The reviews i have seen here are hot and cold but i feel that some context is needed. From the perspective of a cigar smoker in town staying at a hotel in walking distance ìts great. There is a bit of a mark up and the guy there keeps an eye on you but it beats fighting traffic to get to another shop. It can be off putting with the guy with you in the humidor but interestingly, i said "i like to take my time, are you in a rush?". He said no, mellowed out and helped me find some good cigars. The guy actually smokes cigars and is just trying to earn a living in a high cost area, i can respect that.

Excellent selection of Belgian ales in bottles. The Guinness on tap is usually fresh because they sell a lot of it. I would be wary about ordering wine here. The experience here depends largely on the bartenders. Two are great. One so-so. One is terrible: has a bad attitude and a filthy mouth. If I see she's working, I head back out the door. One bartender is pleasant enough but uses a stick to scrape the head off a glass of a beer and then puts it into his back pocket. That doesn't seem like a sanitary practice. They close out all tabs during shift change. Convenient for the staff, not for patrons.
