I purchase tires regularly as a result of my high-mileage driving. This particular car is on its fourth set of tires. They most recent set was purchased from a well known chain with a lot of commercials bragging about low prices. Well I am here to say that chain does not compare to the customer service and quality tire I purchased from this Metro 25 franchise. My tires were ordered over the phone and an appointment made to install them the same day. (My tires aren't a common size.) I arrived on time for my appointment and about 1-hr later I was on my way with new tires installed. There was no upselling, much appreciated. Waiting area isn't beautiful, but it was large with plenty of room to move around with other waiting customers. No frills, so bring your own coffee and entertainment if you plan to wait on your car. I would highly recommend this business to friends and clients. They have earned all of my future automotive service needs.

Basically when I went to drive away my car died in their parking lot. I waited a couple hours while they investigated and managed to get it started again but said they couldn't find anything on the Diagnostics so suggested I go to the nearest Volkswagen dealership. It died again on my way home. They didn't help but I managed to get it going again and parked it in their parking lot so I could get them to start it if it died again. The next day it died again before I could get it down the street so I had it towed all the way to Bay City . They ended up replacing the new gas pump that Adams put in because the cap was on it was broken and because they had to follow protocol to figure out the problem. Basically, the diagnostics weren't showing the problem, so it needed persistence. It ended up being the fuel pump sensor. Adams did give me the money back for the replaced fuel pump. I initially dropped it off in October and didn't get my car back until De ember.

There is a widespread misconception that foreign and/or luxury vehicles can only be properly maintained or repaired by their respective dealerships. It may be true that some repair shops do not possess the specialized skills and tools necessary to care for these vehicles. However, Tuffy's in Mount Pleasant has provided superior and inexpensive service for my fastidious Land Rover LR2. On my most recent visit, I had extensive work done to my rear differential, the radiator replaced, coolant leaks repaired, spark plugs replaced, the fuel injection system cleaned, the front differential inspected, an oil change performed and a light replaced. The most commendable aspect of the recent service is that they were unwavering in their price, despite numerous unforeseen setbacks and uncovering of additional damaged parts. They, unquestionably, took a significant financial loss to the tune of hundreds of dollars (possibly $1,000+) in the course of the above repairs. They wrote-off in excess of $800 in parts that were later found to be in need of repair, provided probably about 5 times the amount of labor billed for, waived many diagnosis fees and threw in a few of the smaller items for free. The above repairs cost me about $1750, but I am confident that Land Rover would have charged me in excess of $4,000 for the same repairs. Historically, there have been other repairs that I got done at Tuffy for 50% or less of what Land Rover quoted me. My experience with Land Rover Farmington Hills, on the other hand, has not been favorable. When I had a faulty PCV valve that resulted in a horrifically loud and high-pitched screech (but only after driving for 1-2 hours), they threw thousands of dollars of new parts at it while charging extensive diagnostic fees, only to have the problem unresolved. They had the vehicle for over 3.5 weeks time, would rarely return my calls, and never drove it enough for the symptom to present. Eventually, I brought it in to them after the symptom presented, but it took a collaboration of 3-4 technicians there to be able to figure out what the problem was.

The sales team helped me track down the car I had been wanting for months. The managers, Ethan and Clayton, helped to find the perfect vehicle for me, even with very specific requirements. They provided great information about the products they offer and helped to find the best options for me. The dealership offered in-house financing through my preferred bank, which was so much easier than having to go to a bank myself! My car was inspected by the service department and the detailer, Chris, did a great job making it look new again for me before I brought it home! Less than two months after purchasing, I had to bring the car to the Bodyshop. They had the repair done in just over a week, worked closely with the insurance companies, and my car looks brand-new again! Vince, Zach, and all of the bodyshop technicians did a great job! I drove into Michigan from San Diego and hit a deer on my way in. I dropped my vehicle off on June 5th for repairs and was promised it would take about a week to repair. It has been postponed so many times and I've been stuck here the whole time. It is now July 9th and I still have no idea when I'll be able to return home. This has cost me a lot of money and stress. Don't ever bring your vehicle here for repairs. It's worth it to drive to another location. read more

After having to call them near the end of the day for an update (they didn't reach out), they informed me that my vehicle needed a $3,700 repair. I approved the work and waited nearly a week for completion. Upon pickup, the same burning odor persisted in the cab. I had to return the truck and leave it again. Their response? The first expensive repair wasn't actually the problem, and I needed an additional $1,100 worth of work - with no guarantee this would resolve the issue. Needing my vehicle for work, I reluctantly approved this second repair. When my husband went to pick up the truck after this second round of repairs, it wouldn't even start and had engine warning lights on. Their response was dismissive despite the fact I'd just spent nearly $5,000 and my truck still wasn't operational. Their solution was simply that they 'needed to diagnose the problem some more.' At this point, I've paid thousands for incomplete repairs, lost valuable time without my vehicle, and received poor communication throughout the process. I expect a repair facility to properly diagnose issues before charging for unnecessary repairs and to deliver a working vehicle when promised."
