This place is so authentic. The meat was excellent good. Maybe the best rib-eye in my life. The price is also okey. Vi paid 1600 peso for 3 persons. We eat a lot and drink a lot of wine. The staff? Yes they were amazing and very helpfull.

Such a nice dining experience. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. It has a nice environment for people looking to dine on some fabulous food and enjoy one another's company. Eat slow because it's a lot of food! You start off with bread and this delicious bean mixture. We then ordered a couple of salads to start- it was a generous portion. Between my party we got our own entrees but definitely could have gotten just 3 to split between the 5 of us. My friends ordered medallion, chicken skewers, and myself a ribeye. Like I said- a lot of food and no one finished it. I ordered a fried egg for my steak- I recommend it! The skewers came with amazing waffle fries. We also ordered some potatoes. Everything, I mean everything had wonderful flavors. Grilled smokiness on the skewers, juicy steaks, fresh fries... I'd go back in a heart beat. We also enjoyed a red blend wine that was smooth as could be. We arrived around 8:30 on a Wednesday and it gradually got very busy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Walking distance to some of the surrounding hotels.

Achuras (sweetbreads, chitlings, blood sausage, kidney and chorizo), always guaranteed to make an impression. Healthy squeeze o' lemon plz.

Went here on a Monday night when most other stuff in the neighborhood was closed. It was jumping. After about a 15 minute wait, the host came by and offered us and another couple champagne for the wait. In about 10 minutes we got our table. Our waiter was excellent despite the fact that the place was packed. He made a fantastic wine recommendation for our meal selections. I got the attention of all the tables around us by ordering the traditional Achuras (chitlings, blood sausage, kidney and chorizo) and we split a fried provoletta cheese which came with a delicious bacony ham cut and roasted red pepper to start. The achuras were pretty good for what they were. The main was a big beef rib that we had seen being carried around. The beef rib was not the best, but it was really interesting to try nonetheless and we had filled up on . After dinner our waiter offered us more free champagne and a limoncello after dinner drink. Would definitely come back here.

amazing steakhouse in BA! we went during lunch time and it's packed but luckily no wait. the baby beef is very good, tender and juicy. we also got the half portion intestine, it is quite fatty, the outside is cripsy and good. the portion is pretty big. they also give you some pickled beans to start with, the sauces that comes with the steak are great too. not sure if it was just a mistake or it was done on purpose for tourists, but when we got the bill, i'm glad i looked it over, there are so many different charges, and they charged us for 2 scoops of ice cream and a dessert that we did not order (essentially charging us 30% over our bill), not sure if they think we don't understand Spanish and would not catch these (but being a foodie, i know my food and especially desserts in Spanish)

I just ate here at the beginning of August 2018. We ate on a Saturday evening around 8:30pm. It wasn't very crowded when we arrived but it quickly filled up. I had Beefe de Lomo, Proveleta and a spinach and cheese dish. They were all very good. I'd eat here again. The portions seem to be tailored for people in groups though.

By far the best place I've eat here I Buenos Aires thus far. Service impeccable, attentive, friendly awesome. Was told Obama recently ate here. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this place! My new favorite!

The best part is that this is a locals restaurant, and it has such a great feel. The minute you walk inm you are welcomed by a friendly staff and led to a table, we chose upstairs and were quickly seated. Our waiter was friendly and jovial, and spoke great english. He recommended a Malbec, and then we ordered a bunch of food, which came quickly. As we dined, the placed filled up quickly, and looking around, there was not an empty table in the place- upstairs or down. The restaurnat has an Italian family feel, white table cloths and worn, but classy china. Plus the grill is amazing. The portions here are massive. And that's coming from someone who can usually put away a pretty serious steak. Here, though It's a lot even for me. Was it good Absolutely. But a little heads-up if you're visiting: learn how Argentinians order their meat. If you ask for jugoso, it'll land somewhere between rare and medium rare. Al punto is closer to medium, sometimes even leaning toward medium well depending on the kitchen. And well done. Honestly... don't even think about it. Another tip: don't rush to order sides. Unless you're just getting a salad or you're sharing with more than two people, one plate is usually more than enough. Around here, they believe in feeding you properly and they definitely deliver.

While this place has been here since 1962, the first time I came was in 1993. I love it here because it is a classic, old-school restaurant, between the decor, the waiters and the grill as you walk in. The service has gone downhill a bit over the last couple of years, but I find that if you connect with your waiter when you finally get him to your table, he will check on you more often. They have a great wine list as well. The steaks are some of the best I have had, and I love that they bring your steak on a steel plate over a charcoal fire- do not let them take the grill- I love putting the fat on there to render away and then ladle it over my steak- so much better than butter! The fries are to die for, as is the Morcilla- so good and creamy- if you like that! I am usually too full for dessert, but I recently had their ice cream- so good and creamy!

We showed up at 7 and by 8:30 the place was packed and people were going to the upstairs dinign area. This is a beautiful restaurant with an incredible aura about it. Easy to tell who the regulars were as they were called by first name. We tried to chnage up our appitizers from the first night. We came here so my husband could try the steak so tender, it's ceremoniously cut with a spoon. I'm not a big time meat eater, so I had the provolneta (too salty and charred) and some pasta with tomato sauce. The food was okay, but the prices were ridiculous. We skipped desert, partly because the prices on the deserts were more than some of the entrees. A big red flag. One of the things we did not appreciate was this awkward moment when it seemed like they were trying to give us alcohol we didn't order. Neither my husband or I drinks, so we had to explain that we didn't want it. The spaghetti I ordered was bare bones pasta with tomato sauce. I was really expecting a more elevated dish for the prices we paid. My husband said his steak was good, but definitely not worth the hype this place has. While the soccer memorabilia was fun to look at, the weirdness of the meal and this constant feeling that we were going to be charged for things we didn't want or the surreptitious way the desert was more expensive than some entrees really kept us on our guard. I would steer clear of this place. We had many enjoyable and wonderful dining experiences in BA and this one was a total outlier. Not worth the stress for sure.

Restaurants. apartments, shops and lots of young people enjoying themselves. We walked inside this beautiful Steakhouse and elected to sit outside where we could enjoy the beautiful view and atmosphere in lovely warm weather. Let me be frank.... Walking into a beautiful Michelin restaurant is pretty much the same around the world. You walk in with a smile and high expectations.
