Omg, Stacy is by far the best and her assistant was wonderful. They were really gentle and caring with Tyson and I can tell you I will definitely be going back to her. She is our official pet groomer. So I am really happy with the outcome. Tyson is looking so well and way more happy and I would highly recommend them. There supervise was outstanding and the atmosphere was super inviting. Lastly they recommended a comb and gave us a toy for him to play with. I would say 20 out of 5 stars. Very weird customer service situation. I called to ask when they had a next available appointment for a cat. I expected a wait, and I wasn't asking for it urgently. The lady who answered the phone was like "we are booked for 3 weeks." Ok... So after three weeks? I'm flexible... And she said flat out "we aren't taking any new clients." I think they're just closing or scaling back, but she was rude. She referred me to another place (where I actually already take my dog), and I'm pretty sure they don't groom cats there. :-/ read more

What an absolutely FANTASTIC experience!! Let me start at the beginning: my poor cat Zooey snuck outside and got his fur tangled in some burrs and was in need of professional help. I called in and Stacy was able able fit us in the same day!! I was ecstatic! A member of her team gave me a call and let me know that they were finishing up with the last dog of the day and that I could bring Zooey in. Right away I was impressed with their accommodation and professionalism. I was a bit nervous though since he had never been shaved before and I wasn't sure how he would behave. I came to pick him up an hour later and he was sitting there just happilly purring away and relaxing in his carrier! Stacy and her team did an absolutely wonderful job putting me and my fur baby at ease! Grand Paws does amazing work at an incredibly fair price! Zooey not only looks cute as can be, but I can tell he feels so much better too!! They even gave him a new toy! (which is already his favorite) Stacy and her crew are the BEST! I just brought my dog to get groomed here for the first time. When you enter the place it reeks of cigarette smoke and is filthy. When I picked my dog up she was so anxious. She has never been anxious after grooming before. It took her a good hour or two to settle when we got home. As for the haircut, it was ol, but she has razor burn all over her body and smells like cigarettes. I will not be bringing my dog here again. read more

Been going there for years and every time we go there they always have our 2 dogs for many hours, appointment at 8 am and don't get till 4 pm. Last time we went she forgot to add us to the calendar and tried to tell me it was my fault appointment at 3:30 and didn't get back till 11 at night. I asked if it was walk-ins or appointments and she sighed in that "God, you are wasting my time" sort of way and said only appointments. Their grooming services are okay, but the way they do business is subpar. Called to leave a message to make an appt but no one called back after several days. Called again and someone answered was able to schedule an appointment. Arrived at the appointment and note on door saying the appt was canceled. Called and someone answered but said they were closed and was told someone would call me to reschedule. Didn't hear back until a few days later. They offered to reschedule and grooming was free. Typically services are priced well and grooming is okay, but trying to get and keep an appointment is too much of a hassle. Makes paying a higher price at a dependable place worth it. read more

I've been going to Grand Paws for a few years now. It doesn't seem very profesisonal when you walk in the door, but I have taken my dogs to other places and they are much more comfortable at Grand Paws. They are not shaking and scared when I pick them up like they are at other, more "professional" looking places. So while I look around Grand Paws, thinking "Hum.." it's about how my dogs feel and it's about their comfort level, not mine. So I will continue to take them to Grand Paws until my dogs tell me know otherwise. Plus, they are very reasonably priced. P.S. it can take weeks to get an appointment, so plan ahead. read more

Wow! We brought our two Australian shepherds to Grand Paws for help with the spring shed and they look absolutely amazing! Stacy asked what I wanted them to focus on, and I requested that the focus be on their undercoats. They did just that. Of course, they are also sparkling clean and look amazing (at least for now), but getting all that extra fur out will keep them so much cooler as we turn toward summer. We bring our German Shepard mix, Presley, to Stacy a few times a year and every time our dog looks absolutely amazing. This quirky little place is not even comparable to any other groomer we've tried. Friendly staff are laid back and make our dog feel at home. Stacy takes the time to get out all the loose hair and nubby undercoat. I like to support small businesses, which is how I found Grand Paws, but they continue to get our business for the great job they do. We now drive in from Woodbury and it's definitely worth the trip. read more

How dare they call themselves a grooming facility! I called to make an appointment for my dog on a Tuesday and was told they didn't have appointments available until the next week Wednesday. When i asked when they had appointments on that day I was curtly told "sometime after two". I made the appointment and waited the week to bring my dog. When i entered the facility there was a pungent odor of sandalwood hanging thick in the air, which almost made me gagged. I should have followed my gut instincts and took my dog away but I was in a rush and needed my dog groomed. The facility was sub par highlighted with a shabby desk in the front with a appointment book left wide open for customers to see every appointment for the day with names and phone numbers easily seen. Carpet throughout the facility which I thought was quite unsanitary once I came back and seen that it was in the grooming areas as well. When I was called to come pick up my dog, the customer service was again poor. There was no interest in my dog or any mention of if I was going to return again. She just gave me back my dog and said goodbye. When i got home and examined my dog as i do from any grooming facility he had numerous cuts all along his belly. He had many areas of razor burn and red bumps where the skin was so irritated it was showing signs of scabbing. As I was rubbing his belly I saw a black bug and going to take a closer look could see it was a flea. I had to treat not only my dog for the potential for more fleas but also my home. I will never take my dog to this place again. I warn all others pay the extra 20 bucks and take your dog to a bigger more well known groomer. I wouldn't recommend them and would have given them 0 stars if i could. read more
