It was okay that I wasn't there, because the door was stuck open. True to word, technician Brad phoned me from my driveway and told me what he believed was wrong with the door (we agreed). He was there at 2:20! He gave me an estimate over the phone, which I verbally approved. When I got home at 4:15, the door was repaired and he had a new remote control for me. He showed me what he did to repair it. I paid with my Visa the exact amount he quoted me, and he drove away. I was very happy with the service from start to finish. The phone was answered by a real person who exhibited kindness and professionalism. She told me the technician's name, and I could see his photo on the website. They do background checks and drug testing of their employees. The technician was early, in uniform, and very professional. I am very pleased.

I had door installed anyways and realized after several weeks after installation that the hinges are bent and door does not close properly as the strut thing is useless. Went to Doormart and told them of the situation and have not heard back from them. Save your money and go elsewhere. Unfortunately it looks like I am out hundreds of dollars and I don't expect to hear back from them. Go get a reputable company that stands behind what they sell and will actually get back to you.

I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I thought they were expensive also but I needed it done so I was stuck. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.
