Super pleased with the result and the process. We had hail damage and Bruce was highly recommended to me by my neighbor. There were some insurance issues that he was both helpful and extremely patient about scheduling. He was also very patient as we tried to decide colors and options, leaving samples and showing us photos of finished projects, etc. Much appreciated. We also had a solar tube(highly recommended) and two skylights(also recommended0 installed by his team and rolled into the quote. His team was polite, professional and courteous. I have a large roof and they finished in two days, they were good. All issues during the project were addressed immediately and corrected. There was only one thing I wished could have been better and that was nails on the ground. (Any roofing project: go to Harbor Freight, get a magnetic roller and do it again yourself after they leave. It saves tires and shoes) Bruce warned me they would do their best but they would miss some and they did. Small thing considering the overall performance and product. Bruce and his crew were wonderful in many ways. Very attentive and respectful of our time and property. His quote was very thorough and he did everything he said he would. His crew had our roof completed in 2 days. They did not use air guns for nails because it is not as uniform and consistent as roofers using their hammers. They also used a very high grade felt that was not mentioned in any other quote. The clean up was very thorough as well. We actually had an insurance arbitrator "friend of ours" review the quotes we received and he was very impressed with the detail of Grandchamps. He identified several areas where Bruce was using superior products and superior methods of application. We reached out to multiple roofers and all of them wanted to see our insurance paperwork before they quoted anything. To see what was allowed by our coverage. Bruce simply quoted our roof and then followed up in a few days to see if we had any questions. He earned our business and we have referred several friends to him. My roofing experience was challenging. The tar strips on the IKO shingles failed to seal. That meant that in wind and storms, the shingles were lifting and slamming back on the roof. Some were damaged and tore off. Under the IKO shingle warranty, Bruce was required to ensure they sealed. Bruce brought a crew to use roof asphalt on every single shingle to try to seal them. This did not fix the problem. The shingles still warped and curled. A warranty claim was filed with IKO. It was denied. IKO did not honor their warranty. The IKO representative was useless and condescending. I caution everyone to not use IKO shingles for a roof. BRUCE DID HONOR HIS WORK AND HIS WARRANTY. Bruce upgraded me to Tamko 30 year shingles and re-did my roof at his expense. He sent me a great crew and they did fantastic work. I am very happy with my new roof. Bert Bilsing and his crew were professional, courteous, fast and did an excellent job. From working with the insurance adjustor, choosing the type and color of shingles and working through the actual roof replacement including discovering some hidden problem areas, they made the entire process easy and calming. When an unexpected problem arose with the existing roof structure, Bert had a solution for it. Our new Copper Canyon roof makes our home look like a new home. The main contact I worked with was Bert Bilsing. I highly recommend this company. They had a 10 man team complete the job in 2 days! About 124 squares of material.  They sent me lots of photos during and after the roof work. This was important because I wasn't able to be there during the roof replacement. Key points: I upgraded the ventilation with soffit vents and passive turbines. Hoping to reduce the load on the HVAC units so they last longer. Communication was excellent. I hope not to need any roof work for a long time. But when I do Grandchamp Roofing will be my first call. read more
