Other than perhaps a future root canal might be needed, but they were so thorough and kind. I would certainly go here all the time if I lived here. Being new to the Granbury area, I used my Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider directory to find an in…read morenetwork dentist. The dentist listed for Great Expressions Dental Center here in Granbury was DDS Higgins. During the initial visit and consultation for my and my son's evaluation I asked for DDS Higgins but was told he wasn't currently available but there was another dentist available. We were evaluated by the young dentist Nikhila Alsakani who was very friendly and polite as well as the hygienist. After the evaluation, they provided a treatment plan for both my son and myself. I had a molar that wasn't bothering me but she said needed a crown due to it having a crack. Ok, she's the dentist right? I've had nothing but pain and sensitivity since and haven't eaten on that side of my mouth since. Nikhila said my son needed cleaning, fillings, wisdom teeth removals and 2 root canals with crowns. They scheduled everything over 5 visits with each of the 3 dentist in the office scheduled for different visits. They had my son come in all the way from Fort Worth for his wisdom teeth appointment with Holland Morrison who basically said he wouldn't want to do the impacted tooth without my son being under anesthesia and he'd refer my son to someone else. Holland Morrison isnt in the Granbury office full time but he had 2+ weeks to review X-rays but didn't have the decency to call us to just refer my son before my son drove 50 miles for an appointment that they never even planned on servicing. Hoping it was just a one-off blunder, we returned for his fillings and to verify that DDS Higgins would do the second root canal and crown as scheduled. After the fillings, they slipped us a referral for the root canal to another DDS office. Finally found out that DDS Higgins who has tons of experience and was the reason we initially went to this office, no longer even works there. Very dishonest office. What a bait and switch. The staff are super friendly but friendliness can't make up for dishonesty and extreme unprofessionalism. If it's anything other than a basic cleaning or filling, I'd avoid this off like the plague. Not trustworthy or honest.

My second visit at Fall Creek Dental with Dr. McFadden was such a welcome surprise. Always before, at other dentists, although they use the numbing gel first, the numbing shot still stings at least. However, when Dr. McFadden numbed my gums, I did not even feel the needle, let alone the shot. I was amazed. She pulled my tooth and I never felt any pain afterwards. I have definitely found my dentist from now on. The staff at Fall Creek Dental is great as well. Very welcoming and personable. They always keep me informed about my appointment. The next few days I noticed pain on my left side upper jaw (only had top wisdom teeth) and called, I'd have to pay over $100 to be seen so I tried to figure it out myself. My pocket wasn't stitched appropriately! Now, almost a year later, I have a gap between my tooth and gum, a little pocket, how fun. Once I got my bill in it stated I owed an additional $450. For what? No idea. Upon further inspection; one screw up they had, they quoted 2 hours of anesthesia when I was brought back and texted my fiancé I was done within 30 minutes. Mmm explain! No explanation was given. Sent that bill to collections which they knew I was having my insurance review it and don't owe them a dime until a year out from the procedure. The front desk girl, she's a real piece of work, extremely rude and hangs up on people. Stay far away from this chain.
