One Night Stay,…read more Contractors were in my house earlier that day and left the place quite a mess. They were coming back the next day to finish the work and clean up. I had a free night available and decided to use it for a one-night stay. Check-in was seamless and quick, and I received a nice King room with a pull-out bed. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. Wifi worked great and was easy to connect to. The only issue I had was with one of the reading lights. The lamp worked but the reading light on one side of the bed didn't work. The other did, so no big deal. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with meat, eggs, oatmeal, fruits, cereals, etc. Overall a great one-night stay with no issues.

I warned the booking staff that my sister (other guest) is insomniac -- they assured me the room was quiet. It was loud, and the 2nd room we got in change was equally loud. We were too tired to change hotels so we stayed. The traffic become louder and louder as night set on. Noise from hall audible all night. I normally sleep like a rock, but even I could not sleep. My sister did not sleep even a wink and was even more exhausted in the morning. Bathroom was generally unclean -- mould on sink and tub & curtain safety hazards. Computer chair was broken, threw me off as soon as I sat on it. Alarm clock was broken, completely out of service. We were bitten overnight and itchy all day nect day. Possibly bedbugs? The fan/air conditioner was unhygenic covered in dust - had a chunk of bread stuck on it -- and did not turn off for an hour (had to call front desk), intermittantly turned on in the middle of the night. Food was disgusting, with 2 hairs found in omlette. :) Front desk just told us we should have left and have only ourselves to blame. :) Hotel manager Mohammed had no apologies, only lots of excuses and backing up of his horrendous staff.

Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating; be nice at a minimum and you'll get that in return. This is my first visit to this Travelodge. I'm only here to visit guests staying in 2 rooms and they said the rooms were nice so I can't speak first-hand of the experience.  Just keeping my social distance with the COVID-19 situation and the safety of all. This hotel has free parking for guests but paid parking for others; pay and display. WiFi and breakfast are included with the stay.

I booked my stay at this hotel for 1 night. I am so glad it…read morewas only for 1 night because if I would've booked longer than that i would be crying in the corner feeling ripped off!! Booking you're stay at this hotel will be the worst decision youll ever make (let me tell you why) checking-in took forever and there was two lines for checking-In. The staff was friendly no issues on that end but after having to wait 30minutes to check-in you'd expect the staff to be friendly, that's the least they can do after waiting for 30minutes. Front lobby was clean-elevators are near by and it took forever to come..how frustrating I just wanted to get to my room!! when the elevator finally came and I got to my floor (4th floor) the elevator "jumped up" before opening. Arriving to my room I immediately noticed how small the room was, I am 5'5 and only 100 pounds and the room is small for me!! Can it get any worse? YES wallpaper throughout the room was peeling off or completely ripped off-the ceilings had stains and damanges-there was mold all over the bathtub!! I didn't use the bathroom during my stay that's how dirty it was and the sink in the bathroom has draining issues-towels in bathroom: what towels?? you get two paper thin 100 year old towels and the bed get ready for a sleepless night the mattress is also 100 years old!! After all that youd think the free breakfast would make up for the miserable stay..who are you kidding?? ofcourse not, I skipped my breakfast and went to Tim Hortants. Why you ask? The breakfast is located in a "small room" and all the customers have to fit in this small room its ofcourse OVERCROWDED no room to come in no room to exist no room to move..once i seen that I decided to save myself the headache and head to Timmy's, I am sure I didnt miss out on anything special. I enjoyed my Tim Hortants Do not book your stay here!! I checked on Priceline and seen that this hotel is advertising for $550 for 1 night, HAHA IS THIS A JOKE?? What idiot would pay that for this hotel. This hotel should be advertising for $50 a night. I will NEVER return

I usually stay at the Knights Inn (down the street) when I come up here but this time (I guess b/c Nuit Blanche) they were booked so I gave this place a try. The rooms were the most reasonable in the area for what you get. I stopped at other motels down Kingston Rd to check out rates and quality and they were shit holes for even higher rates. This motel is a little run down and obviously some shady characters staying here but the room was surprisingly clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. The husband and wife who own this place are helpful and amicable. They have flat screen TV's in the rooms which were functioning well and you get free wifi and local calling when you stay here. The wifi wasn't bad, it worked for what I needed it for but at times crapped out and I had to reset it (on my phone- reconnect it). Everything overall functioned well and it's a good value for just needing a place for the night

The owners are very polite and friendly. I had to stay there for awhile so once we moved out I was actually sad to leave the place. Now we visit quite often and stay for approx 3 days at a time. I love it here now. The new owners have redone everything from the floors to walls etc. They even upgraded the tv's from the everyday tv to a flatscreen mounted on the wall. The rooms are much more cleaner and more inviting.

There was no parking so we had to park in front of dumpsters. The customer service staff that greeted us sucked ass - super unfriendly and made everything triple times more complicated (except for Peter). The entire corridor leading to our room smelled like cigarettes. The room looked like it was never cleaned before. The blankets had cigarette burns on them. The tub had pubic hairs and dirt in it. All together it smelled musty and like an ash tray. We knew this would not be a 5 star experience - it was chosen due to low cost. But I never imagined it would be this unreal. We cancelled the last 2 nights of our trip and stayed at an air bnb. Do not stay here.

When I pulled up the the building, I thought they rebranded it as I sworn I've stayed here under a different Marriot brand. I pulled into the back parking lot which you have to register and pay for if you're a guest. There is a parking station out back but don't use that as it's way cheaper staying as a hotel guest. At front desk, they had a pretty decent sized lineup but they got through it pretty quickly. They asked if I checked in and I let them know when they were under a different name. They told me they actually have 2 hotels here which is confusing but confirmed that I had stayed here before. Front desk staff were really nice to me. They let me know that breakfast is included. I headed to my room and got settled. The room I had was pretty bright from all the natural light. The room has a tv, desk and a fridge. The washroom looked decent but later found out that the shower/drain was a bit finicky. The bed was decent. I tried the breakfast. It's super basic and it's OK at best but I do like that they have a few fruit options as well as yogurt. There's hot items and all things you'd find at a continental breakfast. Coffee is passable. I never checked out the amenities so can't really comment on them,

I had the option to check in mobile but the weird thing is that you still have to arrange the parking because guest get a reduced $8 overnight charge vs the $10 and I had a promo card waiting for me. I guess you could mobile check in and avoid the $2 saving. My request online was top floor and I got the 14th floor, the same floor as the breakfast area. The room was quite spacious for a king with sofa, but you can hear the vehicle traffic all night. The black out curtains sort of did the job, the air conditioning is loud. And you can hear the refrigerator. If you're a sensitive sleeper this may not be for you. Also throughout the night can hear someone above- but I thought I was top floor??? Level of cleanliness was moderate, you can see some visible dirty sports. For the price points at $300 and change after tax, it was a bit steep. Location was right at the 400 hwy so easy to get point to point
