We decided to stop in here to see what they have. The shop itself is kind of small, so it's good when it's not busy. You have different kinds of chocolates on one side then you'll find the ice cream all the way in the back. We got 4 different flavors of ice cream: deadhead cherry, double dark bitter chip, pistachio, and maddi banani. My favorite is the double dark bitter chip. I love the taste of dark chocolate and it wasn't too rich. The deadhead cherry is also good, it has a decent amount of cherries in it. Pistachio has real pieces of pistachios and is smooth. Maddi banani has a banana taste. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. We did buy some chocolate truffles. We only ate a few but the quality is excellent. Prices were reasonable. We're out-of-towners and stopped in here on a Saturday night for some ice cream. Really cute shop decked out for Fall. We purchased ice cream (the pumpkin was divine) and the pistachio was delicious, too. I got two scoops in a cup and I think it was less than $4. We left with a couple of carmel apples as well. Salty cookie was a little too salty for me, but I would get the raspberry again. PROS: Great selection of chocolates and ice cream flavors to choose from. Homemade! Local. Reasonably priced. Waffle cones are huge. If you want, they offer an included chocolate malt ball at the bottom of all waffle cones. We chose not to try it because it would have taken up a lot of space in the cone. CONS: Ticket system when you arrive. Meaning you pull a ticket with a number to save your spot in line. At the time I went, it was very busy! Graham's is in a super cute area in downtown Wheaton. I found it a bit strange that you can't see the ice cream that you're ordering like most ice cream places - but the chocolate peanut butter chip ice cream that I chose was AMAZING regardless! It exceeded expectations! There is a good amount of street parking in the area, plus a free parking garage within a block or two. I love Graham's!!! But I am so sad that I could cry right now... While driving home with my bag of goodies in my lap: Dark and milk chocolate covered caramel pretzels, nutty caramel pretzels and nutty chocolate toffee - the bag slid off my lap and my toffee flew to the floor of the car! My husband was driving and pulled over so we could pick it all up. Everything was still wrapped except for my beloved toffee. Our two dogs ride in the car frequently and reminders in the form of hair are often left behind. Let me just say this...I have no shame. If I had been alone, it is alleged that I would have picked off the dog hair and put the toffee back in the bag. My husband, on the other hand, has not only shame, but also self control when it comes to the best chocolate in the world (I don't know how, but he does!). At Geneva, it cost $6something. There's more variety at the Geneva location, understandably since it's their flagship store, and also the oreo nougats are bigger, yet priced the same. I'd highly recommend the soft caramels ($0.39 each) and cherry pistachio nougats. Their caramel apple ($4.25 with peanuts) evoked all the happy pumpkin patch memories of a midwestern girl. I stopped here mostly for the chocolates after reading a writeup in "Candy Industry Magazine." Nice selection, most all of it available in dark or milk chocolate, with some white chocolate options. They do dark chocolate covered toffee, which is rare, and pretty good. They also do soft nougats, which is sort of unusual (they have an odd fruity flavor; I'm still figuring out if I like them). The article mentioned their turtles, which are very nice indeed (available in almond, cashew, or pecan). So far the chocolates are quite good; flavors are intense. I got one of just about everything in dark, plus some ice cream, which ran me a total of about $40. The ice cream was a bit of a letdown, but only because my expectations had been raised by other reviewers. I got peanut butter chocolate chip, dark chocolate, and tiramisu. While I'm very impressed that they had these flavors, this was simply good solid high-quality American style ice cream, nothing very special. The tiramisu was like a sweet coffee ice cream, not recognizable as tiramisu particularly, and the "dark chocolate," which the salesperson described as "intense," was simply a nice enough chocolate ice cream made with quality ingredients. For ice cream, I think I'd rather go to Oberweiss, though I'll reserve final judgment until I get a chance to try their fruit flavors. read more

I've only ever been to the Graham's in Geneva before this, so finding this "don't blink and you'll miss it" outpost was a surprise. Seriously, this location is teeny, like a walk-in closet full of ice cream and chocolates. There are a couple of little tables on the sidewalk, but in the winter they must be surviving on candy sales because there's not a lot of room to stand around inside. The store itself is clean and the employees are courteous. I tried some chocolate fudge and it was excellent. Since Schmidt Pharmacy in Glen Ellyn closed, I was unaware of a place to obtain fudge nearby besides the poor quality fudge found in mall stores. This store definitely fills that niche and the fudge was excellent quality overall. I would definitely return to Graham's. read more

Mmmm....I need a moment to collect my thoughts. I love Graham's! Family owned and operated chocolate store. A wild assortment of chocolates stuffed with chocolate and covered in chocolate. I have to apologize for drooling on the glass whenever I'm there, but I think that's why they keep them behind glass. The staff is very helpful and I think it's the owners daughter that is working every time I'm in there so I know it's in good hands and will stay in Wheaton for a long time (You here me Graham's? You better not go anywhere and make a liar out of me). They are a little on the pricey side but that's the price of quality. They're the Tiffany's of chocolate shops. The ice cream is fantastic! They recently had an ice cream and beer pairing with Two Bros. Brewing Co. at the Geneva Ale House, that was outstanding. I really like Graham's. The people working are always friendly and the chocolate is absolutely amazing. They have the best dark chocolate covered caramels I have ever had (and I've tried many places)! I like the ones with the sea salt on top. The dark chocolate covered cherries are unique and a favorite of my husband's, and the peanut butter diamonds are good too. I have heard that their chocolate covered orange peel and chocolate covered apricots are amazing too- I haven't tried those. The truffles are amazing. I wish they had candy with macadamia nuts and caramel in them-my dad's favorite- but their almond/cashew/pecan chocolate covered caramel pieces (like turtles) are good too. After working here for six years I can also tell you that the place is SPOTLESS! You don't have to worry about any crazy germs here....we bleached everything down every night and had to wear gloves at all times when handling the chocolates. They have tons of stuff! They also have ice cream, but some days they run out of flavors. There isn't much room to sit down and eat your ice cream, they have 1 bench inside and 1 or 2 tables outside. Across the street is an area with tables that have umbrellas and you can sit there and watch the trains while you are licking away at your cone.
