I agreed and was given an appointment to follow up with Dr. Muallem in two weeks. Dr. Muallem was pretty fast, read the reports and the tests on my eyes for cataracts. These are the people you don't need a good "bed side manner." He was straightforward and we agreed to proceed with the procedure. Because my insurance company did not participate with Dr. Muallem for cataract surgery I had to go to Lansing to check with a different doctor. That doctor at LO EYE was rude, arrogant and disagreed with Grand Rapids Ophthalmology. Needless to say I will not be returning to that place in Lansing. (he was giving me a prescription for glasses that their tech determined in her testing).

She commented on what an excellent job my IOL replacement was. When she was out on leave, another retinal specialist took her place and he too, commented on what an excellent job on my IOL lens. Both doctors asked who had done the replacement. Thank you Dr. Weber. This makes 3 separate retinal specialists (see previous review), who have commented on the excellent job on my IOL replacement. Yes, at times I have had to wait and I have returned to this office several times since the move, but Dr. Weber is worth the wait.

I do not recommend going to this place at all!!!!…read more Got my eyes dilated and the Dr was supposed to take measurements. all she did was shine a light in my eyes look side to side and look at the letters, I couldn't even see the letters on the screen and she said I had 20/20 Vision and my eyes looked healthy. Mind you I wear glasses and have a stigmatism. Once I was told I was all set I didn't even receive a pair of shades for the sun since I had my eyes dialed. Don't waste your hard earned money or if you have insurance that covers for yearly eye check ups don't use it up here!!!!!!!

She needed certain referrals to make appt happen and went above and beyond to see that I got an appt. Then, we paid more AFTER our "good insurance" covered the majority of the bill...we never paid that much for glasses in Kentwood. It also took a long time for our glasses to come in. I called them about the glasses before they called me. Then they called AND texted a reminder for an appointment we must have set up before leaving the office. I cancelled the appointment last week but still received 2 phone calls and text messages on Memorial Day. The phone calls wine me up! I will never go back.
