Ponds and peace…read more Waterhole Cemetery is a relatively small graveyard that has a nice variety of gravestones. Nothing really large but there were several medium sized obelisks and a couple of other fairly elaborate memorials. The cemetery is surrounded by a cool black spiked fence and a stone wall. It was well maintained although there were some spots that looked they were intentional left rough and wild. The cemetery was started in 1793 but most of the graves I saw were from the mid 1800s, the time that obelisks were in fashion for dead folks. Many of the soft brownstone memorials were cracked or fading but I did see some cool death heads and unique and personal engravings A cool and interesting little cemetery that probably got it's name from the little pond only a short distance from it. Although the little graveyard is no longer accepting new customers it remains a fascinating part of East Hampton's history.

I'm an artist/designer, so I needed…read moresomeone who could work with me on a highly customized design, working me through options and details of manufacturing, and be able to handle artwork I created for carving into the granite. Shelley did not disappoint, and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Technically they are flawless, having direct control over the entire manufacturing process, and design-wise they were able to interpret my intention, and add 3-dimensionality to my 2D drawings as discussed. The only slightly negative part of my experience was that in the beginning they were very busy, and not available yet to work out the details of my order. However, they knew our deadline the entire time, and got things done when it needed to be, which is what counts. I supposed the details just didn't need to be worked out as early as I had anticipated. I would absolutely recommend them, and I will be continuing to work with them on our family headstone.

Jim and Lisa truly were there for us every step of the way through emails,phone calls. They know we don't have any family here, so their fantastic service was not motivated by the prospect of future business.
