You learn real self defense, Krav, Boxing, Kick Boxing, and Jiu Jitsu in a real world setting. Whether you compete or not, you will recieve the same level of instruction...something that sets this gym apart. Most gyms spend a lot of time with their competitors, but the people who just want to train and have fun are left alone. Not here. Jason Jeanette LOVES to teach and is very good at it. I have been doing martial arts for quite a while and have set foot in most of the gyms in the Nashville area. This one is special. In fact, I drive past several to get there. The gym is sparkling clean and the people are a blast to be around. No big egos here! Jason has a way with children. His kids classes are nothing short of amazing. Coming from a guy who has coached youth football, I can say that I wish I had the natural ability to communicate with children in such a fun and constructive way. You and your child will both benefit greatly from these classes. I would not send my son or daughter to any other martial arts school in the Nashville area. I feel like they do a great job of safety and teaching. I went to another gym yearsssss ago where my second class I was already rolling with a really beefy guy and I couldn't move, not a great experience. But here at Triangle, they do a great job of making sure we feel confident before we jump in and there's a time frame before we can start participating in the live training and also when women and men can start rolling together which is pretty cool (makes it less pressure)!
