PLEASE READ I have…read morebeen a patient of Doctor Fagelmans for over 5 years. Last year due to switching a family group insurance plan I had to switch doctors, which was upsetting. I spent over a year trying to find another primary care doctor, however I was unable to find anyone that was even close to good as Fagelman is. I now have switched insurance providers JUST to have Dr. Fagelman as my primary care physician. His staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. Every time I come into the office I am greeted with a big hello and smile. Furthermore, they always remember my name! Delita and the receptionists are caring, sweet, and very kind people. They go the extra step to create a relaxing environment where people feel welcomed. The reason why I am writing this is because Fagelman has always taken and extra step while caring for me and my many (thankful) friends I have referred to him. I once showed up unannounced with no appointment and somehow he managed to fit me in. I could tell he was busy in and out of appointments but somehow made time for me. His bedside manors are incredible-I feel very comfortable to talk to him about any issue or concern I may have. Fagelman approaches healthcare in a very cautious and proactive way. When he is treating me or diagnosing me he considers all aspects of my life, previous health issues, and overall wellness into consideration. He sees the larger picture as well as the smaller one! I mentioned during my appointment that going to the doctor gives me anxiety and that I would really appreciate someone taking the time to review my lab results with me after my physical. After my bloodwork and routine physical, instead of receiving a call to discuss my results, I got a phone call from the front desk telling me I owed $375. My immediate reaction was confusion because my annual physical is fully covered by my insurance. Being unexpectedly told I owed hundreds of dollars after what I believed was a covered preventive visit was incredibly stressful. What made the situation worse was the interaction with the front desk. When I expressed my surprise and frustration, the staff member laughed and said something along the lines of, "Sorry, your picture looked so innocent and now you're pissed." That felt completely unprofessional and dismissive, especially given how anxious I already was. They then offered to "discount" the charge to somewhere in the $200 range. After I questioned the bill and went back and forth with them, they ultimately removed the charge entirely. If the fee could simply be waived after I pushed back, it made the whole situation feel arbitrary and left me wondering whether patients who don't question these bills just end up paying them. It honestly felt like a money grab rather than a transparent billing process. What finally pushed me to write this review is that I still had never received a call to go over my lab work or test results, despite specifically asking for one during my appointment. When I called the office myself, I was simply told they would send me a link to access my results online. Then they added that if I wanted someone to actually explain my results in more depth, I would need to schedule *and pay for* another appointment. That was honestly the most disappointing part of the entire experience. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I wanted a physician to spend a few minutes reviewing the bloodwork from my annual physical, especially after I had shared that medical appointments make me anxious. Instead, I was treated like discussing my own health was an additional service that required another visit. Overall, I left feeling dismissed, frustrated, and genuinely hurt. The only proactive phone call I received from this office was about collecting money--not about my health or my results. Between the confusing billing, the unprofessional interaction with the front desk, and the complete lack of follow-up regarding my care, I cannot recommend this practice.

They make a snap decision and write a scrip for something frm Big Pharma. And they are convinced they are right based on this incredible lack of reflection or consideration given to understanding your unique body and human life. Yelp Polina Liss review…read more I do love Dr. Polina as a person. I think she's a curious and smart physician who tries to be on top of medical innovations and naturopathic supplements. She also does notice some issues most doctors won't which is a great thing. But that's about it. I switched to her a few years back mainly to treat Hypothyroidism, thinking she'd be able to advise on holistic treatments. I believe the main issue is the administrative side of her office and her staff is extremely unfocused and disorganized. Basically: you go to one appointment - dr Polina does take the time to listen - and then you are recommended several supplements based on the issues you describe. She's not making money off of them as you just get them yourself later. BUT, there's no follow up whatsoever and she doesn't seem to remember what she told you to take. Not to mention the "treatment" was never written down, just loosely relayed during the appointment, so you always leave confused. So what happens is you spend your money on buying supplements and have to remember to take (several) but you're not sure if they really make any difference as there's no talking about it next time unless you purposefully ask about each. It's not my job to remind her what she prescribed last time! It's like there's not a real treatment in place. And the recommendations feels a bit impulsive and confusing. She claims to be holistic but I don't feel I'm treated as a whole nor that my "treatment" makes sense in the big picture or treating me holistically. It's an "aloof" kind of situation which brings your anxiety up instead of really making your quality of life better. Her staff is quite a mess, majorly her main secretary. She's probably been there for years and acts like the gatekeeper but is not that helpful. Many times specially after pandemics they don't really pick up the phone despite working from their home. You leave a message and no one gets back to you. I'm fine with waiting 1-2 days to hear back, but the thing is they don't get back at all. I've ran out of meds for days now and just gave up. I'll go back to my old doc and get new prescriptions from him instead. Not to mention I don't think she's a specialist in thyroid treatment whatsoever and I'm having horrid symptoms since the last time she changed my meds. Fatigue, wild temperature fluctuations and feel like I'm running on empty. It's actually a good thing I ran out of meds as I can tell some horrid symptoms are gone and it was prob the meds she recommended. With all of this, I'll have to go back to my old Thyroid doctor. While I was with him I never experienced side effects related to my Thyroid. I will always love Dr Polina, she's an amazing caring person. So the 2 stars review. But the lack of follow through and a clear, defined course of treatment on medical issues is making me leave and not wanting to come back. I feel it might be good to see her for some nutritional advice, but not for major illnesses.

Konrad and Olivia came, gave him an IV, he felt so much better and could keep food down which helped him recover so much quicker. Anytime we are under the weather or pre/post travelling we ask them to come. They are both the nicest people, and so caring. When I text them, they respond right away and slot me in for the same day and are always on time. I can't say nicer things about Studio Med. They are truly the best.

I opted to see Dr. Haskins instead of waiting until my regular doctor was back from leave. Dr. Haskins was very thorough, personable, funny, and provided a lot of encouragement regarding some (manageable) health issues with which I sometimes struggle. She helped me to figure out ways to better motivate myself with regard to diet and exercise, and treated me as though I were actually her regular patient, and not someone coming to see her just because her own doctor was out for awhile. If you're looking for a good general care physician, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Haskins specifically, and also One Medical, the practice where she works (they're great!).

It's impossible to talk to the doctor without paying the copay for a visit, and I'm not confident that even that would yield positive results in the form of a medicine being delivered. I've not had this problem with other providers who have staff dedicated to dealing with pharmacies. I feel unheard.
