Josh greeted me when I stopped on my way to work one morning after my check engine light came on. He was SUPER friendly, helpful, and had one of his mechanics come out to immediately put the scanner on it. He got me scheduled very quickly. He told me I could have a loaner car when I dropped my vehicle off, which was much appreciated since we live 25 miles out of town. They diagnosed the problem and had it repaired the following day. He checked with my vehicle warranty (which I could only use at the dealership out of town) - but we were so impressed with how helpful they were, so we paid the extra money to have Automotive Electric do the work. The one thing that stands out for me with them seems to be the guy who looked at my car about two summers ago. Our car's check engine light came on and began stuttering while we were in the Target parking lot. If you depressed the gas pedal it would run fine so it seemed to be an issue when the car was idling. We took it here and they gave us possibilities of what could be the issue and said they'd look at it. About 15 minutes later a man comes out holding one of the spark plug wires and let us know that one of the connections has some moisture in it. Stated he would clean up the wire for free and only charge for taking a look at it. This is the only automotive business that I have had a positive experience with since I moved up here in 2003. I hope that when I gave this employee warm praise to his supervisor he was commended for it as this seems to be a very rare trait to find in this town.. Edit: Spelling

Brought my car in and was given a quote for a power steering gear assembly rack and pinion replaced…read morenow having multiple issues beyond the power steering electrical system and my terrain and my 4 wheel drive and my advanced trac fails my brakes go off as if I'm slipping on ice in the winter but it's summer kind of scary going down the hwy at 65mph. I strongly feel i got taken advantage of. Let alone then trying to charge me 900$ for brakes...I was supposed to get a credit back cause I over paid and he tried to get me to leave it as credit at the shop. Umm no thank you he paid me cash from his pocket and none of this has been resolved. I'm a single mom of 3 kids i have my job along with having to care for my elderly father a good amount of time. Instead they just did the work. If I had received the estimate, as promised, I would have told them not to do the work because the pressure sprayer was old.
