Apparently, vendors normally update their booths every few weeks unless they're out of state, so we will definitely come back soon to see the new stock. My husband and I ran across the FIG Candle Company and its lovely owner in the fall of 2011, at the St Charles Scarecrow Fest. The booth was just about ready to close down, when we walked by and asked about prices. The owner was lovely, sweet, helpful and welcoming, even though she was getting ready to go. She took us through candle fragrances, containers, even a background on wicks. What sold us is that the candles were made of soy, so they gave off a clean burn, and that was important for me because I was pregnant and wanted the air to be as clean as possible. We bought two petal pot ceramic containers and another smaller set as gifts. The prices are comparable to Yankee Candle Company, but burn cleaner, and you have to love a small business! Since them, I have asked my family to get me candles from FIG, most recently in the past two weeks. Truly, I am so so pleased with the candles, the service and the lovely owner. I will continue to return and encourage any candle fans to do the same!
