facility, and when the kind men came to get her at 4:00 am dressed respectfully in suits they gave us time to say our goodbyes. The following day my Father and Brother were able to select all the things we needed as a family to make a lovely celebration of Life. The Funeral Home is beautiful and we were able to have a tribute playing on a screen with 80 pictures and music. The organist who also has an amazing voice did an outstanding job. We were allowed to use tables in the different areas to display pictures and memorabilia to celebrate Mom's life. Everything went beautifully and on schedule. There was plenty of parking for our guests, clean bathrooms, kleenex and sanitizers in every room for the guests. All of the kind folks there listened to our needs and carried everything out to perfection. We will continue to use Woods in our family and highly recommend it to anyone in search of a Funeral Home. We are so pleasesd to share that Heritage stands out way beyond excellent service. The staff was not only professional, respectful and compassionate but they reached out to my husband (his mother had passed) as a friend would. They were so genuine!! We were equally as impressed when they took care of ALL the paperwork, helped us write the obituatary (forwarded it to an out-of-state newspaper) and helped us navigate the bureaucracy when a unique legal situation occured weeks after her passing. The bottom line, Heritage provided us with outstanding service on every level and made a difficult time nearly bearable.

Andy walked us through the many decisions and details that our family faced with great skill, compassion and sensitivity. He must have said 100 times "This is about what you want, and we will make what you want happen." And that proved to be so very true. He even walked us through some last minute changes right before the service and helped guide us to the correct decision. He then saw to it that it was executed as if it had been planned all along. And their facility is fantastic. It is beautiful, spacious and flexible. I don't think we could be a better facility. But of course it all comes down to the service. From picking my…read moregrandmother up at the nursing home the morning of her passing all the way through to her burial ceremony, we were so pleased with every aspect of her funeral and the care provided to us by the staff here. Our funeral planning with Tim was as easy as we could have asked. Obviously, this was a very difficult time for our family and Tim was so patient and professional with outlining how everything would go. He communicated with our church to make sure that everything was taken care of down to every last detail. We felt at ease knowing they were taking the best care of my grandmother. The facilities are beautiful and I can't think of any critiques for our viewing. We are Catholic, and they were very mindful of all of our traditions and faith rituals. It was exactly as my grandmother would have wanted everything. During our viewing and also during the funeral, all of their staff treated us with such respect and care, we were all amazed. Down to the last detail of making sure that we had flowers from her casket, they took care of things that we never would have even thought of. They sought out the immediate family members (even those of us from out of town) during the services and viewing and made sure to introduce themselves and help guide us through the custom of receiving friends and family, seeking grief counseling services if needed, and attending to any special requests we had. They went above and beyond and were found to be a strange comfort to us during an intensely difficult time. They conducted themselves professionally and with sympathy for our loss. There's eight hundred forty two documented gravesites. That sounds realistic to me as the cemetery lies behind the church and seemed to be in excess of three acres of property. Some of the older burial sites are marked with fieldstone and offer no identification. The cemetery itself is in immaculate condition with the grass having been recently cut. There were some identifiable older graves and I took some photos.
