March 12, 2026 Once again I needed ground transportation from Walnut Creek to SFO and return. I used Golden State Transportation and again was very happy with their services. Francisco was our driver to SFO and again his safe driving, clean car and very friendly in every way. Return we had Ozzy as our driver and he also was a safe driver, clean car and very friendly and helpful with our bags. Been flying a lot recently for work and usual drivers are booked when I'm running last minute. I deal predominantly with Erica, whom changes my bookings at a moments notice. It's super helpful when the schedules keep shifting around. Their vehicles are super clean and drivers are always very courteous and well mannered. RESPONSE: The company response is completely false and attempts to blame shift. Note that the company was apparently sold in the recent years so the 5-star reviews are not even reflective of the current owners. The complete fabrications and attempts to shift blame rather than simply acknowledging a mistake and offering a sincere apology is exactly why I will not recommend this business and this business clearly has unethical and unsavory business practices. Nobody demanded a refund from you. You offered and then rescinded a refund offer which is clearly in writing. Please stop with the lies. EDIT: As an update, I blocked this company's phone number and was subsequently contacted by someone named Russ. When I declined their request to take down my factual review which is clearly supported by the screenshots of communications, he called me unethical and threatened to have me disbarred. Apparently, he looked me up and figured out I was an attorney. This is incredulous but consistent with the interactions I have had with this company. Again, use at your own risk. You really cannot make this stuff up, it is just beyond reason. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company was highly recommended by a local moms group and I had high hopes using them for a roundtrip airport transfer from Danville to SFO for an international trip. I initially indicated on the reservation that I would be providing the car seat. When we realized we could add on a car seat for an additional charge, we decided not to bring our own car seat. I called and added the car seat to the reservation. I even had email confirmation that clearly asks that I was confirming the car seat for the ROUND TRIP transfer as set forth in the emails. Departure was fine and uneventful. Upon arriving back from our international trip, our driver informed us that his notes indicated that we said we would be bringing our own car seat. They had NO car seat for our toddler for the drive him from SFO to Danville which was not only a safety hazard but against the law. We had no other choice but to take this ride with our child and no other options for transportation. I immediately communicated with this company via text and even sent them the email that clearly states I was confirming the car seat for the round trip airport transfer that was all on one reservation. You can see where they even confirmed in writing. The company continued to state I somehow only reserved it one way because that's how the original reservation was made. Makes no sense as they sent a car seat for the departure ride. When informed, they then tried to say I only booked the car seat for one way which also makes no logical sense but also is clearly contradicted in the email confirmation I provided them. Then they offered a refund for the arrival ride or next ride free to make things right. When I accepted the refund to resolve the issue, they then came back and stated their "quality assurance team" denied the refund request which was originally offered by a supervisor. This business clearly has unprofessional and unsavory business practices. There are many many other car service companies that are reputable and do not engage in this type of bait and switch and gaslighting tactics, especially in this current economy. I will never use this company again and would warn any parents with children who rely on having a car seat to keep their kids safe to do so at your own risk. I have never had this issue with a car service ever. Going back to Black Tie Transportation, you definitely get what you pay for with this company. read more

This was my first time booking a limo, and I sought a great deal for a trip to Napa for my birthday. I contacted Golden State Transportation's dispatch office, and they were very helpful and prompt in making my reservation. On the day of the event, the driver arrived at the pickup point before anyone else. He was professional and punctual throughout the entire day. When we had some extra time after a quick stop in Yountville, I asked if we could visit another winery that was not on the itinerary, and he agreed. We can't be happier with their service. We booked them for home pickup to SFO. We've been kept informed of the reservation confirmation and driver's arrival via email and text messages. SUV was in great shape and was very comfortable. Driver was very professional and drove safely. With such a good experience, we decided to book their service for our return trip from SFO. Even though we made the return trip reservation within days of the service, they were kind enough to accommodate our request. I think they requested 10 days in advance booking during the holiday period. Communication throughout our return trip was great with quick response to my text on pick up area. This service is as advertised. We scheduled round trip to SFO AIRPORT. The communication was excellent from the beginning to the end. They had sent me the name and phone number of the drivers the day before my pick ups. We had a 3AM pick up from my home in Antioch to SFO airport, the drivers were very professional and was there about 10 minutes before expected time to airport which relieved my anxiety. The large SUV was clean and comfortable. My return airline trip not only changed airlines and times but was also late. The return trip was great too, he was there when we walked out of airport. There was no waiting and no stress. The service had sent me a text at the very beginning of our contract so any change I had I was able to simply send a text to them and immediately I received a response from them. The return pick up was just as easy with no stress, even with my late international arrival. I definitely recommend this company and will use them again for future transportation needs. We were loyal GST customers pre-Covid. Booked a Sprinter Van for 11 people to attend Shoreline Concert. Driver was late and after sending him all locations and directions via text he missed our dinner location, had us navigate, and missed pre-paid parking. His mistakes caused unnecessary stress and major time delays (we missed opening act after it taking 3 hours to go 50 miles). Also missed major freeway entrance on the way home. GST offered no discount on the expensive fare and said the driver was new to CA. Unprofessional and very stressful. Scott sold company in 2021 and the service is not the same. read more
