Just went here and left after sitting and waiting for Close to 30 minutes. Made an appointment and everything and still had to wait. I asked if they could at least start soaking off my acrylics and they ignored me. There was a nail tech sitting in a chair on her phone with headphones in doing nothing so clearly they don't really care for their customers or making money. I will never return here and will spread the news to everyone I know. Good luck running a business like this, Won't last long. read more

I live nearby so I came in as a walk-in today. I was seen to immediately. I showed Lam a photo of what I wanted and he suggested a color similar that I ended up liking more. He asked questions and verified multiple times to make sure I was happy (shape, color, finish etc). His attention to detail was so refreshing! He was gentle but quick, and not once was there any burning/pain that can come from getting acrylics done. I honestly was so happy with how he treated me throughout the process! I opted to get some jewels done, and he showed me the whole collection and we talked about all sorts of options. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I kept scrolling through Pinterest and changing my mind before settling on something simple but beautiful. He was so patient and I'm in love with the end result! It was super affordable too. I definitely will be back and recommend you stop in to get pampered too! Lam and Grand Nail Spa are wonderful! read more

I've continued to go back to this place for my mani/pedi needs and receive consistently good service. Wanted to share something I observed today ... a homeless man stopped in to ask for some money. The owner rushed to get him a cold water and a soda and also paid for his meal next door. He didn't make a big deal out of it -- if I wasn't paying close attention, I wouldn't have known it had happened. I just thought it was a graceful way to treat a human being, and it speaks to his character and how he runs his business. Also, to update: They have recovered their pedicure chairs! I went yesterday for my first time! I LOVED IT!! Tina I believe was my technician and I LOVED HER!!! I came close to closing and she took her time!! I cannot stress how important that is to me. She talked to me while I was getting my nails done. So sweet! I haven't been to a nail salon in Austin that I liked, and had good quality work for a good price. Here I felt like I got it all! I had been going here for the last few months because I really liked the first time I went. It's hard finding a nail salon to continue to go to on regular basis because people leave elsewhere and whatever. Anyhow... went today, my past pedicures have been amazing.. the blissful pedicure is amazing. Hot rocks, paraffin wax, massage, just perfect! Well today I went and got manicure and pedicure, manicure was great! The pedicure... well my toe nails are super short, look like baby nails, I never have had my toe nails so short. I keep my toe nails at a good length but They were cut toooooo short and shaped round, which I asked for square. Then he cut the sides so narrow that looks like a blob of polish on my toes. The ladies ALWAYS do an amazing job, this time the guy did my pedicure and I am not happy at all! They are not happy toes like he said! So embarrassed that I don't even want to post a pic! If I return, I will make sure that the ladies do my pedicure because my toes are not happy right now. Can't do anything but let them grow out now. read more

0 stars they don't know how to do anything simple. And give you bad attitude and raise their voice when you tell them they didn't do what you asked for and then they change their story and tell you at the end, AFTER they "finished" that they don't know how to do that design. so now you're stuck with half and unfinished nails and leave you with no choice but to pay for half ugly job. When you could've gone to another salon . It felt like I was scammed but most likely I was scammed with $100 for ugly toes and unfinished nails Really bad nail salon. read more

This place used to be great. They have changed ownership and the service has gone wayyy downhill! Don't bother to make an appointment, as you may end up waiting 30-45 minutes for them to get to you. I was a regular customer and always made an appointment. However, I'm sick of the appointment time not being respected. Also, they will often refuse appointments on the phone when they are soon to "close" (ie within 1 hour-30 minutes of closing) but I repeatedly have seen people walk in just before, at the time of close, or (worst yet) after closing. I've stopped coming back completely after my appointments meant nothing. Also avoid the jellybeans or anything that is not wrapped/sealed. I have seen so so many people (and kids) use their hands to grab something from their pity snack selection. Ewww!!! read more

I went there for the first time to get a acrylic and gel manicure and it was going well but during my manicure a lady came in upset about her lip wax because her lip was bleeding, I could see the scab on her face from about 10 feet away. It made me really nervous but I figured it was a one off and let them finish my nails? Even giving them a large tip... a few days later one of my acrylic nails broke in half. A couple days after that my entire index finger nail broke in half. I called and let them know what happened I came in and they fixed it for free. But then the next day my pinky nail and my thumb nail broke off. Mind you I do not do any heavy work with my hands, I'm on the computer all day for work and my hair doesn't require any real managing either. This had never happened to me before. I went into the nail salon and asked if I could get a repair of all of my remaining nails, aside from the two they just got fixed, because the other ones I could see were about to break off too. The owner kept acting like he didn't hear me clearly and then finally said he didn't have time to fix all of my nails, that I should be glad they fixed them for free and I would need to make an appointment for the next day like everyone else. I explained to him that I didn't have time to keep coming in to get my broken nails fixed and the last time my nail broke it started bleeding really bad. He got a terrible temper with me about it me in front of other customers... I am shocked at the terrible customer service here. Do not waste your time!!! Go somewhere else! read more

Got my nails done here twice already and it's been a wonderful experience. I show Lam, my new favorite nail tech, a picture and he does an amazing job creating his own. He's seriously personable and even if you don't like it, he will take his time to make sure your completely satisfied!! Thank you for being amazing and I'm happy I found a place that provides amazing results but also top notch customer service. Highly recommend. I would also recommend calling before setting an appointment, although I have walked in on a week day and was able to work with Lam. Can't wait for my next visit. read more

I got a deluxe pedicure two weeks ago. I had French tip and I noticed some discoloration spreading under the polish. I thought I was overreacting until I took the paint off and was greeted by a nail fungus! I'm glad I caught it before it got too bad! I'm never returning or suggesting this place. Run. read more

I've tried to give this place a few tries. Their customer service sucks. They have nobody that can speak english well enough to explain their different pedicures and then roll their eyes when asked. I stopped going to them for a while because of their horrible service but they are close to home so I went back to other times...no.more. The chairs are tired and worn and they have mediocre technicians that do not give proper pedicures. I got injured the time before by one lady digging into the side of my toe and shaped my nails horribly. Gave them a final chance and my pedicure was horrible again. No time taken to shape my nails, callous removal and my nails chipped the next day and look like crap. Couldn't even say anything to the nail tech since she doesn't understand a word I'd say. Time to find somewhere else read more

Nope! Not a fan of being taken advantage of! I was a regular customer. Was really happy. But the last few times, I've been a little on the fence. Recently went in for a fill. Which it says is 20$ and was charged 28$ . I said "I thought it was 20$ " - He said " I trimmed them too " Ummmm no....that's not how that works. Won't be going back. read more

Everything I want in a quick nail salon experience. My manicurist worked wonders on my nails which I had made a mess of. They were quite short and damaged after wearing gel nails for over a year straight. She cleaned up my awful cuticles and did a spotless polish job. They do get really close to the living cuticle but no cuts. I like them that clean, but others prefer not to have the cuticle trimmed. They will honor your wishes either way. They do have wine and snacks, but I will be coming back for the work. Very moderately priced for such good work. read more

I came here with two friends for a gel manicure and was not impressed. The nail swatches don't match their colors, my nails were unevenly filed, and the gel polish was painted over my cuticles and already peeling off after an hour. I only gave two stars instead of one because this nail salon is clean and everyone was very nice. read more

I encountered a similar issue at the their Round Rock location and almost stopped going to European altogether. I found they just opened this location so I have it try, but again it is the same wax which is why I may need to change. However, Zabrina's high energy and exceptional customer service have kept me coming back. If the wax does not return to its original quality, I will not be renewing my wax pass once it expires. I will also need to update my review to a 1 star rating not relating to the people, but to the company due the product being used.

To put the cherry on top when I get out of the appointment, the woman that was behind me was a few minutes late so she could have worked on me until the woman got there, but didn't. I saw this place near HEB and noticed a lot of grand opening signage with some great discounts, like $5 for eyebrow threading instead of the usual $10 price. When I walked in, the place was empty and they were able to assist me right away. It is a very bare-bones type of place. I didn't know what I wanted really -- just wanted some better shape to my brows, and they quickly sold me on the threading/lami/tint package for $60. Within moments, I am getting threaded (minimally uncomfortable -- maybe a bit more discomfort than waxing), then some perm-like chemicals are applied to my brows while I wait (they advised I would feel some stinging), then the tint, which took the least amount of time. I will say, I was nervous about how all of this would look. While waiting, the friendly technician chatted with me and explained that this was the third of a chain of brow studios they owned in the Austin area, dating back several years. When everything was complete, I have to admit, my eyebrows looked way more defined than ever before. They sent me home with a spooly and some styling wax. I was a bit conscious that maybe they were too noticeable on account of the darker tint. But actually, I have settled into them now and I think I would absolutely get this done again. I'm happy with this service and would love to come back and try the facials and other services that they offer here.
