Grampas is the neighborhood spot for breakfast or brunch. The bagels are homemade & delish. Today I had a burger. Made to the temp I requested. Yummy brioche bun. Good Cole slaw & fresh crispy fries. Sundays are busy.

Don't get in my way when I need some carbs. The sign led me to the location of bagels and more. I was transported into a deli with comforts all around. I opted for a plain bagel and cream cheese. There is something for everyone! The line goes fast and the food comes out hot and well toasted. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Grampa's Cafe is such a hidden gem in Dania Beach! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is cozy, artsy, and welcoming. It has that perfect mix of laid-back neighborhood spot and trendy brunch hangout. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Their breakfast options are huge, but not complaining, and delicious. The coffee we had a shaken hazelnut latte yum!--exactly what i wanted to start my day. Everything tastes homemade with real attention to detail. We tried the Hungry man on an egg everything bagel and my daughter had the The Classic on everything Bagel and our boy had chicken tenders and fries. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a long brunch with friends, it's the perfect spot. If you're in Dania and looking for a chill place with great food and cool vibes, Grampa's Kitchen is definitely worth checking out!

We stopped by here to get breakfast and everything was super good. Service was great and diner vibes.

We stopped in here for breakfast well more like brunch. My daughter and I had breakfast while my husband had a cheeseburger. We all enjoyed our food. My daughter loved her bagel, and she said she could taste the freshness. Our server Sam was friendly, quick and very attentive, which made our experience that much better.

We stopped into Grampa's for breakfast after hearing great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! Our waiter Sam was fantastic -- extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the food, and even gave us great tips about the local area. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. When you come, ask for Sam! He made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming -- a perfect blend of classic diner and New York-style deli charm. The smell of fresh bagels and baked goods hits you the second you walk in, and everything looks delicious. The portions here are huge so we shared. The French toast was golden and fluffy, the bacon crispy, and the home fries perfectly seasoned with a little kick of flavor. The menu is loaded with great options -- omelets, benedicts, avocado toast, and an entire bakery case full of bagels, pastries, and rugelach. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Between the friendly service, generous portions, and incredible food, Grampa's is an absolute gem in Dania Beach. It's the kind of place you wish you could bring home with you. Ask for Sam when you go -- you won't be disappointed!

We had 3 hours to kill since the flight kept getting delayed so we took a drive down Federal Hwy. Saw a sign on the street Grampa's Bakery, so we decided to go for a coffee and pastry. Ok... no bakery on premise but this place has been around forever serving great breakfast and deli. Located right off of SW 1st in Dania Beach, this is one of the last South Florida bagel delis and dinners. I heard they closed for a while but they're back serving fresh bagels and from what the server told us... great breakfast. I was impressed with how spotless it was. Cappuccino was excellent and so was the peach rugelach. We got there about 49 minutes before they closed and everyone inside couldn't have been nicer. Definitely on my list to go back for breakfast.

I had driven past Grampa's Cafe so many times, but every time I was in the area it was late and they were closed. I finally decided to go during the day for breakfast, and now I have been twice and absolutely love it. The place is very spacious and parking has been easy every time I have gone. They seated me almost immediately on both visits. I have only gone during the week, so I can imagine weekends might be busier with less parking and seating available. Now the important part, the food. It is delicious and the portions are huge. The bagels are literally the size of your hand. If you eat the bagel alone, that is already a full meal. The first time I went, I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs and home fries. I paid extra to add bacon and it came with a bagel. I also got coffee and a cinnamon muffin that was so good I forced myself to finish it even though I was completely full. When something is that good, you just commit. I also took a Reuben sandwich to go for my dad and he said it was one of the best Reubens he has ever had. He was so happy we found this place. The second time, I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel with home fries. The service was unreal. I immediately spilled a cup of water and multiple staff members came over to help me, brought me a new plate, and made sure everything was taken care of. They were incredibly kind and attentive. Pricing is a little on the higher side for breakfast. You are probably looking at $18 to $25 if you get coffee and factor in tip. But honestly, the portions are generous and the quality is there, so it feels worth it. The staff is super friendly, the space is clean and nice inside, and the vibe is very chill. It has a little bit of a New York feel to it in the best way. If you are in Fort Lauderdale, I would definitely recommend going. You are going to get amazing food and leave very full and very happy.

Great service. Good food. Clean. Always packed with a ton of people. My only wish is that they would have kept the breakfast bar

This bakery/restaurant came highly recommended for authentic Jewish bagels so since we were in the area, we decided to pop in on a Tuesday afternoon. Several people were inside having lunch and the bakery line was 2 customers deep. Wasn't too long of a wait until our turn and we wanted to try their bagels since we were told it was second to none in the area. The bagels are $2.00 a piece and there are no discounts for half dozen or bakers dozen. We picked 4 bagels: cinnamon raisin, egg, onion, and garlic just to try out since it was our first time in. We also got the Philadelphia cream cheese with lox. I used to live near a Jewish area in Philadelphia that had authentic Jewish bagels so I am very familiar with them. When I bit into Grampa's cinnamon raisin bagel, it took me on a trip down memory lane back to Jenkintown, Philadelphia. The bagels had a crusty crisp exterior, with a soft, chewy interior. They tasted freshly baked and were absolutely GINORMOUS! I didn't even get to take a pic of the cinnamon raisin bagel before it was devoured in seconds. That's how good they are! Make no mistake, these are definitely second to none around these parts of Florida. So glad we stopped in....they have a breakfast and lunch menu as well as a small market area to the right of the store when you walk in and a refrigerator case selling cage free eggs at $3.99 a dozen, cream cheese spreads sold by the pound, thinly sliced lox, & a nice selection of salad bar items to choose from. We will definitely be back to try out their other offerings. What a gem!

Came here yesterday thanks to a recommendation from our hotel attendant. We arrived around noon and this place is not only huge but totally packed with a line. We checked in and waited about 15 minutes before they called us. While waiting we walked around inside because aside from being a restaurant they have an area where you can purchase pastries and they also have a deli with different types of salads and other things I've never seen before. We split a hot pastrami and corned beef sandwich and split one of their huge everything bagels with a side of cream cheese. The sandwich doesn't come with fries so we ordered a side of fries. The sandwich was very delicious and definitely more than enough for one person to eat and now I understand why it doesn't come with fries. It also came with a whole pickle which I guess is house made because it was honestly one of the most delicious pickles I've ever had and tasted a lot like cucumber and I loved it. Our bagel seemed to be slightly burnt but I didn't complain and still enjoyed the smoke flavor. John was our server, he had many tables and did a fantastic job of attending all his customers (this guy was truly a pro). I would go again and would love to try something from the deli next time.

Grampa's Cafe has a charming, welcoming vibe and a solid menu. We ordered the Caesar Salad Wrap, which was a bit dry and lacked flavor, but the California Chicken Wrap was fresh and tasty. The real standout was the Bacon, Egg & Cheese with Chive Cream Cheese--absolutely amazing! Warm, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Service was friendly and quick, and while not every item hit the mark, the highlights definitely made it worth the visit. We'll be back to try more!

Came to Grampa's Cafe in the early morning on my way to a symposium because I had heard great things. The ambiance is that of a regular diner, nothing special. The service was friendly and attentive, although I believe the silverware was plastic. My Pastrami, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich was sinful and delectable. The home fries that came with them were good, just needed to add a bit of salt. The coffee was very good as well. I would return for that sandwich alone if I were in the area, but I'm curious about the other menu items as well.

Super disappointed with this place…read more Pros: The potatoes and eggs were good & the hot sauce has great flavor! Cons: First thing I did was use the restroom which had a horrible smell and the toilet needed cleaning. The service was good at first then fell off after we ordered our food- which was strange because it was not busy at all. We ordered the screwdriver & peach Bellini to drink. Steak & eggs and the Untoasted breakfast + side of ham. The screwdriver had an odd taste & the ham was extremely soft/squishy/seemed uncooked internally. The steak was not cooked well- but acceptable enough to eat. Our server never checked on us after we got our food which sucks because we needed a few things. A different server ended up walking by much later and asked if we needed help which is when I told her I'd like to send back the ham and screwdriver- both of which I barely took a bite/sip out of. I just told her I didn't like them and she got a bit of an attitude and wanted specifics as to why I didn't like it. I just reiterated i didn't like it and won't be consuming either so please take it back. We finished our food and no one ever came to our table again- while the workers were walking around helping the 5 other tables or talking amongst themselves. After sitting for 15+ minutes with our finished food, I just went to the front and waited for someone to check us out. I don't recommend this place and will not be back.

Unfortunately, the service has been very inconsistent -- truly hit or miss. The food itself is adequate overall, and the breakfast buffet (which is included) has been good. The buffet items are fresh, and the past two mornings we've had a lovely server who was attentive and pleasant. However, other aspects of the service have been frustrating. Despite being here multiple days, staff have repeatedly struggled to pronounce a very simple name -- JILL -- instead calling out "Geo" or "Byron." At one point I didn't even realize they were attempting to call me, and we were passed over. It's a small thing, but after several days, it starts to feel careless. One evening I ordered a cheeseburger -- just cheese, well done. I clearly and politely stated (three times) no onions, no peppers, no pickles. The server didn't write it down. The burger arrived undercooked and bloody, loaded with onions, peppers, and pickles. I had to send it back. That kind of mistake is avoidable with basic attention to detail. Another night, despite the restaurant being half empty, we were told the kitchen was shutting down for an hour because it was backed up and they didn't have enough wait staff. It was a holiday weekend -- one would think staffing would be planned accordingly. As hotel guests, we're somewhat of a captive audience, so that was disappointing. Overall, the breakfast buffet has been the highlight, and when the service is good, it's very good. But the inconsistency, lack of organization, and poor communication have left us frustrated. Lesson learned -- we'll be dining elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. Oh the view is great !!!
