One Night Stay,…read more Contractors were in my house earlier that day and left the place quite a mess. They were coming back the next day to finish the work and clean up. I had a free night available and decided to use it for a one-night stay. Check-in was seamless and quick, and I received a nice King room with a pull-out bed. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Wifi worked great and was easy to connect to. The only issue I had was with one of the reading lights. The lamp worked but the reading light on one side of the bed didn't work. The other did, so no big deal. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with meat, eggs, oatmeal, fruits, cereals, etc. Overall a great one-night stay with no issues.

I warned the booking staff that my sister (other guest) is insomniac -- they assured me the room was quiet. It was loud, and the 2nd room we got in change was equally loud. We were too tired to change hotels so we stayed. The traffic become louder and louder as night set on. Noise from hall audible all night. I normally sleep like a rock, but even I could not sleep. My sister did not sleep even a wink and was even more exhausted in the morning. Bathroom was generally unclean -- mould on sink and tub & curtain safety hazards. Computer chair was broken, threw me off as soon as I sat on it. Alarm clock was broken, completely out of service. We were bitten overnight and itchy all day nect day. Possibly bedbugs? The fan/air conditioner was unhygenic covered in dust - had a chunk of bread stuck on it -- and did not turn off for an hour (had to call front desk), intermittantly turned on in the middle of the night. Food was disgusting, with 2 hairs found in omlette. :) Front desk just told us we should have left and have only ourselves to blame. :) Hotel manager Mohammed had no apologies, only lots of excuses and backing up of his horrendous staff.

I usually stay at the Knights Inn (down the street) when I come up here but this time (I guess b/c Nuit Blanche) they were booked so I gave this place a try. The rooms were the most reasonable in the area for what you get. I stopped at other motels down Kingston Rd to check out rates and quality and they were shit holes for even higher rates. This motel is a little run down and obviously some shady characters staying here but the room was surprisingly clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. The husband and wife who own this place are helpful and amicable. They have flat screen TV's in the rooms which were functioning well and you get free wifi and local calling when you stay here. The wifi wasn't bad, it worked for what I needed it for but at times crapped out and I had to reset it (on my phone- reconnect it). Everything overall functioned well and it's a good value for just needing a place for the night

The owners are very polite and friendly. I had to stay there for awhile so once we moved out I was actually sad to leave the place. Now we visit quite often and stay for approx 3 days at a time. I love it here now. The new owners have redone everything from the floors to walls etc. They even upgraded the tv's from the everyday tv to a flatscreen mounted on the wall. The rooms are much more cleaner and more inviting.

Employees saying they are the manager and when asked where the ice machine is or a microwave they have no idea. None of the ice machines work. Employees had us going through the whole hotel just to find a ice machine and not a single one worked. Right as we got to our room we noticed mold right across our room. When we were looking for ice every floor was moulding not just ours. There is no housekeeping here...... or they just don't work. Asked for them to help with the internet which wasn't working another negative. Never got fixed.... after all these problems we asked for a refund. He wouldn't give it to us lied and said he was the manager. Now we are dealing with it through booking.com. Do not ever ever go here. The price isn't even the lowest. More negatives. -lots of druggies and people walking around. everyone has a sliding back door to use to go smoke and people talk really loud while you sleep. Some guy was on a trip out side screaming at a wall) - bathtub looks gross. - bad service - no room service or cleaners. - place is disgusting and very un safe - no microwaves to heat up food. After asking for a refund. Which he could have given me one but tried to make every excuse in the world( but I'm not dumb) first one was "Once you have been here for 15 mins no refund." Then it was " sorry I mean once you pass 8 hrs no refund" I asked where does it say this. "No where that's where" i said no refund. That's final. Then it was you have to get the refund through booking.com.... so I called them they said nope have to go through them. Booking called him. They then called me back and said take pictures of everything and send it to us we will get your money back. Note: we arrived at 1pm to drop our stuff off and leave. We came back after eating around 5. Slept for. A hour and then. 4 ours of dealing with this service and everything. I shouldn't have to take pictures of stuff to get my money back. How can you give rooms to people looking like this. Also asked to be moved to a different room he said there is no others and asked us to leave.... yah not happening till. I get my money. We are already dealing with covid no one should have to worry about mold in a hotel.

Elevator was broken and the entire place just looked like a house if ill repute! After being on the road for 16 hours I expected something better. CONSIDERING THE PICTURES ON THE INTERNET WERE OF ANOTHER HOTEL! It smelled horrible too. I had never been so happy to see the Best Western down the road. It was like Mecca! This place needs to be closed.

This hotel was an average pet friendly hotel and worth the price we paid.. which at the time was…read more135 for 2 nights ! It was also only 40 dollars per STAY for my dog.. which was reasonable. The most we paid at other hotels was $15.00 a night. Checking in was super easy and the women at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room location apparently got changed when they realized we had a dog(which I noted in the online reservations), which I was fine with but come to find out the room was pretty much in the basement.... I was bummed about this at first but I got used to it(don't worry we still had windows). The room was recently remodeled.. you could tell it wasn't completely done. I really liked that the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had bright lighting(which I loved for applying make up), decent closet space to hang some items and spacious rooms. I also liked that the hotel was pet friendly, had a super friendly staff, had free breakfast(which consisted of breads/bagels, juice, cereal and muffins) OH and there is also free parking which is another plus ! Now what I didn't like about the hotel was the basement rooms(it felt creepy at times, especially with the hotel still doing renovations), the side doors were kept open consistently which made me feel unsafe at times, there was no second lock on the door like other hotels usually have, only one low stocked vending machine on property and the wifi..... ohhh the wifi. The wifi wasn't really all that great.... I'm thinking that maybe it was because we were in the basement. It was really unfortunate that the wifi didn't work all that well for us because we really needed it. Hopefully that will change once all the renovations are 100 percent complete. OK, final note... if you happen to be traveling with a dog, you're not super picky and you can get a decent rate on this hotel ... book it.

Booking you're stay at this hotel will be the worst decision youll ever make (let me tell you why) checking-in took forever and there was two lines for checking-In. The staff was friendly no issues on that end but after having to wait 30minutes to check-in you'd expect the staff to be friendly, that's the least they can do after waiting for 30minutes. Front lobby was clean-elevators are near by and it took forever to come..how frustrating I just wanted to get to my room!! when the elevator finally came and I got to my floor (4th floor) the elevator "jumped up" before opening. Arriving to my room I immediately noticed how small the room was, I am 5'5 and only 100 pounds and the room is small for me!! Can it get any worse? YES wallpaper throughout the room was peeling off or completely ripped off-the ceilings had stains and damanges-there was mold all over the bathtub!! I didn't use the bathroom during my stay that's how dirty it was and the sink in the bathroom has draining issues-towels in bathroom: what towels?? you get two paper thin 100 year old towels and the bed get ready for a sleepless night the mattress is also 100 years old!! After all that youd think the free breakfast would make up for the miserable stay..who are you kidding?? ofcourse not, I skipped my breakfast and went to Tim Hortants. Why you ask? The breakfast is located in a "small room" and all the customers have to fit in this small room its ofcourse OVERCROWDED no room to come in no room to exist no room to move..once i seen that I decided to save myself the headache and head to Timmy's, I am sure I didnt miss out on anything special. I enjoyed my Tim Hortants Do not book your stay here!! I checked on Priceline and seen that this hotel is advertising for $550 for 1 night, HAHA IS THIS A JOKE?? What idiot would pay that for this hotel. This hotel should be advertising for $50 a night. I will NEVER return
