The lady that helped me on the phone was very cordial and helpful but when I called the second time a man named Eldon answered and left me on hold for 15 mins. So I drove to there location and was still on hold when I walked in the door I let them know I was still on hold and he rudely responded to me no you hung up on me. Another man had actually answered the phone and asked me what he could help me with and I let him know I was already being helped by Eldon so he put me back on hold. Very dissapointed as I am a local and have lived here in Amarillo for over 35 years and I was told that super appliance was a local family owned business. So now I actually need to buy a dryer. I will be buying it from a local business not a chain as I believe in supporting our local businesses. However it will not be Super Appliance and I will never patronize them again.

The fella came out, disassembled the refrigerator and said he thought it needed a new fan motor and would order one and come back to replace it. So we waited (crickets) and called back and he said the fan motor would come in by Monday (this was Wednesday) (again crickets). Called again....again...and again..... Soooo we called Circle N Appliance and they were here that day, looked at the refrigerator, plugged it in, didn't see anything wrong with it. He said he thought that maybe the motor froze because food was covering the fan (admittedly it was, duh on our par). So he put the refrigerator back together and didn't charge us a penny. Guess where we're buying our next appliance...

I took two fans to Reid's yesterday. The fans are shaped like Monkeys so I was really sad when they…read moreboth stopped working. They were not sure that the fans could be fixed but they were willing to take a look. I just got a call that they cleaned to clean the motors and were able to get both fans running again. I am so glad in our disposable society that there are still places like Reid's who repair appliances.

A couple of weeks later a fridge was delivered and now my mom who is older no loner has to try and get down on her knees and get things out of the bottom drawers. She is so happy. I called the store, spoke with the manager and he was passively apologetic. He sounded more like talking to a a customer was more of an annoyance than really caring about taking care of the customer. The Plumber asked about the anti tip bracket and I told him there wasn't one. Called back and the manager answered again and instead of recognizing the need for the safety device, he was dismissive, and codesigning. The manager brought the anti tip bracket and was rude about it. I buy local when I can but will never buy from them again.
