We called Grape Escapes in hopes they would work with us in accommodating a 2 hour scavenger hunt and playground crawl for our sons 8th and 10th birthdays. Jake was amazing! He was flexible and fair during the reservation process and he was AMAZING as our driver! He showed up on time (literally to the minute) and treated all the kids (7 boys between 7and 10 years old) with patience and kindness. I booked Grape Escapes to tour wine country with some friends and my husband for my husband's birthday. After doing a lot of research into limo companies in the area, we decided on Grape Escapes because it was the most reasonably priced limo service in the area, had a very up-to-date and well-designed website, and all the costs were included in the quoted price including the tip. They even offer a weekday discount. Jake arrived on-time and in the cleanest, newest limo I've ever been in. I've been in a couple limos and they have all been dated at best, downright tacky at worst. This one was pure class. It was stocked with a bottle of champagne and bottled water on ice, the glasses were super clean, and Jake kept a cooler in the back for us to store some cheese we brought. Jake was super fun and professional. While we had an itinerary, he was super cool with making adjustments as we went and even introduced us to a couple new wineries that we had never been to. Grape Escapes will be my first choice in limo service when I visit the area again. These guys are definitely worth every penny. read more

The staff was great from the first person I spoke with on the phone to the limo driver (Phil). We had the maximum number of people for the stretched limo and were able to fit comfortably. Phil sent me a text message with his ETA before he arrived and it was easy and convenient to stay in touch with him. He was professional and friendly, making for a great experience. I've used Grape Escapes twice to go wine tasting with groups of around 12 people. Having used other companies as well, I recommend Grape Escapes and Grape Escapes only! The bar they set puts them in a league of their own. Jake, the owner and our driver on both trips, is polite, friendly, courteous, flexible, and extremely professional. The vehicles in the Grape Escapes Fleet are in top condition and equipped with everything you need to play music, watch TV, enjoy drinks, etc. Jake arrives on time and dressed up, something that makes your event feel even more special. Jake thinks ahead of everything that can help his customers, from providing ice and water on the bus, to being a resource for vineyards info, to giving each group a little orientation on how to use the music equipment, etc. in his vehicles. Really impressed with Jake (the owner) and this service. Our daughter celebrated a special birthday and we decided to rent a limo for the night. We just needed a limo to pick us up, drop us at a restaurant twenty minutes away, and then pick us two hours later to take us home. EVERYONE ELSE wanted a ridiculous price. Couple of weeks ago a few friends and I hired Grape Escape to take us to a dinner at a vineyard in Healdsburg. We then went out to some bars in Windsor. I have to say, Jake our driver and come to find out, the Owner, was amazing. He really made our night. Could not have been a nicer guy and had no problem with our crazy crew and changing plans. The price was better than any other place I have used before and even if I wasn't the service made it worth any price. He was right on time, very well dressed and the Limo was by far the cleanest I have ever seen. They have some great upgrades in the Limo, PS3, direct IPhone connection that you can control with the stereo system. We will never use any other Limo company again. Even though they are out of Windsor, they will even travel to San Francisco. I'm sure we all know how expensive and trashy the Limos in the City are. Any way, be smart and use them. The limo bus was beautiful and clean and had every amenity I could imagine (I can't tell you how many times I've gotten in a limo and realized they don't have any way to play my iPhone 5...I know, first world problems). It had just been redone and had a huge tv in the back, new upholstery, lighting, flooring, etc, and an iPhone dock to play songs from a playlist or pandora. He was a great driver too; which can be especially difficult in SF but we all felt so safe. We do this every year.....This was by far our best limo experience and we will be using Grape Escapes moving forward. Right from the start, Jake, the owner, was straight forward in discussing the costs (great price and all inclusive) unlike others we have dealt with in the past with hidden fees, and bumping up the hourly rate due to it being an event weekend. Our driver, Jonathon (or JT as we've nicknamed him!) was very personable, friendly, and accommodating. We used Grape Escape Saturday for a wine tasting day for 14. It started out 'grape.' By the end, we just wanted to escape. Our driver was friendly enough but drove a little faster than we were comfortable with on the windy road to Calistoga. He told us for some reason that this specific limo was already sold. I now know why they wanted to get rid of what I think was the oldest car in their fleet. It became very clear in the first 10 minutes of the ride. Stagnant water started spilling in from a exit hatch on the ceiling- directly onto one of us! It soaked her clothes and got in her champagne. This kept happening the rest of the day. It was splashing on us at every turn. We all squished to the opposite ends of the limo to avoid it. Not the experience we were hoping for. There wasn't much we could do about it at the time but we did let the manager know after. We were surprised to find out he already knew about it and just thought the owner had gotten around to fixing it. Nope. They did get around to charging us $43.75 for 15 minutes over our quoted time. This is not the kind of customer service you would expect after paying close to $1,000.00. We will definitely do another limo day and definitely use a different service. read more

I booked Grape Escapes Limousine Service for my friend's birthday bash. She wanted to go wine tasting and didn't have any clue on where to go so I called Jake, the owner, and asked for some advice on a few places. He was extremely nice and knew exactly what we had in mind! The limo came early to pick us up, which was awesome since I have had limo services before that were late, so I was already impressed. As we got in we were greeted by complimentary bottles of water and a bubbly bottle of Champagne which was an awesome kick off to a beautiful day of wine tasting. The 8 passenger Limousine was gorgeous with the changing colored lights on the ceiling and the sound system was incredible, we got to play our own music from our ipods directly from the back of the limo (easy access to change our tunes). Our first stop was Hanna Winery where Jake got us a complimentary VIP tasting, private table with an amazing view of the vineyards and of course great wine! At the spur of the moment we decided to detour to different wineries (since some of the girls wanted to go to certain ones) and it was great to know Jake went above and beyond in calling these wineries while we were at Hanna to see if they had availability for such a large group. After a few stops the girls were hungry and wanted to stop at a grocery store. Jake was so kind to take us to a store at the spur of the moment where we were able to pick up some munchies. I highly recommend using Grape Escapes and I will continue to use their services because not only are they professional, but they are nice, have amazing connections, and their limousine was exquisite!
