Update - On our 4th night as I walked out to my vehicle, I see my rear license plate is bent upwards like someone tried to yank it off. No other damage. As I'm straightening it out, a young lady asks if someone tried to steal the plate. I responded it appears to be since no other damage, she informs me someone broke into her vehicle, smashing two side windows as well as the same bent plate. 2 other guests had the same issue with one guest having their car rifled through and possibly a theft attempt since the steering column was pretty much destroyed. Apparently the hotel places signs advising guests to park at their own risk as they are not responsible for damage/missing items. No security of any sort, nor cameras. Parking your vehicle within view of the room isn't really possible due to the layout. Based on this experience I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars. If they had security or at least security cameras to help ensure guests and their vehicles had some measure of safety and security as opposed to a sign stating not responsible, it would go a long way towards ensuring a repeat stay. But as of now, I would hesitate to recommend, especially if you are in your personal vehicle as opposed to a rental.

Nice comfortable room with extra amenities. Mini kitchen with full refrigerator stove etc. Also a nice sitting area. Comfortable bed ( pillows need a little work ) but overall pleased. They have a small pool with a sitting area by a fire and tv for friends. Small gym but clean. Free breakfast is lacking and although they say they serve till 9 they stop bringing out fresh food at 8. Only slim pickings by 9. Also a bit disappointing overall. The hotel itself is nice though. Came back and had a room where the heater was broken. Not good

We won the jackpot they have a wheel to spin for points and I got the jackpot.... Other than that this place is clean I read other reviews and they said it was dirty but no quite the opposite I always take my own wipes to wipe things down and while disinfecting I did not pick up any dust. Carpets were clean everything was super clean.. they have your tv remotes in a bag that says they are clean and and they leave a few disinfecting wipes to assure you they are clean. Breakfast is included first day we had green Chile burritos and your choice of scrambled eggs and bacon. Second day was egg McMuffin or/and green Chile and cheese egg muffin really good. Fully stocked oatmeal bar pumpkin seeds, granola, chocolate chips, coconut all kinds of stuff, they all choices of breads, fruit, granola bars. Coffee bar with ice coffee as well. Staff was super nice we were greeted with Alex the first night.. If you forgot your soaps bathroom of fully stocked with. Body wash. Shampoo & conditioner. The only downside was the view it faces another building and they have a balcony keep that in mind while you are walking around.... Oh this place does allow dogs

this hotel should be renamed the "serviceable TownPlace Suites, tucson." Serviceable is the keyword here. It gets the job done, not really a place to look forward to unless you are fleeing an abusive spouse but definitely a location you can count on. Tucked into an industrial park, ample parking, quiet. Front desk staff is great. Rooms are clean, quiet and cool. Breakfast is adequately tasty. Gym is a clunker.

This property should not be called a TownePlace suite. Typically TownePlace offers a choice between two bedroom, one bedroom and studio units. However, I reserved a one bedroom unit, not a studio. When I arrived I found out that this property only has studio units and has no one bedroom or two bedroom units to offer. That being said, this property completely under delivered my expectations. As loyal Marriott Rewards member, I am extremely disappointed. Do not expect a suite when you check in at this property. You can see the image of how we made do with three beds in one studio room. If I was alone on business, this room would be suitable. It does not work with the family.

I was immediately impressed by how clean this facility is. It sparkles. The room was immaculate. Additionally, everyone from Gary at the front desk to Monique at breakfast were smiling and helpful. Speaking of breakfast, it didn't feel like your usual resident inn type fare. YUMMY!

The lobby is nice and the front desk is ok with their ck in friendliness. Pool area is small especially when it comes to an AZ pool and it didn't feel like it was heated. There is also no hot tub. My room was spacious, modern and clean for the most part. The dishes they have stocked in the cupboards are disgusting. I found multiple items with strands of hair on it and some items with left over dried food. The bathroom is in need of some more caulking as mold is starting to happen in the shower.

When staying in Tucson in the past, I've always stayed at the main chain Marriott on campus. I've never liked it so this time around, I thought I'd try a different hotel in town. This TownePlace was centrally located and looked nice online when I was looking for where to stay. I arrived last this past Monday evening and was nicely greeted by a young man at the desk. He gave me the hours of breakfast, told me where everything was located, etc. I got into my room which was very clean, the bed was comfy and it had all of the amenities that most regular hotels don't have (kitchen with microwave, full sized fridge, sink, stone, etc). Although it's very hot in AZ, I don't like to sleep with the air on as the noise bothers me as I'm a light sleeper. Although I had turn d it off, the fan for some reason was still running. The same young man who checked me in was nice enough to come upstairs and fix it for me. I slept great and the shower in the morning along with the coffee in the room was nice as well. The breakfast is great, all Marriott type hotels always do a great buffet. Both mornings I enjoyed eggs, English muffins, peanut butter, fruit and coffee in a nicely modernized seating area. The computers work great as well! The property is very clean, the staff are friendly, breakfast is great and it's in a great area of town next to plenty of restaurants.

I love that it is a single-story motel, meaning you don't have to listen to the neighbors walking above you all night. Also, they have gone out of their way to make things kitschy, artsy, and cool. There is art everywhere, including fun little treats like chalk and chalkboards in the room. The rooms are functional but not fancy. There isn't carpet (a benefit in my opinion), the shower is small, but has excellent pressure. I will say the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean. We had a small (retro-style of course) fridge in the room. And even though there was just a window unit, our room maintained a comfortable temperature. (Although it wasn't that hot. I am not sure how it would be in the summer.) I do love that they only have keypads, no actual keys, which made it really convenient to go in and out. There is also a little bistro set by the front door, which is delightful for sipping coffee (or eating your free oatmeal) in the morning. The common areas are fun, decorated with a lot of cool art and old school kitsch. The pool is heated saltwater, which is good for the cooler months, but kind of a bummer in the hotter months (aka most of the year) because it was only April but the pool felt like bathwater. You can't bring your own drinks to the pool area, but they have a lot of drinks for sale in the lobby (beer, wine, cider, no hard liquor), and the prices are quite reasonable. And the oatmeal bar in the morning is tons of fun. Service is slightly hit or miss. Some of the employees were amazing (shout out to Alex!), but some kind of felt like they were going through the motions. All in all, this is a good value motel, and I would stay there again.

I learned that Geaduate is a boutique chain in which each location selects a school, a city's vibe, and pop culture to guide its decor, so now I want to visit them all. I am so impressed with how the interior designers pulled the theme into the little details of the decor. The decor made me so happy. I will admit I am a plant person, so anytime plants are used well in decor, I am happy, and this place had cacti in lots of little and big spaces. I think the Graduate should create a digital and maybe physical hall pass that gets stamped at each unique boutique location, kind of like the national park pass book or the state capital building passbook. We were here for pleasure, and the friendly hotel staff greeted us every time we walked in or out. Cleanliness & Maintenance: The staff keeps this place spotless. We were lucky enough to have the Mountain View, and it was spectacular. I love the colors, which complement the dessert landscape. Our bathroom was well stocked, and your knees don't hit anything when you sit down to pee. The shower is spacious, and the water pressure is high. There really isn't a lot in the immediate area of much interest; most of the best that Tucson has to offer is in the greater metro area, not the downtown core. But it is nice that they offer ample parking just steps from your room at no extra charge. The building looks nice from the outside, with its retro mod style and landscaped courtyard. The bar has very limited hours in the summer, but does have a nice drink menu and makes a good spot to hang out. The room was a bit sparse in my opinion. I was under the impression from the website that there would be a nook with a chair for reading, but my room didn't have one. It just had the bed, a couple of nightstands, a dresser, a mini-fridge, and a narrow desk. There's no closet, just a couple of hooks on the wall. The bathroom was basic, with a prefab shower unit. The decor is limited to a couple of vintage lamps and some patterned fabric for the curtains. The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner was wonderful at keeping it cool. There's a window next to the door with a top block that isn't covered by a shade, so anyone could stand on a stool from outside and look in the room. I went looking for ice at about 3pm one afternoon. I knew the bar was closed that day, but the entire front office area was locked and no one was around. The inn itself is a charming historic home in downtown Tucson. The neighborhood felt quiet, and was a convenient location for exploring the area. We stayed in the Pennington Room, which was comfortable overall, and there were several aspects of the property we genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, our check-in experience overshadowed the rest of our stay. We booked and prepaid our reservation through Priceline, which is a common booking method for travelers. Before our trip (July 1-5), I called the inn on June 20 to confirm our reservation, let them know we would be arriving late, and request a breakfast basket for the following morning since we planned to sleep in. They confirmed everything, including our reservation, breakfast request, and even provided our door codes. When we arrived that evening, we were locked out. I called the owner, who answered, but told me Priceline had canceled our reservation. The next 45 minutes to an hour consisted of multiple phone calls, requests for my payment information, and confusion over whether we even had a room. Eventually, after speaking with the manager, they acknowledged the issue was on their end and let us into our room. After traveling all day in the Arizona summer heat, it was frustrating to arrive at a room that had not been prepared for our arrival. The air conditioning had not been turned on, the room was extremely warm, and the sheets had black streaks on them that looked like ink marks. The breakfast basket we had requested in advance was also missing. The following morning, I contacted Priceline directly. They confirmed my reservation had never been canceled and that everything was correct on their end. Later, the explanation from the inn changed from "Priceline canceled your reservation" to "Priceline provided us with an invalid virtual payment card." Regardless of where the payment issue originated, it was concerning that we were repeatedly asked about payment after already prepaying, and I wanted written confirmation that we would not be charged a second time at checkout. Thankfully, the inn did provide that reassurance, and we did not experience any additional billing issues. My impression is that the property struggles with third-party bookings. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend booking directly through the inn rather than through a travel site to hopefully avoid a similar experience. Once the check-in issues were resolved, our stay was generally peaceful. However, the staff continued bringing up the reservation problem during breakfast each morning and repeatedly told us they wanted to treat us like "normal guests," which unintentionally kept reminding us of the difficult start to our stay. Breakfast ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. We were told the first morning's breakfast was not up to their usual standard because they had not been expecting us due to the reservation confusion. Even so, it was delicious. Each morning included fresh pastries and a yogurt parfait topped with fresh fruit and honey. While the parfait remained consistent each day, the hot breakfast changed and gave us the opportunity to try different dishes. One morning featured chile eggs that were especially delicious. Every breakfast also included a simple arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette, which was a nice, fresh addition. Throughout the day, guests also had access to complimentary refreshments, including Nespresso coffee, spring water, and Pepperidge Farm cookies available 24 hours a day. The breakfasts and hospitality in this regard were definitely a standout part of the experience. The property itself has its strengths. The bathrooms are nicely updated, the room was refreshed daily, the water pressure was good, and housekeeping kept everything smelling clean. Just note that the standard refresh service does not include changing the sheets each day. Because it is a historic home, the room stayed fairly warm, and while the shower had good water pressure, the temperature never became especially hot or cold. The television also only offered DirecTV, so if you're accustomed to streaming services or a smart TV, that's something to be aware of. Overall, the inn is charming, the breakfasts were excellent, and it's located in a great neighborhood. However, the disorganized check-in process and inconsistent communication made what should have been a relaxing vacation start on a stressful note.

Breakfast had small variety of fruit, yogurt, pastries, and cereals. There also were eggs, a meat, and breakfast potatoes. You could also request they make an omelet. Due to my work schedule I did not get to try any of the evening cocktails and appetizer. Jowever they did offer fruit infused water daily and that was refreshing on a hot Arizona day. The gym was spacious. Parking lot is a strange design.

The girls at the bar are awesome, keeping up with orders, tidying up every chance they get, and serving dinner for those patrons who choose to dine in. The gym is spacious and offers variety of weights (dumbbells and weighted balls), weight bench, treadmills, ellipticals, and space to stretch and exercise on your own. The room I had on the 1st floor had a living room, dining area/study, bedroom, and large bathroom with closet. The room was great! Laundry rooms are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Coins are available at the front desk and laundry supplies you can get at the CVS next door. There is a Starbucks around the corner also and it was convenient for last minute items. Parking is typically paid for, but because I was here in a work trip, we had a block of rooms for our group and parking was included.

The resort itself is beautiful, with a modernist exterior and interior columns clearly meant to resemble saguaro cacti. I wasn't able to fully explore the grounds due to the heat, but there's a good mix of curated and wild trails. The pool area is extensive and they show movies at the pool at night. The lobby and bar area is huge and was a pleasant place to sit and work or watch the World Cup. I particularly enjoyed watching night hawks hunting over the parking lot at night.

Their famous "bottomless" mimosas found their bottom this year, first one is free, but you pay for additional. I get it, price of everything has gone up so sad but it is understandable. But the stationed buffet is still amazing and bountiful. Literally soup to nuts, the outdoor grill station is a flurry of activity, complete with live music and misters. This brunch is well worth the price and you are encouraged to eat as long as you are able to. It's really enjoyable to observe packed tables with multiple generations of guests who are smiling, laughing, quaffing and eating beautifully crafted dishes that are endless! It's a go to place for special occasions, the property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views, and because of their reputation I believe reservations are a must. If you haven't already been there, I highly encourage you to visit and if have been a prior guest just remember the endless mimosas are a thing of the past. Enjoy

And that is a high factor for safety for me when I go and stay in any gated communities/properties. I've stayed in front of the pool area each time and have not been disturbed by the pool or the freeway noise. The kids have always been happy and so have us adults. There are toys for them to have in the pool. There is a gym as well as an icemaker which are cleaner than most hotel so I'm happy about that as well. The breakfast is fantastic get the waffle, bacon and eggs. He will not regret it. I enjoy the music on the weekends and that you can really enjoy a night under the stars. Shower is good, bed is good, it has a great pool area, a lounge and bar and a pseudo restaurant. All of the grounds seem to be extremely clean and all of the employees that we met were very nice. But Now here is what I really didn't like about the restaurant. They pretty much had one or two things I could eat. The bacon that was ordered was so overcooked like it had been sitting there for a week. I re-ordered a side of bacon two pieces cost four dollars and I had to eat dry toast because they have fake butter.. is it that hard to have real butter and to cook things in Tallow? I couldn't eat most things scrambled eggs, in a bag blended with oil. Fake butter. Potatoes deep-fried in vegetable/canola oil, can't eat seed oils because they tear me up.. .. the food and beverage manager at this establishment and across all of their hotels need to step it up and turn this experience into being a more healthy food option people would appreciate it for sure. Day two didn't eat at the restaurant. I actually found a pop-up tent that deep fries everything in tallow that's where I ate today. I do have to say they didn't have some good employees like Angel, Lexi, Edward and Marcos. Richard seem nice and I expressed my concerns about the food in the restaurant and the door in our room. That was so hard to open after you take a shower. OK, OK, even though I would come back to stay here I do have to let them know, be aware of a few things, the smell when we arrived in our room was overwhelming. And, there was no water in the fridge, although there was a tag to show that we had complementary water. with all that I will still stay at this hotel. Hopefully next time I will be able to eat. I WOULD RECOMMED
