An excellent hotel choice in Tucson. This hotel is right in the heart of downtown/U of A campus, and is very walkable to a ton of local restaurants. The lobby is beautiful and they have an awesome lobby cafe with coffee, tea and breakfast bites called the Poindexter and a rooftop restaurant bar called Moonstone which is incredibly vibey especially on the weekends! Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating of my family and I! Highly reccomended!

Unacceptable Experience with this Hotel Valet and Lack of Responsibility from this hotel! We are also diamond members of the Hilton and shocked at how we were treated! We recently stayed at this hotel and had a terrible experience that I feel compelled to share. We stayed here because we were dropping our daughter off at college and this hotel is very convenient! My husband and I utilized the valet service offered by the hotel, but our confidence was shattered when his Dodge Ram truck was stolen from an overflow parking lot where it was parked by their valet company. The overflow parking lot did not have cameras! Both parking garages were NOT full, not sure why they parked it in the overflow parking lot. To make matters worse, both the hotel management and the valet company completely refused to take any responsibility for the theft. Their responses were not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude and unprofessional. It was shocking to see how little they cared about the safety of their guests' property. The hotel front desk clerk actually said they are not affiliated with the valet company and that it was a third-party company. If you're considering staying here, think twice. You might find yourself dealing with a similar situation and get little to no support when it matters most. We certainly won't be returning!

The Graduate Hotel in Tucson is such an adorable, Arizona-themed hotel! The decor is absolutely impeccable; I couldn't stop talking about how inviting and charming it is throughout the entire hotel. Even the decor in the rooms features cactus and Arizona-themed elements. It really makes you feel so happy and at home! I also had the most amazing sunrise views from my hotel window!! They have an incredible rooftop bar with fire pits, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas, a full-service bar, a pool, and sprawling views of the Arizona mountains! It's the ideal spot to catch some of the most beautiful sunsets while enjoying food and drinks! There's also a coffee shop in the lobby where they serve breakfast and grab-and-go items. The service is wonderful, as the staff are all extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is a big win, too; it's within walking distance of downtown Tucson, nearby coffee shops and stores, and the university! I would highly recommend The Graduate and would absolutely stay here again!

This was an amazing place to stay. Rooms were clean and affordable. The guest staff were professional and friendly. They had a fabulous pool area and the food choices at the casino were great. I really enjoyed the prices and the for food. When staying here checking out the gift shop is a must

A top notch place combining the comfort of a Hilton with a unique eclectic ambience. We stayed for a night on a weekend getaway and were auto upgraded prior to our arrival due to status to an Graduate King with Mountain view which is always nice! The room was beautiful and unique with a strong presence of Arizona and Tuscon history. Lots of towels, hand towels. The bath products were Malin and Goetz and the body wash was rum flavored. A true differentiator and not the usual crap products one would find at the regular Hiltons. Parking is valet only , 34 USD for overnight, super convenient. Street Parking and other university parking present nearby if you are so incentivized. Reception was very courteous and casual, which I loved ! We ordered the English breakfast muffin and coffee from the cafe at the hotel, I loved it all and wolfed it down !

I stayed here for a couple of nights and thought it was in a great location with a lot of good restaurants and a CVS close by. The man checking me in was helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms are cute/quirky. I did have a light that kept blinking in my room (smoke alarm?) that was annoying. The pool area is just okay. It has good views, but the pool itself is small and there are only 12 lounge chairs. The view is particularly nice at sunset.

What a great spot right next to the U of A. Greatly appreciate the valet when you pull up which includes a text messaging system, super convenient! Check in was a breeze on the Hilton app allowing for choice of room based off hotel map. The staff were very helpful and friendly (shout out to Mike). The rooms are very clean and have great decor. The phone is a nice amalgam of analog and digital throwback with a great working desk. The bathroom is stocked with renewable amenities in the shower which has great pressure. The towels are soft. Had a great sleep and was ready for work the next day after a quick jaunt to the gym which was a great layout including treadmill, rower, bike, free weights and floor exercise equipment. The cafe downstairs is great for breakfast! Bacon cooked perfect, fluffy eggs and crisp potatoes for their classic. Can't wait to get back after work and hangout on the rooftop lounge The Moonstone next to the heated pool for sunset the west and moon rise over the mountains to the east.

My husband and I did a staycation here and it was great! Love the theme they carry through all aspects of the hotel--like the room keys, the do not disturb signs, etc. So cute! Also love how the whole hotel and the rooms are decorated. Besides the convenient location to U of A, the best part of this hotel is the rooftop pool. Beautiful views. The only thing missing is a hot tub! The moonstone is a great asset as well--very fun rooftop bar. The rooms are so cute but they are extremely small. It made me wonder if this building actually was a dorm previously? The rooms are nice and love all the attention to detail in the lighting, the photographs, etc but it was very, very cozy. They offer valet parking for $28 but there's a parking garage super close that's only $16 for overnight so we opted for that. They also have free bike rentals. We passed on that due to the heat, but it's a nice feature. It would be fun to bike around campus. We got breakfast at the lobby coffee shop and it's extremely cute. Love all the coffee table books. I enjoyed looking at a few Georgia O'Keefe books. My husband and I each got a birria burrito for breakfast and while it was huge, I would not recommend getting it. I didn't think it was very good and there were bones in mine. Ew. Overall, this is hotel is a great addition to the campus scene. Perfect place for U of A parents and families.

What a cute stay - five stars all the way for location, amenities, service and overall value. My two night stay at the Graduate Tucson was for business, but there is so much to see and do in the area. The hotel is directly across from the Arizona State Museum, as well as the west campus side of University of Arizona, with plenty of restaurant, coffee, and drink options steps away from the hotel. As for the hotel, it's a very mid-mod southwestern vibe, and includes bike rentals, a rooftop pool and restaurant, fitness center, a ballroom/events space, a lobby cafe/bar, and Malin + Goetz bath products. The lobby bar serves up breakfast sandwiches, tacos, and of course, coffee and snacks; and it has plenty of seating and charging stations. And books! I was offered early check-in as well as late check out (12pm, no fee). Valet and onsite parking is available.

This is a fun, comfortable hotel! I love the custom coffee drinks at the Poindexter. I love the bicycles you can borrow. Comfy bed. Nice desk to work from. The room was small but still fine. And the pool was shallow but spectacular!

Located in the edge of the U of A campus, The Graduate Tucson is a nice place to stay. The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. Beds are comfy and the towels are soft. Water pressure is very good and the overall hotel is in great maintenance. While you can buy some drinks and snacks in the lobby - they don't have any vending machines. The cafe on property, Poindexter, has limited hours and a limited menu. There is also a rooftop bar, but we didn't have the opportunity this trip to check it out. Definitely not on the cheap side, but a nice place to stay!

There are a lot of retro hotels being renovated around Arizona…read morethese days, and having stayed at multiple ones, I can say Hotel McCoy is doing it really well. I love that it is a single-story motel, meaning you don't have to listen to the neighbors walking above you all night. Also, they have gone out of their way to make things kitschy, artsy, and cool. There is art everywhere, including fun little treats like chalk and chalkboards in the room. The rooms are functional but not fancy. There isn't carpet (a benefit in my opinion), the shower is small, but has excellent pressure. I will say the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean. We had a small (retro-style of course) fridge in the room. And even though there was just a window unit, our room maintained a comfortable temperature. (Although it wasn't that hot. I am not sure how it would be in the summer.) I do love that they only have keypads, no actual keys, which made it really convenient to go in and out. There is also a little bistro set by the front door, which is delightful for sipping coffee (or eating your free oatmeal) in the morning. The common areas are fun, decorated with a lot of cool art and old school kitsch. The pool is heated saltwater, which is good for the cooler months, but kind of a bummer in the hotter months (aka most of the year) because it was only April but the pool felt like bathwater. You can't bring your own drinks to the pool area, but they have a lot of drinks for sale in the lobby (beer, wine, cider, no hard liquor), and the prices are quite reasonable. And the oatmeal bar in the morning is tons of fun. Service is slightly hit or miss. Some of the employees were amazing (shout out to Alex!), but some kind of felt like they were going through the motions. All in all, this is a good value motel, and I would stay there again.

I appreciate that the food trucks they invite to be on premises have vegetarian and vegan options. Can't wait for the next event here!

There really isn't a lot in the immediate area of much interest; most of the best that Tucson has to offer is in the greater metro area, not the downtown core. But it is nice that they offer ample parking just steps from your room at no extra charge. The building looks nice from the outside, with its retro mod style and landscaped courtyard. The bar has very limited hours in the summer, but does have a nice drink menu and makes a good spot to hang out. The room was a bit sparse in my opinion. I was under the impression from the website that there would be a nook with a chair for reading, but my room didn't have one. It just had the bed, a couple of nightstands, a dresser, a mini-fridge, and a narrow desk. There's no closet, just a couple of hooks on the wall. The bathroom was basic, with a prefab shower unit. The decor is limited to a couple of vintage lamps and some patterned fabric for the curtains. The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner was wonderful at keeping it cool. There's a window next to the door with a top block that isn't covered by a shade, so anyone could stand on a stool from outside and look in the room. I went looking for ice at about 3pm one afternoon. I knew the bar was closed that day, but the entire front office area was locked and no one was around. Summer is slow season, but I wonder what if there were something more urgent than ice? At least the off-season rates are quite low.

The staff was very accommodating and more than willing to help me out with an early check-in. The check in process was really smooth and all they needed was an ID as there was already a credit card on file with my reservation. They handed me a key and showed me my room and that was it. The only thing I would know is maybe request a top floor room as being on the bottom floor I could hear the people above me moving around quite a bit. The inn itself is a charming historic home in downtown Tucson. The neighborhood felt quiet, and was a convenient location for exploring the area. We stayed in the Pennington Room, which was comfortable overall, and there were several aspects of the property we genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, our check-in experience overshadowed the rest of our stay. We booked and prepaid our reservation through Priceline, which is a common booking method for travelers. Before our trip (July 1-5), I called the inn on June 20 to confirm our reservation, let them know we would be arriving late, and request a breakfast basket for the following morning since we planned to sleep in. They confirmed everything, including our reservation, breakfast request, and even provided our door codes. When we arrived that evening, we were locked out. I called the owner, who answered, but told me Priceline had canceled our reservation. The next 45 minutes to an hour consisted of multiple phone calls, requests for my payment information, and confusion over whether we even had a room. Eventually, after speaking with the manager, they acknowledged the issue was on their end and let us into our room. After traveling all day in the Arizona summer heat, it was frustrating to arrive at a room that had not been prepared for our arrival. The air conditioning had not been turned on, the room was extremely warm, and the sheets had black streaks on them that looked like ink marks. The breakfast basket we had requested in advance was also missing. The following morning, I contacted Priceline directly. They confirmed my reservation had never been canceled and that everything was correct on their end. Later, the explanation from the inn changed from "Priceline canceled your reservation" to "Priceline provided us with an invalid virtual payment card." Regardless of where the payment issue originated, it was concerning that we were repeatedly asked about payment after already prepaying, and I wanted written confirmation that we would not be charged a second time at checkout. Thankfully, the inn did provide that reassurance, and we did not experience any additional billing issues. My impression is that the property struggles with third-party bookings. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend booking directly through the inn rather than through a travel site to hopefully avoid a similar experience. Once the check-in issues were resolved, our stay was generally peaceful. However, the staff continued bringing up the reservation problem during breakfast each morning and repeatedly told us they wanted to treat us like "normal guests," which unintentionally kept reminding us of the difficult start to our stay. Breakfast ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. We were told the first morning's breakfast was not up to their usual standard because they had not been expecting us due to the reservation confusion. Even so, it was delicious. Each morning included fresh pastries and a yogurt parfait topped with fresh fruit and honey. While the parfait remained consistent each day, the hot breakfast changed and gave us the opportunity to try different dishes. One morning featured chile eggs that were especially delicious. Every breakfast also included a simple arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette, which was a nice, fresh addition. Throughout the day, guests also had access to complimentary refreshments, including Nespresso coffee, spring water, and Pepperidge Farm cookies available 24 hours a day. The breakfasts and hospitality in this regard were definitely a standout part of the experience. The property itself has its strengths. The bathrooms are nicely updated, the room was refreshed daily, the water pressure was good, and housekeeping kept everything smelling clean. Just note that the standard refresh service does not include changing the sheets each day. Because it is a historic home, the room stayed fairly warm, and while the shower had good water pressure, the temperature never became especially hot or cold. The television also only offered DirecTV, so if you're accustomed to streaming services or a smart TV, that's something to be aware of. Overall, the inn is charming, the breakfasts were excellent, and it's located in a great neighborhood. However, the disorganized check-in process and inconsistent communication made what should have been a relaxing vacation start on a stressful note.

Hotel lobby, elevator was clean & inviting. The room (King) was clean, bed was comfortable & A/C was cold. Pool was adequate, narrow, but went to 5 feet and you could do mini-laps if desired. Towels were available (outside) and pool was clean. Breakfast was great, lots of selections, eggs & bacon were delicious. The young lady managing the breakfast was friendly & on it. Kept area clean & well-stocked. You could find something to eat from cereal to waffles. Overall Staff & amenities was 5 Stars, hotel is dated, but well maintained. The TV was small, and older model. The greeting name on screen was incorrect. I am not sure if front desk knew how to update Would stay here again if in the area.

This place actually supported the "mobile key" properly: I wouldn't have had to visit the front desk unless I wanted to. I was able to get my key, unlock my room and even check out without problems. I only went to the front desk to ask about the possibility of a late check out since I'd forgotten to do that in when I checked in on the app. My room was spacious and clean and had a comfortable bed. The elevator was functional and not too noisy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The ice machine worked (first floor) and there was a good laundry facility on my floor if I'd needed it. The property is tucked back away from the main road, so no road noise kept me awake at night.

Their famous "bottomless" mimosas found their bottom this year, first one is free, but you pay for additional. I get it, price of everything has gone up so sad but it is understandable. But the stationed buffet is still amazing and bountiful. Literally soup to nuts, the outdoor grill station is a flurry of activity, complete with live music and misters. This brunch is well worth the price and you are encouraged to eat as long as you are able to. It's really enjoyable to observe packed tables with multiple generations of guests who are smiling, laughing, quaffing and eating beautifully crafted dishes that are endless! It's a go to place for special occasions, the property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views, and because of their reputation I believe reservations are a must. If you haven't already been there, I highly encourage you to visit and if have been a prior guest just remember the endless mimosas are a thing of the past. Enjoy

And that is a high factor for safety for me when I go and stay in any gated communities/properties. I've stayed in front of the pool area each time and have not been disturbed by the pool or the freeway noise. The kids have always been happy and so have us adults. There are toys for them to have in the pool. There is a gym as well as an icemaker which are cleaner than most hotel so I'm happy about that as well. The breakfast is fantastic get the waffle, bacon and eggs. He will not regret it. I enjoy the music on the weekends and that you can really enjoy a night under the stars. The staff are all kind and attentive. It does get a little busy if you're here during a holiday, but what hotel doesn't. I hope everybody enjoys their stay.

Shower is good, bed is good, it has a great pool area, a lounge and bar and a pseudo restaurant. All of the grounds seem to be extremely clean and all of the employees that we met were very nice. But Now here is what I really didn't like about the restaurant. They pretty much had one or two things I could eat. The bacon that was ordered was so overcooked like it had been sitting there for a week. I re-ordered a side of bacon two pieces cost four dollars and I had to eat dry toast because they have fake butter.. is it that hard to have real butter and to cook things in Tallow? I couldn't eat most things scrambled eggs, in a bag blended with oil. Fake butter. Potatoes deep-fried in vegetable/canola oil, can't eat seed oils because they tear me up.. .. the food and beverage manager at this establishment and across all of their hotels need to step it up and turn this experience into being a more healthy food option people would appreciate it for sure. Day two didn't eat at the restaurant. I actually found a pop-up tent that deep fries everything in tallow that's where I ate today. I do have to say they didn't have some good employees like Angel, Lexi, Edward and Marcos. Richard seem nice and I expressed my concerns about the food in the restaurant and the door in our room. That was so hard to open after you take a shower. OK, OK, even though I would come back to stay here I do have to let them know, be aware of a few things, the smell when we arrived in our room was overwhelming. And, there was no water in the fridge, although there was a tag to show that we had complementary water. with all that I will still stay at this hotel. Hopefully next time I will be able to eat. I WOULD RECOMMED
