Went to the Concord Cooperative market for the first time today. I do not live in the area but I have heard good things so I decided to check it out! The Market is located right in downtown Concord on Main St. It does have its own parking lot which is a plus! There are also tables out front for summer time . My first observation is The Market is very neat , clean and well organized. The produce area is a bit small but well stocked. There is a large section of dry bulk goods( one of the largest I've seen). The cheese area is also very large with a great selection. In the back of the store they have a good sized area of prepared foods and a sandwich/ deli counter. So stop by for lunch if you like. If you are a vegetarian they have the largest selection of vegetarian/vegan foods(frozen/fresh) in the area! The prices are on the higher side which is very normal for a market like this but I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for! Overall I was very impressed with this market and will return!:) Happy shopping!

Reasonably friendly and convenient. It's located in downtown Concord across the street from the Red River Theatre. It's got a good selection of bulk items, as every coop should. Although the cheese selection isn't very extensive, on the day that I was there they had local milk, various live yogurts and even a container of quark from Brookford Farm. The prices are nothing to write home about, but if the profit ends up in the pocket of local farmers, I don't mind paying a bit more.

A great place to grab quality food and also a great place for lunch dates with friends! I've been here to grab sushi and ended up staying and talking with friends for hours at a time on more occasions than I'd like to admit.

I love the hot and cold bar for a quick lunch option when I'm working downtown. I can always rely on it being fresh and healthy!

Love the products that the Co-op offers, but the staff aren't always the friendliest! Often seem annoyed when you ask them questions.

Wonderful little lunch stop!…read more It was full of locals and regulars and on a wait for lunch. At that moment I knew I had picked a good spot! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!! The green beans were so pretty and fresh too. She could barely get 1/3 down, lol. It was a ton of food. Economical! Hometown feel! Good people working and eating here! I love it!! I'm not even sure I could find the place again. I sure am glad I did the first time! '26 -39

I had high hopes for this place. We used to go to Cimos and all of their food was amazing…read more(especially their chicken zing soup). So Cimos closed down and this place took over. And the food just is not good. We bought a chicken parm sub and a meatball parm sub and both were just not good...to the point that we threw away the leftovers. The meatballs we basically burnt (when you bit into them...they were really dark on the inside and a burnt flavor). And the chicken parm had a very weird taste. Again, a burnt taste. Now both of these had tomato sauce. So maybe that we the problem. And the sub rolls are thin and soggy. Overall, the sandwiches were both just bad. Like I said, we ate some and threw the rest away. So we tried this place a few times now...and we are done with them. Sorry guys...we tried.

A few of my coworkers also live in this neighborhood and they frequented Cimo's for many years and Ordway's before that. Flanagan's offers made to order breakfast & lunch sandwiches/subs, grilled items, pizza, chili, soups, plus grab & go items such as wraps, subs, finger sandwiches, salads, deli salads, parfaits, baked goods and special heat & serve entrees (shepherd's pie, jambalaya). The prices here seem reasonable, most made to order items $5-$10 range. Place your order at the deli counter (they give you an order slip to bring over to pay at the market register, and pick up your prepared food at the deli counter. Besides prepared food items, the market offers a variety of cold beers (including NH beers), bottled soft drinks, juices, water, wine, hot coffee, snacks, candy, bread products, NH maple syrup, fresh berries, and NH Lottery scratch tickets. There is also an ice cream trailer outside next to the building too! I stopped in here twice this week, for takeout dinner and takeout lunch. Earlier this week, I stopped in here around 7:15 PM near closing time, but the deli/grill counter was closed for the day (closes at 5 PM), so I was limited to grab & go items only. I picked up a container of homemade macaroni salad ($3.25/lb plus tax) and a microwave & serve Jambalaya ($5.99 plus tax) to enjoy at home. The macaroni salad had a mix of soft ridged elbows, chopped celery, red peppers, tomatoes, seasonings in a light mayo dressing. The Jambalaya (heated in microwave) had a medium spicy flavor with a mix of red beans, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, chicken, smoked sausage and long grain rice in a tomato broth. Later this week, I stopped in here around lunch time and the place was very busy, parking lot very full. I placed my order the deli/grill counter for the Our Cuban Sub ($8.50 plus tax) and also grabbed a container of Garden Salad ($3.95/lb plus tax). Since the place was very busy, it took about 15 minutes before my name was called to pick up my sub. The Our Cuban Sub (7") was thick and heavy, layered with slices of grilled deli ham, tender carved pork, chopped dill pickles, yellow mustard, melted provolone cheese on a thick soft chewy toasted white sub roll. The Garden Salad had a mix of farfalle (bowtie) pasta, chopped red peppers, green peppers, green zucchini, yellow zucchini, spinach, cheese in a light oil dressing. Overall, the food I ordered from Flanagan's South Ender was excellent and freshly prepared. I will definitely have to stop in here for breakfast takeout before work shift.
