As many others have provided, this is small selection store. For what they do have, it good when in a jam and need something you might not find in the grocery store. Pricing was fair. The store was very clean and the staff very friendly. Parking is good, as you have access to the entire parking lot for the shopping center. read more

Shelly was the absolute best. She helped me select a nice wine that was a gift for a friend. She went above and beyond to be sure that it was perfect. I have also attended many of their wine tastings. They are always enjoyable and very well done. Thank you Shelly for helping me. read more

Great little wine shop. The selection is somewhat limited but they have a wide variety on price and varietals. They have always been able to help me find a wine. I have found several new favorites. The staff and owners are always willing to take the time to help you choose the right wine for your meal, tastes and price range. I also enjoy the Friday afternoon tastings. read more

I stopped in to get a gift and they provided excellence service. Very good selection of wine and champaign. The will order it if they don't have it. Along with a great selection, they have regular wine tasting events. I got feedback that they loved the gift and it was a big hit. They have Wine from ~$5 .00 on up and large selection. read more

Nice little wine shop with a personal touch -- their selection is limited, but they always seem to have what we need. The free drop-in wine-tastings on Friday evenings give you a chance to try something new, without running the risk of buying a bottle of something you'll end up pouring down the sink. The proprietors are always smiling, and they know their oenology! read more

Mom and Pop wine shop in a small town of NC. Nicely set up but average quality selection. A good back up option for table wines. Keep it up!

Established in 2002.

Grapenuts Wine was local from the beginning. A group of Wilson wine lovers began private tastings in 1993. In 2002, from the tasting group that gathered weekly, came the 7 original partners* who still own and operate Grapenuts. Our mission is to enhance Wilson's overall wine experience. We bring carefully chosen wines to our community and sell our selections at reasonable prices. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of wine and food with all wine lovers and folks who are ready to start their wine journey. Jordan Smith, well known for his wine expertise in Wilson, became our first Managing Partner. Grapenuts remains Wilson's only full service wine store, and we have more years of combined experience and knowledge than we would like to add up! We welcome new Friends every day, and feedback is always encouraged. No one could predict how it would all turn out, but, Grapenuts Wine, more than a decade old, keeps on uncorking and making new Friends.

One of my siblings noticed the…read moreolder bald short man (middle eastern for sure) was watching us the whole time and from the cameras too. A taquito fell and my sister threw it away because why would anyone eat that if it fell from the rotational cookers onto the counters we all know those counters are disgusting. The old bald man comes running from the cashier (mind you he can't see us from the cashier he was watching us on the camera) and so he tells her with an attitude "why is you throw it away" my sibling told him it had fell and then he said "next time leave it there and tell me so I'll deal with don't do that" we all know damn well he wasn't going to throw it away. Why would WE throw away good food or for fun. He has no right to be talking to people like what's his problem! And he went running back talk smack to the other lady cashier (middle eastern as well) about us it was so uncomfortable afterwards.
