I have only one caveat, as a person living with diabetes I cannot buy the bakery items, prepared foods and prepared meals as not a single one has a label listing ingredients or nutritional information. At best I would have to make an educated guess about the contents. This means that salads, sandwiches, ready to heat meals, cookies, cakes, hot soups, prepared lunch items are off limits for me. I also found that the carbs noted in their sushi, the one exception to the above, is not accurate. I have asked repeatedly to look into rectifying the above. Nothing has changed. I recognize that my needs may not reflect the needs of many of their customers but nutritional labeling would be helpful for other consumers who, due to allergies or medical conditions, need this kind of information to decide whether a food is safe to purchase.

First of all, easy-to-read signage and easy-to- find sections, including the bulk section (for things like nuts and grains) and the salad bar. A broad selection of healthy food, fresh produce, and locally-roasted coffee is crucial for me, and they nail all that. But they also have excellent sandwiches made to order at the deli counter, so if you go in hungry, I guarantee you'll need to get something. You don't have to be a member to fall in love with this store, but if you become one, you get to help decide how the place is run. People-power FTW! What could make this better, you ask? Well, they also have cold brew & kombucha on tap for the millennials, cafe seating in the front, and oh by the way, regular community events in their parking lot. He was beyond friendly & wanted to make sure our questions were answered. The freezers are conveniently labeled so that you can find the products you desire. Love that they bring in various vendors, including Fossil Farms (NJ) but also some local NH products. There are also other products, such as dressings, marinades, seasonings, etc. for sale. The store is small but very clean. Taking a left onto route 4 is a challenge but still worth a visit. The prices are extremely fair! There is also a rewards program where you can get $ off for every so many points. We signed up that very day & already have 58 points. For example, you earn $5 off for 50 points, or $10 for 100 points etc. Worth it to me! Jason said they are currently working on a new location in Epsom at the circle. It will have a different name & more of a butcher shop. He plans to keep The Healthy Buffalo open for another year, depending on inventory & how sales go with the new location.
